Brilliant wine bar, great wine selection by the glass, nice food and attentive knowledge staff

Reallly excellent sauerkraut workshop, with lots of useful information. Janice shared her expertise about making ferments with the group and I learned a lot. I'm looking forward to trying the sauerkraut when it's ready in a few weeks time.

This is a great local restaurant that needs to be supported.

I visit there quite often and tried almost all of the vegan options. It's excellent.

Not local but by chance ended up in this pub. It was great and exactly how your local pub should be . We only had drinks that I must say were reasonably priced. Atmosphere was friendly and the staff were welcoming. There was a duke box plus darts and pool. It is a shame I do not live closer or I would definitely return.

I am disabled which means I am almost completely blind and I also have some walking issues. However I am very independent and like to do things for myself. On the evening my husband and I visited the restaurant I went to the toilet by myself without any problem when I returned to the table one of the waiters came to our table and whispered in my ear as my husband was ordering some drinks “you madam may have one glass of wine with your dinner and no more, I’ve been watching you” we left straight away and I’m outraged and disgusted by this behaviour. Won’t ever return to this place. Very rud3 and ignorant

We were looking for some "original Pakistani breakfast" after a long voyage from Ireland and we couldn't have gotten anything better. If you want a homemade experience of authentic Pakistani food, then this is the place to be. Everything from food flavours and the atmosphere made me miss home and at the same time feel very much at home. The staff are very friendly and professional with a very "apna" vibe- 2 chais (again amazing!) on the house saying "app mehman hain" (you're our guests) We may plan our next trip to Ireland via Glasgow just to come back here! Stayed here for one night, our standard double room was a good size, with all the amenities you would expect. Nice room actually, with a lovely big bay window, very clean and tasteful decor. Breakfast has to be preordered the night before which really wasn’t an issue for us. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom facilities were roomy and spotless. Lovely big shower head in the bathroom which blasted off the cobwebs from a night of overdoing the whisky consumption! The breakfast was fantastic! In fact, my wife said it was the best she’d ever experienced in a hotel or b&b and that is saying something. Really well run hotel, highly recommended.

What an amazing place! I went there with 3 of my friends and we all had something different, all of which loved our meals. I had the fish and chips which were gluten free! And they were some of the best gluten free fish and chips I’ve ever had! Would definitely recommend 😁
