The best restaurants in Scotland

This place served such great quality food, so beautifully presented, lovely relaxed atmosphere. Felt that prices were right. Would love to go back here and have recommended it to friends.

Poor team, stadium and stupid place to have a stadium as the traffic is horrible at the best of times. It is a pity that the club is going down the drain

We had two of the signature breakfast dishes that were amazing. The coffee is very good. Service was on point. Overall very good. Parking may be an issue at certain times but not when we were there.

I had heard lots of people talking about this place and I finally passed it on my travels and had to try it. I got the macaroni and garlic bread and my goodness was it good. Tasty as anything and the portion size was more than enough for me. Look forward to trying to their various pasta dishes.

Amazing restaurant run by two amazing people. The food on offer is simply stunning.

One of my favourite coffee shops in Edinburgh until it stopped opening at the times advertised. I made a special journey from the city centre in the autumn, and a family member did so on my recommendation today, only to find the place closed. A really disappointing standard of customer service from a café which was otherwise great.

Now called Mamma Mia was quiet as we were there at 5pm on a Thurs night but still had a few tables in food was fabulous and service was amazing

Travelled for an hour for this experience, ignored by the staff so walked out. I get your rules on ordering but if you are a paying customer you should at least be greeted when you arrive not ignored. I am sure you will follow this up with 'war and peace ' (like the feedback on previous reviews) as to why the paying customer is wrong,and you are right, but the fact remains that we are paying for your way of life so treat us with respect. We are not cash cows

Lovely wee coffee shop. Cakes and coffee are great, and staff always friendly.

Not certain what happened to our dinner. We had met there with our party of 6, 24 hours later we were all sick. Food also had strange sour notes and tasted off. Couldn't bring ourselves to say that we all weren't enjoying our food, but the next day we really found out how bad it was. Still recovering too. I'd advise to be cautious of when you visit this place, and try not to go during slower periods of time. It seems that their quality really does vary by how many people are visiting their establishment.
