We walked there for lunch only to find that dogs,are not welcome at all We asked if any tables outside garden where we could sit and eat No So had take away pizza type cookies Shame we would have spent a lot more money even if a picnic table outside the garden gate So didn't spend money on distillery either

Very well baked biscuits and bread. Never tasted that good bakery. Bought the almond biscuit , cheese bread, the five loft, pear bread. The place also decorated with fairy tale.

Visited Manuela a few weeks ago and honestly? I was sad to leave. Hands down the best pastry I have ever had (apple cinnamon cookie). As soon as I tried it I knew I would be gutted to leave, as this is Manuela’s own creation. I can only describe it as a bagel/danish/crumble combination. I also had the brezel baguette and it was faultless. Thank you Manuela for taking the time to chat to us about your little haven, and for baking what you love to eat yourself, it really shows. I will tell everybody I know about your wee bakery 😁

Amazing food, cakes and bread to die for but the real reason to visit is the people. This gem of a place showcases everything that's great about a family business. The only downside was I was driving so couldn't try anything stronger!

We received a welcome from Manuela which exceeded our wildest expectations. No-one could possibly have made us more welcome in their establishment. The welcome was genuine, the food was outstanding. We had driven for two and half hours to visit this bakery and every mile of our journey was rewarded by this visit. This Bakery is run in a way which is an example of how a small business should be run. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble as far as the owners were concerned. I highly recommend a visit and that time should be afforded on that visit to appreciate the wonderful offer.

Avevamo visto le foto di questa graziosa bakery on line e abbiamo voluto farci un salto, cosa dire, davvero meravigliosa! Sembrava di essere in un piccolo villaggio fatato, tranquillo, sospeso nel tempo, con fate, gnomi, gargoyle! La proprietaria gentilissima, i dolci che abbiamo acquistato davvero deliziosi. Ci è piaciuto molto questo posto, peccato che sia così lontano da casa nostra. Consigliatissimo.

What an absolutely wonderful and delightful place 😍 The folk are really friendly and helpful and I can't fault this place on anything except they don't have any nicknacks you can buy as a momento of the visit lol. Words cannot describe the feeling of timelessness, tranquility and awe-inspiring visit we had. There's been some serious thought, time and effort put into it and it's certainly paid off. If you have any sort of imagination you can spend ages looking around here and get lost in stories of trolls, gnomes, faeries, gargoyles and Griffin's. As for the baking, again it's out of this world! The buns and cookies are so tasty and the sizes are not small! All I can say is that you really must make this place a definite on your to visit list! If we're ever back in this area we will be back!

Great food the sweet and savoury cookies were all freshly baked it was hard not to over eat they all looked and tasted so good.

We planned a portion of our vacation in Scotland around being able to stay near Manuela's Wee Bakery! I discovered the bakery last summer on a trip to Scotland and was totally enchanted by the fairytale buildings and gardens but the quality of the food is beyond delicious. The savory cookies are perfect for a lasting breakfast treat but the pretzel baguettes make a wonderful afternoon snack after a day of sightseeing. And don't get me started on the shortbread...yummy! I hope the nice young lady behind the register has a very nice trip to Texas and Louisiana next year. Oh and if you and your parents want to open a "branch" in Colorado we are totally open to the idea! We will definitely be back next time we are in Scotland!

The bakery is a bit off the beaten track. But worth a detour. They have plenty of delicious pastries. There is also a pizza bakery. Check the opening schedule before you go. Parking is limited.

Fabulously quirky setting and delicious bespoke cookies, with a friendly welcome. Manuela has a “secret” dough which is deliciously different - I would describe it as a superb cross between a cake, a biscuit, and a pizza base. Her cookie additions/toppings are also deliciously different. There is an outside seating area (no inside seats) with breathtaking views, which my wife and I could hardly tear ourselves away from, whilst we ate, drank our coffee, and chatted to the owners. The family dwelling house plus garden in a lovely small village setting has been turned into a fairy glen, with a series of bespoke but similarly designed small fairy outbuildings, each containing a different part of the family business - a bakery, a distillery, Jo’s Pizza place, an outside toilet, and an outside seating area with bar and shopfront for their produce. We went home with cookies, gin, and rum!

My wife and i were staying in Dornie and saw that we could walk to the wee bakery as their website really looked intriguing. It's amazing on the website but even more so in real life. The staff were all so very friendly and took time out to chat about the Bakery/Brewery/Pizza that is there. Such delicious and exciting new food that i hadn't come across before. Great atmosphere. Would recomend if you are local or driving past in the area. My wife bought one of the absinthe available and she can't wait to have an excuse to drink it. Amazing!!

Jarenlang op vakantie in Schotland was het behelpen met het brood. Sinds we Manuela hebben ontdekt zijn we helemaal happy. Heerlijk brood en ook anderen heerlijkheden komen hier uit de oven. Haar brood is ook te koop bij diverse winkeltjes hier in de buurt zoals in Dornie en Reraig. De shortbread die zij bakt is de lekkerste die ik ken.

Wir wurden herzlich empfangen, nach wenigen Sekunden waren wir als deutsche Touristen enttarnt und es ging weiter in deutscher Muttersprache. Wir konnten aus einem Sortiment deutschen Gebäcks wählen, das mit Vertrautem aufwartet aber auch zu Neuem ermutigt. Auch die frische Pizza (nach Vorbestellung) aus dem zuckersüßen Hexenhaus war fein und das kleine Wee House ist kultverdächtig.Empfehlung: Beim Besuch von Eilean Donan Castle mit einplanen - ca. 1 km :)

Cette boulangerie est à découvrir! Les pains et gâteaux sont variés et ceux que nous avons pu tester étaient très bons (ainsi que les "pizzas" et les bretzels au bacon....). De plus, l'accueil y est très sympathique!

La wee bakery de Manuela fût une belle découverte de notre séjour, à 500 mètres de notre location de vacances. Des pains incroyablement variés pour une si petite boutique, des pâtisseries parfaites pour le petit déj, des pizzas bien différentes de ce que l'on peut avoir l'habitude de manger mais néanmoins délicieuses. Les propriétaires sont charmants, souriants, accueillants, un vrai plaisir!
