Hi, we have been going to the Handi since the first day it opened, I ordered a takeaway 8/12/24 to be delivered, we received our meal which was 15 mins late, it was just luke warm, the starters were very disappointing we had Chicken pakora which usually comes in quite large pieces but this time it was thin pieces and very dry, the veg pakora was okay but there was a lot of oil in the tray, we had chicken tikka masala for our main but it was not a patch on our last order, all in all this was very disappointing, I just hope that it gets back up to speed. Thanks

We love to pop into the Lamlash Bay hotel for dinner! The whole team is always so accommodating, it's never any issue booking a table for when we want and the new kids menu is a winner! The make your own pizza option always wins with our little one (and us adults too) and when we visited last week our lovely waitress who's name I've yet to catch (blonde) caught onto my little ones name and was calling her by name for the rest of the night. We love the chef's specials menu and it's always so evident that the menu really focuses on keeping dishes as local as possible. The Arran Gold and Raspberry Crème Brûlée is amazing!

Stopped here for lunch on Saturday afternoon. We drove past it twice as it’s set back from the road and we missed the sign outside. The staff were welcoming and friendly. I ordered the salmon from the specials and my husband had them steak and ale pie. Both were delicious and really good portions.

We dropped in on about 4pm for a coffee and a scone. The coffee was ok. The crunchy scones, £4.50 each, were about the size of a regular tangerine, served with a sliver of butter and a teaspoonful of jam. None of the staff was attentive. They were too busy cleaning the cafe before closing time. I guess the Scottish Deli thrives thanks to the volume of through traffic. I would certainly not give the Scottish Deli my custom again.

I've tried Friend of Mine twice now and I won't be rushing a third time. Service was bland and basic, no check in half way through meal. Food took 35 minutes which yes it's fresh and tasted lovely but not worth the wait. Quite pricey for a burger then to add on the fries, which were frozen and not real, I guess that's how meals go now.
