Went there for tea. The Yorkshire puddings were not nice. They were unedible, the puddings were home made and we're most unpleasant. I never write negative reviews but more work is required here to make this establishment a better place to eat. Looking forward to getting this comment removed.

I've been in here to eat and it's lovely! however we got home delivery last night.. over £50! 😩 for 2 curries, a rice, chips, 2 nans and chicken pakora. Can honestly say the only thing we enjoyed was the pakora. The curries were very bland with barley any flavour, the nan's were very dohy, even the chips wernt great. Pakora was lovely though ☺️🙌🏻. Sorry but won't be ordering again, overpriced, small portions and poor quality 🙁

We visited this restaurant as it’s the only restaurant in town.I should add we also ate at the cobbles, fire & salt (twice) , the Schloss & the waggon. The restaurant must have 60 covers & the tables are crammed in. Unfortunately for us we were seated in the middle with everyone pushing past us . The food was average , very 1990s . My venison main course whilst nicely cooked was such a small portion I could see more plate than food & was definitely hungry at the end. My lyonnaise potato was the smallest portion that could be cut without it collapsing. Plain boiled veg. The sticky toffee pudding was the same, looked very pretty but tiny. If you want to treat yourself & you’re in tbe area save your money & go the Schloss or eat in one of the pubs.

What a bummer. Having done tons of research trying to find some vegan options for my trip, we’d been looking forward to breakfast at Glasvegan for months. I double checked the hours and both Facebook and Google stated they opened at 9am, Google even said the hours were confirmed by phone a few weeks prior. When we showed up, the place was closed & dark - no sign on the door, no post on their social media (and no website). Another traveller showed up around the same time and was also disappointed to see the dark restaurant. After looking into some news articles, it sounds like their inconsistent opening times was a blessing in disguise. Head chef up and quit, employee complains against owners, treatment and working conditions, and steadily declining food reviews. Good riddance I guess. They haven’t even responded to my inquires on their social media sites.
