The best restaurants in South Eastern NI

An incredible chippy; the best I’ve experienced in Belfast. There isn’t a weak dish on the menu - the quality of ingredients is outstanding. The burgers, in particular, are restaurant quality. Nothing feels stodgy or soaked in grease like they do in many other places. Staff are lovely and the ordering process modern and hassle free.

Very nice pizza and salads. Coctails wee bit different we expected but ok 😉.

I never get a bad meal in the salt house. I always try new and different things on the menu and it is always top class and top class service by ally and all the waiting staff really service with a smile and nothing is ever a bother. Eating everything from steak to sea foods and vegetarian dishes the food is absolutely beautiful lovely warm sea side atmosphere in the restaurant. Definitely give this place a go and prices are so reasonable.

Good Food and service. Went for Sunday lunch and the food was tasty. 3 courses for £28.95. The kids also enjoyed their food, 2 course for £10.95. The staff are also so nice and allowed us to move table. Will definitely be back!

Excellent battered cod fish, light and crispy. The battered mushrooms were great. Nice to have choices of various dips. The best fish so far in Ards!

If you’re looking for a brunch spot that combines excellent food, a great atmosphere, and friendly service, the place is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!!!

Called in and had a latte and a fruit square. The latte tasted absolutely beautiful, not too strong, just nicely balanced. The fruit square was spot on also. Lovely place, wishing The Goose every success, will definitely be back again.

A warm and welcoming bar, with good food and excellent service. Certainly one of the best bars in Bangor.

My first time visiting here. Had a lovely breakfast at a good price. The food was delicious! Glad to see they have redecorated the interiors, although still felt a little canteeny. Really nice little place, I’d visit again!

I can’t thank the manager and staff in Hedley’s, enough. About two weeks ago my sister and I called into the restaurant. She was not feeling well, and the manager and in particular, a very kind and caring Lithuanian waitress, did everything possible to make her comfortable. Such kindness and care. They were amazing. My sister recovered quickly- and it was due to the care of the staff. Thank you again.

Good variety. Listed opening hours need amended as on a few occasions I have dandered down for a fish supper only to find the place closed although Google has it listed as open until 8pm

Top quality fresh and flavoursome food.

Lovely food, took a while to get our food but it was very busy on this day as it's very popular. I would recommend it as the food was lovely.

Top drawer sarnies! Staff always so smiley and helpful. It’s not cheap, but you’re paying for quality AND quality. Definitely the best in Bangor. Go! Go now!
