The best restaurants in Northern Ireland

This place used to be the best in Derry and now possibly the worst, I think they are living on their past reputation, what ever cheap muck meat they are now using in the black bean is barely identifiable as beef, Chicken Chinese style used to be top notch now uneatable, if they changed chef recently they need to sack him again. He is clueless .

Food is cold, even when getting a delivery it is ALWAYS wrong (mostly short). It is a total embarassment to McDonalds and whoever is in management needs to be swapped out for someone better !!!!!!

This is the worst place I’ve dined in ever in my life ! There is no way that those chefs are qualified wouldn’t give the food to a dog and that's me being nice. The service was spot on from the waiting staff but as for the food taste and presentation was brutal .

The staff was rude and cheeky, the way how gave my change and the way how she respond towards to customer. When you work in a public be polite as you can be, no need to be rude if you having a bad day at work. Kfc is a busy everyday weekdays and weekends, expect the unexpected customers will come to your restaurant. We need a proper good customer service and for today wasn't a good day for me. I was disappointed and upset because the attitude of the staff. She needs to be more train and tell her how to be served a customer. We are customer are your most valuable gold in your business. Without customer your business will nothing. Be nice and be kind..

Ordered on Just Eat and what they sent me (very late} was rubbish and cold All the chips were tiny scrapings . It was just awful !!!!

Esperamos casi 1 hora para nuestra red. Mucho personal esperando en turnos y parados en la zona de labranza pero no debe haber nadie coordinándolos. Personal diferente en nuestra mesa cada vez y tuvimos que conseguir la atención del personal pasando por encima de nosotros para conseguir nuevos pedidos de bebidas. La comida estaba bien / promedio. Chips no grandes. La chica de la caja al final fue grosera. Por ninguna razón. No volveremos aquí de nuevo. Solía ser mucho mejor en todos los sentidos. Fecha de estancia: Julio de 2024

Tried to order online but wouldn't work so went walked down to shop. Have ordered many times when in Bangor with no issue as recently as a few months ago. This evening at 6pm placed my order with girl on counter, went to pay, the girl wouldn't take cash ( which I always paid with), told her I didn't have a card she just repeated we don't take cash. Another customer lost.

This Mauds has always been somewhere I'd avoid, but I was in a rush and it was the closest cafe. Thinking "how badly can they mess a crepé up?", I gave it another shot. Expecting something fresh (as they used to serve here), I was horrified to see the disinterested staff member shove a pre-made crepé into a tiny air-fryer. After a lengthy wait (longer than it takes to make a fresh crepé), I was treated to a cold, hard cone of disappointment, remembering it cost £6 with each bite taken. No napkins or cutlery were provided, nor was it made clear where to get them. The layout of this place is terrible. Ice cream, crepes, churros, and some cold drinks seem to be served from the front, while hot drinks and sandwiches can be bought from a counter at the back. There's very few tables, and combined with the dirtiness and exclusive use of paper plates and plastic cutlery, you wonder why they don't operate purely as a takeaway. This "café" is an embarrassment to Mauds and customers visiting who may have been to other Cafe Mauds like those in Belfast will be bitterly disappointed. I can't stress this enough, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. Please don't be tempted by its great location, walk to one of the many other great cafés in Portrush. Babushka, Follow Coast, Ocean Deli, My Pie and Ground are all amazing spots for brunch nearby. Milk Parlour and Morelli's are excellent for ice cream.

The chips were very tasty and a decent quantity. However the chicken fillet burger consisted more of crispy batter than actual chicken. I thought I was going to break my teeth with the amount of crispy batter or else have a heart attack. Amazing chips but let down by the batter. I paid a whooping £10.50 for my chips and battered chicken fillet. I would like to point out however that the business was amazingly clean and spotless and someone was wiping the benches when I was getting served.

they took my money alright but sadly the food never came! contacted to get a response as to why a week ago heard nothing , no apology , no replacement order , no refund , stole my money and ignoring all contact which has left me to leave a review here to see if they will wake up and answer! i have a video doorbell no driver ever came to my door with food ........... bunch of robbing b*******s

No es la primera vez que hago un pedido para nuestro negocio y nunca hemos tenido ningún problema antes. Hemos sido sus clientes durante muchos años. Esta es la primera vez que acabé en una situación realmente desagradable. 5 / 09 / 24 Hice un pedido a las 7. 30 pm y lo estaba esperando como de costumbre. El conductor me llamó y me dijo que estaba afuera, pero le dije que no lo vi en las cámaras (podemos ver toda la calle aquí y nunca fue un problema para sus conductores estacionar frente a nuestras instalaciones), así que colgó. Luego me llamó de nuevo diciendo que estaba estacionado afuera, pero de nuevo, no sé a dónde fue, ya que no estaba al lado de nuestras instalaciones. Traté de explicarle dónde estamos, pero él comenzó a discutir y me dijo “¿Vienes a buscar esta orden o qué?” Le dije “necesito esta orden, pero no puedo salir sin saber dónde estás, buscándote”, así que colgó. Volví a la tienda en Lisburn Road, desde la que siempre hago pedidos y pude hablar con Kristina. Dijo que enviará un conductor diferente ya que este regresó a la tienda con nuestro pedido. Así que dije que está bien, y lo esperaré y una vez más nadie vino. Como mencioné antes podemos ver toda la calle y solo estaba mi coche aparcado. Así que la llamé y me dijo que el conductor estaba afuera cuando no estaba. Fue realmente frustrante, ya que he ordenado a mi negocio antes, muchas veces y no habíamos tenido ningún problema como este. Llamé a su tienda local por tercera vez y Kristina se negó a darme su número de oficina central y canceló nuestro pedido. También me colgó dos veces. Así que esto terminó muy feo. Con este servicio de atención al cliente que recibimos hoy no me siento feliz de volver a pedirles mi negocio. A nadie le gusta ser tratado de esta manera

I booked this hotel two months ago for a Christmas meal for my family, 10 persons in total. On arrival we were warmly greeted by a staff member. I had to pay for all before entering the dining room which I found strange. We made our way to our table and the first thing noticeable were the dirty stained chairs. If I hadn't already paid and it being Christmas, we would have left. We were all having three courses so up we went for the starters. Only thing left, soup, and not a lot of it. It was okay but the only item there as the salads were non existent. Next main course. What an absolute disgrace. The meat was so dry and overcooked, especially the beef, it wasn't even good enough to sole your shoe. The veg, just mush. I asked for some ham, you it's kind of traditional with a Christmas dinner, and was told there was non left. Unbelievable. Then went to sit down and saw the staff then remove all the main course food. So no chance, even if you wanted to, to get some more food Then onto the sweets. Menu delivered on paper, wrinkled and stained showing some puddings, but no Christmas pudding. Called staff over and asked was it available, yes of course. Then why not put it on the menu Complained to staff about everything. No real sorrys, and definitely no reduction on our bill which because half of it was unateable, would have been correct. Finished, glad to leave, and not one food service member in sight. An absolute disgrace that they offered us food of such an appalling quality and thought that that was acceptable. Avoid at all costs. Ten of us will never set foot in the place again, even though it's only three minutes from my door. In fact I'm going to tell as many people as possible about our fantastic day. Well done to the Bushtown for those memories at Christmas.

Acabo de visitar Domino’s con mi hija ( 9 ) que estaba muy emocionada de pedir para sí misma, a veces puede ser un poco tímida! Lamento decir que no recibí el nombre del señor que nos sirvió, pero sí dijo que había estado trabajando allí durante muchos años y que era fantástico. Él fue más allá por el pedido, y tenemos una chica muy satisfecha con su comida! Todo estaba delicioso, un ambiente tan agradable mientras estábamos esperando, y el servicio era honestamente insuperable. Un placer absoluto haber llamado, y una muy Feliz Navidad a todo el personal hoy. ¡Muchas gracias de los dos! Saludos, Seaneen y Eva.

¡No podemos agradecer a Pizza Co. lo suficiente por su increíble generosidad en apoyar Sew Ready Camp! Cuando otra compañía canceló inesperadamente en nosotros, Pizza Co. salvó el día proporcionando pizzas y guarniciones en el último minuto. Con 24 niños hambrientos esperando ansiosamente el almuerzo, su amabilidad y disposición para ayudar significó todo para nosotros. A todos les encantó la deliciosa comida, y realmente hizo el último día del campamento extra especial. ¡Gracias, Pizza Co, por ser una compañía que se preocupa por la comunidad y por ayudar a hacer de este campamento un día para recordar!

Big mistake fish batter on one side was soggy and not much fish. Chips were anaemic and soggy. Go to Clarence instead
