Nice Sunday lunch- have eaten here a few times and really enjoyed it. Sunday lunch was very substantial and tasty. My only problem was that there were 3 dogs in the bar- 1 running around without a lead. I like dogs but I don’t want them running around when food is being served- I also witnessed one of the waitresses petting the dog- I do hope she washed her hands afterwards- but I didn’t see that happening. There is a good outdoor area at this bar- surely people who want to bring their dogs could be restricted to there?

Post House is a fantastic spot in Belfast for an evening out for drinks & or food. Last night was only for drinks, but the pints of Guinness very impressive and hospitality could not be more welcoming. Paulinha and team as always in great form and very knowledgeable in recommending different local gins, cocktails and could not be more accommodating. Paulinha provided the food menu for our next visit and very impressive. Many thanks to Paulinha for a great night and look forward to our next visit, very soon.

Of course mistakes happen, and usually it’s no big deal. It is the mark of an establishment how they deal with them. We visited as a family of 5, to celebrate my daughter’s graduation. When presented with the bill, it was evident that we had been substantially overcharged (it had been rung in twice, resulting in a bill of almost £400 for 5 people). When we requested to speak to the manageress, we were met with indifference at best, but what could also have been described as misplaced arrogance, defensive to the point of almost aggressiveness. No apology whatsoever. Would definitely put me off returning. Basic customer service training sadly lacking. As for the food, it was grand, but nothing special.

There are much better places to eat in Belfast. Waiting 30 mins for dessert only to find order not placed. Food was OK but nothing special for the price. Waited for mains also. Latte was very small and bitter. To be fair the only charged me for mains and not drinks. Next time it's into town with better options and better customer focus.

Popped in for drinks as it was a sunny day and wanted to sit outside on terrace. Drinks disappointing. Large glass of wine was only 175ml & aperol was so diluted with ice, hardly any Prosecco and soda. Very weak but still cocktail prices. You’re paying for the refurbishment without decent drinks! Went to use toilets but somebody had unfortunately left in awful state and no loo roll in any. Clearly no checks done as place was empty. Won’t be back because of this experience.

Brought my mum and dad and kids for a bit of dinner and a couple of drinks. Was VERY VERY difficult to get service , drinks or food ! To make matters worse the manageress buggered off home and left the 2 girls by themselves! Waited 10/15 every time for drink/cocktail . VERY DISAPPOINTED! Probably just head to The Chelsea from now on .. sad 😔

Very expensive for not a lot of food, tasteless food. Seemed good but was given a hand full of chips and 4 small chicken tenders that had no flavour, and was £11.65. There a chipy round the corner that’s 10 times better and cheaper. Just thought I’d give this one a go but would give to my dog. Also it’s really hard to find on google or justeat (takeaway) seems to be the name.

First time in the “ Post House” yesterday to watch Premier League football. Great atmosphere, friendly efficient staff. The food looked great and we will have food on our next visit. Downside for me was the Guinness was just ok but will definitely visit again. Lovely Bar/ restaurant

We were pretty unimpressed by our lunch. The pints of Guinness were just ok, not creamy or overly fresh. The menu stated that the mains had sides and then you could add a side of your choice alongside. Which isn't actually the case. My main was 19.50 for a pretty small size Guinness pie. The meat in pies like this are usually cheap cuts or meat, so not sure why they are charging almost steak prices. For a pie and chips at lunch time 20 quid all but 50p is excessive. My husband's burger was the same size as the children portions and my side of Parmesan fries had a frozen taste to them, despite being covered in a strong parmesan cheese they really didn't taste right. The service was just ok, a bit slow. We wouldn't come back here as none of us enjoyed our meals. Disappointing!

Well designed bar, very aesthetically pleasing as you walk in, unfortunately the bar staff are not very friendly and at times very rude, especially management. I will not be back

Met friends for lunch on Tuesday. The starter and main courses were all really nice. The wine is reasonably priced, as are the gins. There is also a good selection of gins to choose from. Our service was first class. The young man that took our order and served our food was friendly and efficient, and he kept checking to see if we needed more drinks. A relaxing afternoon was had by all.

Well , bring your own plate. Starbucks are happy to charge you the earth for a breakfast croissant. Pop it in a microwave until is is limper than a limp thing and shove it in a bag. Take it out if the bag .... no it's stuck to it and as I try to eat it ,it disintegrates and becomes one with the bag. I asked for a plate (sit in restaurant- not too much to expect) sorry we don't have plates was the reply. Asked the manager and he told me ah we are takeaway. A takeaway that has lots of tables and lots of things that you would eat probably from a plate. Is it just me ? No attempt to recognise that my food had turned into a bag napkin cheese and mushroom croissant . 8.00 well spent for the comedic value alone. My tip , pack a plate or in fact pack your own croissant. .
