Canteen in Belfast

La mejor tostada francesa en Belfast y más allá. ¡La mermelada de tocino también es irreal! Definitivamente volveré de nuevo. Personal genial y ambientado también!

Las papas fritas eran delgadas y grasientas, el pollo era absolutamente terrible, pedían miel caliente y simplemente vertían miel de una botella y cuando les pregunté si era miel caliente dijeron que sí, a pesar de que miro con mis propios dos ojos que lo vierte directamente de una botella, el peor pollo y papas fritas que he tenido no lo recomiendo.

El servicio es impactante... el menú sucio está marcado con manchas y donde estábamos sentados estaba sucio. Mesa sin limpiar. Las superficies a nuestro lado, incluyendo los zócalos estaban llenos de telarañas y restos de comida. No me pareció que el personal le importaba, ya que había comida caliente en el pase y 2 del personal sentado charlando! La comida estaba fría y simplemente abrumadora... aparentemente ese día el gerente de Slims Kitchen estaba allí para supervisar las cosas... ¡bueno, fue un desastre total!

El mejor aguacate en masa madre que he probado. El desayuno bap también era genial. Grandes cafés, buena selección de opciones de pastel dulce también. Bonito ambiente.

What has happened canteen? It used to be a favourite of mine but haven’t been in a while and thought I’d check it out today. The place is a mess, not properly cleaned. It’s a free for all, cafe floors not managed, customers don’t know whether to go up and order or wait to be served. The food…its just not there same as it was, the grilled cheese sandwiches used to be the best around but now they are just thrown together and not properly cooked. Coffee was okay but the flat white was too foamy. The coffee was the best of a bad bunch. Sorry for being harsh but it seems like whoever is in charge is either not there or bluffing. Really sad to see it in such a state and I hope this is post is read and taken seriously and I can go back again soon.
