Never been here before as it is very near where I live and hard to justify the expense when I could eat/drink at home. However, with my daughter working from home, we decided to walk down and get some lunch just for a change of scene in her lunch break.
We waited in the cafe whilst it was made. Very nice atmosphere. Loved the crafty things on the walls that you could buy.
Ordered some food to take out. However, after leaving, we discovered one of the orders was wrong. This didn't present a big issue was it was a melt rather than a baguette and although it wasn't my first choice, it was nice.
The other items we had bought were correct and tasty.
I would go again, although perhaps for coffee and cakes rather than the mains.
Highly recommend this independent cafe for good coffee, delicious food and a friendly welcome. We chose different options (banana French toast, smoked salmon & cream cheese toast, and avocado, prosciutto & egg toast.) We really enjoyed our food and all rated our choices as 5 out of 5!
We visited hubbles after seeing the positive reviews however our experience wasn't positive when we arrived the restaurant was packed we ordered breakfast and was told 30-45 minutes wait I ordered a black coffee for my fiancee and noticed they gave her instant coffee even though they had nice coffee machines. (She said it was foul) an hour and 10 later our breakfast arrived and it was luke warm at best by the time I had finished it was stone cold. Both disappointed to say the least
Came here a couple of times for lunch when we were staying here having not tried it on our previous visits - what a mistake to have missed out before! Food was quickly ready and so flavoursome - great combinations and very very fresh. We definitely be back again next time.
A super friendly and inclusive craft beer bar, offering 18 taps of incredible craft beer - some brewed by Radio City Beer Works themselves, and others brought in or imported by other incredible breweries! The bar also offer locally distilled spirits, a great selection of wines and ciders too!
A small bar which utilises the space incredibly, manages to pull off some brilliant live music shows of various genres, as well as a huge variety of other events.
100% worth checking out and spending some time trying an incredible selection of drinks, enjoying the forever rock playlist and soaking up the lovely vibes.
Keep doing what you're doing, guys!
Our first visit to Rathlin Island and of course we availed of The Hungry Seal! The food was absolutely amazing, we were in chippy heaven. The chips are probably the best I've ever had and the battered sausages to die for! The other half had the haddock supper and claimed it was the best he's ever had. Decent portions, the price is up there but not much different than your average chippy to be fair. The girls were lovely and had the food ready in good time. We would take a trip back to the island just for another feed at the Hungry Seal lol 10/10 for us!

Appears to have closed for a period. New signage, name and fascia are now in place but not sure what it is going to reopen as or whether the same people still involved.
We visited for a late lunch today and , as usual , was most impressed by , The , food and the proprietors .
My partner chose a Prawn Salad , and I chose a Beef Pie , made on the premises by one of the owners .
The pie had a Flakey pastry , and was over filled with chunks of beef , plus potatoes and Swede . The accompanying vegetables was Mashed potato , not too much as some potato was in the Pie . Plus Kale , drizzled with lemon juice and either carrots or peas . I had peas , plus some lovely tasting Gravy .
My Partner chose a Prawn Salad , which was freshly prepared .
An excellent Meal , which we both enjoyed !
Excellent bacon sandwich and coffee. Very friendly efficient service. Clean environment and variety of food very well presented
Compliments to the staff.
