A super friendly and inclusive craft beer bar, offering 18 taps of incredible craft beer - some brewed by Radio City Beer Works themselves, and others brought in or imported by other incredible breweries! The bar also offer locally distilled spirits, a great selection of wines and ciders too! A small bar which utilises the space incredibly, manages to pull off some brilliant live music shows of various genres, as well as a huge variety of other events. 100% worth checking out and spending some time trying an incredible selection of drinks, enjoying the forever rock playlist and soaking up the lovely vibes. Keep doing what you're doing, guys!

Small but perfectly formed, Radio City is only a couple of minutes from the bus and train stations, and more than worth the visit. With 18 craft beers on tap, plus a fridge full of interesting bottles and cans, ciders, wine, spirits, mead, and soft drinks, the choice on offer means there's something for everyone - and the friendly and knowledgeable bar staff are on hand if you need help deciding. The bar is set in two railway arches and has an alternative vibe, but all are welcome. It really lives up to the "social" part of its name, and it's easy to get chatting to new people. Look out for gigs, open mic nights, retro gaming, DJ nights, beer and cheese tastings, and more - it's a very welcome addition to Chelmsford's music and entertainment scene. I'm so glad to have Radio City as my local - it's a real gem, and has rapidly established itself as our favourite bar.

Friendly staff, great atmosphere and fab music. Plus so much beer, you’ll struggle to decide what to have - or end up trying them all! My husband is a huge fan of craft beer so loves it here as they have 18 different beers on tap and 3 fridges full of cans to choose from at any one time. I’m not a fan of craft beer so often find I’m left drinking water, soft drinks or nothing at all when we’ve been to craft beer places before - not here though thankfully, they have a very tasty locally produced pink jam gin available which suits me perfectly. I love that they don’t mind you getting food from outside and bringing it in too - although you may have to pay the pizza tax and share!

18 keg lines of constantly-rotating keg beer. Inhouse options from Radio City brewery. This is their "social" tap-room. No tied listings to major breweries or distribution companies. Permanent taps based on style instead of a brewery (for a change). Unique house theme nights such as metal nights and an imminent Oktoberfest night on Saturday 24th September. A refreshing change in an otherwise very traditional local drinking scene. Looking forward to future events. Metal night is a must.

So good it became my go to bar in Chelmsford after 1 visit when it opened. 18 taps in a friendly taproom with local Radio City Beer Works beer and amazing guest beers from Europe and the US. Also serves wine and spirits if you're visiting with non- beer lovers. A must-visit if you love craft beer with friendly, knowledgable service. Pay homage to Danny.

Radio city social has quickly become my favourite bar in Chelmsford, I will happily go with friends or on my own because the people behind the bar a genuinely really nice people. The beer is always changing from week to week giving you a chance to experience new and exciting beers by the 1/3 ,2/3 or a pint , I have found the atmosphere to be excellent and have always seemed to find someone new to have wired and wonderful conversations with. I highly recommend radio city social to everyone I meet and when my family and friends come to visit me in Chelmsford I always make sure we pop in for a pint or ten.

We visit Central Park café in Chelmsford at least once a week. It’s a perfect stop off for a coffee and a bite to eat as part of our dog walking routine in the park. The food and drink is always top notch, and they have an offer for the doggies too - from puppaccinos to sausage pots - and also bake amazing pupcakes (which I order every year on my doggies birthday as a little treat for her and her furiends). This is a really special place. It has such a family atmosphere and the staff are always so friendly.

This cafe was so lovely! From the beautiful decor to the fab service, me and my mum were so impressed! We were both served quickly- we had toasties and a hot drink each, which tasted delicious, and the plates that the food was served on had a lovely flowery design. Also, the toilets were clean and nicely decorated.

Fantastic pre booked afternoon tea of cakes and sandwiches with plain scones . Originally booked for 4 people but extra person came as well and as we had let them know the day before it was sorted out fine. The food was lovely and so much for £12.95 a head. Service was excellent and very efficient. Would definitely book again.

Visited this coffee bar with high expectations due to its 4.9-star rating but left very disappointed. I arrived at 9:30 a.m. for a quick coffee but was ignored by two staff members who were too busy chatting and laughing to notice customers. After finally catching their attention to place an order, I paid £3.90 for my coffee and took a seat. Despite the bar being nearly empty with only five other patrons, we waited patiently for over 10 minutes while the staff continued chatting. When I approached the counter to inquire about the delay, they admitted to having forgotten our order because the ticket "wasn't printed." They refunded me in cash, but by then, my husband no longer had time to enjoy the coffee. Adding to the disappointment, the tables were dirty, and the seating was uncomfortable. This was the worst customer service I've experienced in years, and it’s baffling how this place has such high ratings. I won’t be returning.
