Ankara Grill Turkish Cuisine in Waverley

Appears to have closed for a period. New signage, name and fascia are now in place but not sure what it is going to reopen as or whether the same people still involved.

Very generous and tasty food, very welcoming and friendly. Lots to choose from, and really was delicious. Will return!

Fairly small restaurant with inside and outdoor seating, located not far from Sainsburys supermarket. Good service from a friendly welcoming team. Excellent range of authentic dishes, some familiar to those who regularly eat Indian or Turkish food, but some more unusual. Good range of vegetarian food too. Also do take-aways.

This represents a few visits. On the outside this looks like a Kebab shop but the owners are Pakistani with experience of cooking Afghan food as well as Pakistani curries, all of which is reflected on the menus and fresh naan breads and home made kebabs are part of the lineup. They are a lovely friendly bunch, the food is good and prices very reasonable indeed.

I cannot tell you how got this place is, unbelievable food, amazing staff and so passionate about authentic Turkish food, so so much more though! The menu is vast, so much choice. I haven't tried everything, but give me time. Honestly...Best new restaurant in Cranleigh by a mile, eat in or takeaway. Give it a go!!

What an amazing place to eat. Ordered a box of donner meat to take away, which wasn’t on the menu, but the chef looked after me ! My friend and I were also blessed with a cup of herbal tea each which was super refreshing whilst waiting for the takeaway. Will be back soon to say hello to the friendly staff and eat some more lovely food !

Eaten here a couple of times now. Brilliant kebabs served on Naan, which is a great idea. Would thoroughly recommend!!!

Lovely place to eat or grab a takeaway. Food is excellent and the family are so friendly and amazing with our children. Would highly recommend.

Myself and a friend came to eat at Ankara Grill towards the end of January for a late afternoon bite. The food was great, with good prices and you could tell it was freshly made with good ingredients. I cannot fault it, with the staff being very attentive and friendly. I will definitely be coming back and recommending this to my friends.
