Slow delivery, prawns burnt and chewy, onion bhajis oily and cold.

They use only name "Indian and Rajsthan" but staff and chef are "Bangladeshi" no Indian Taste... Money Waste.... Poor service and taste

What a memorable night with a few of my friend’s food was spot on and the atmosphere was just right. Will be joining again can’t wait to try many more dishes. I had a few dishes but my favourite was the lamb kohri with the garlic chilli naan. Thanks guys will come again.

Amazing food! The butter chicken was delicious and so was the chicken balti. Garlic naan was great and complicated all the curry well!

I ordered a takeaway last night and the food was terrible. So bad I threw most of it away. The Pasanda Lamb had so little lamb and tasted nothing of lamb!! The Garlic naan had no garlic and was think and soggy. I was a major fan. Dissapointed.

Food delivered 2 hours late, called to check where the food was was hung up on, no change despite having to pay cash, wrong tikka masala

Popped in to this place last night to order 6 takeaway meals costing £96, the place wasn't busy, however, it still took a good hour to get the meals. I can truly say these were the worst meals we have ever had the displeasure to taste, most of it swimming in ponds of oil, even the poppadom's had a nasty taste of oil. Not sure if a one off but certainly not visiting this place again.

I had the best Indian food I've ever had at The Rajasthan Restaurant . The lamb korai was so flavourful and spicy, and the garlic chilli naan was the perfect combination. The naan was soft and fluffy, and the garlic and chilli were just the right amount of spice. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Indian meal. Thanks once again to this wonderful experience with my work colleagues. See you guys soon

Unfriendly staff, crack a smile when smiled at. Food not cooked well at all, onions not cooked well in a signature dish (supposed to be caramelised but were almost raw). Ice cream straight out the freezer should be left to stand a couple of minutes to soften not given like an ice block. Not up to par for sure

Terrible service. Ordered food at 6:30, didn’t arrive until 9:15 despite Just Eat saying it had been delivered at about 8:15! Last time we ordered it took over 2 hours as well, but we just thought once was a mishap - but judging by other reviews, looks like this place is completely disorganised and probably accepting way more orders than they can handle. No point bothering to order, you’ll be disappointed by the service. Not to mention the back and forth with them. The app says it’s sent, 15 minutes later we phone to check what’s going on, they say it’s still in the restaurant, we say we’ll come to collect instead, get there and they say they’ve just sent it because we apparently told them to send it, we get home, it’s not there, we phone, they say it’s still in the restaurant again! They need to sort their communication out.

This is our local, we've been using them for 14m now and the last couple of times have been truly exceptional taste/flavour wise. Have dined in twice, ordered online many more times, never a problem or anything we didn't like, really impressive, would happily take entire family for their Sunday buffet to see how that is. Personally we love the mixed starter, dhansak, bhuna, special rice, tikka masala,but are going to try the goan fish curry and some others next time!! 😋

This used to be my favourite restaurant for take-away Indian food. Last night three of us ordered a Friday night treat. One dish was very greasy, one was watery and mine (vegetable dhansak) had only potatoes, onions and a very few chickpeas, though it was nice and spicy. My son's choice had not been included, though he was charged for it, so we went back to collect it. When it came it was burnt!!! Not the enjoyable meal that we were all looking forward to. Such a shame that standards have been allowed to drop so far.

Rajasthan is simply the best Indian food in England. They are improving delivery. Food this good deserves acclaim and support. Go Raj.

Although the food was good the order we placed with my family was a disaster. The staff were nothing but rude and ignorant when they forgot a child's meal. Over the phone they tried to shout us down and tell us we were wrong. Truly disappointed and can adamantly say we will not he using them again nor recommending them at all. The staff could definitely take a lesson in customer service to say the least! If I could of given zero for service and atmosphere I would of.

Ordered takeaway online. Apparently the order didn’t go through, or only part of it. Took an hour waiting in queue, never again. The food wasn’t a that nice either.

10/10 restaurant very nice atmosphere of music and food. Would recommend to get butter chicken with garlic naan that was so delicious and fresh. The food is delivered with hot plates which I found nice as the food complimented the dish. At the end I tried out a unique dessert which was coconut ice cream in a coconut which I found cool. Will be definitely returning with friends and family. Thank you for the nice food will be seeing you guys again.

Absolutely disgusted by this so called restaurant, saw oil being removed grom there kirchens. The contractors spilt used cooking oil on the public path way. Leaving a local resident and business owner to clean himself as they would not take responsibility.

This was first visit and was delightfully surprised at the flavours of the food. Very good would definitely come again.

Booked a table for 8 people seating at 7pm on a Saturday, did not get our food until 9pm due to the owner trying to run the entire restaurant on his own due to staff shortages. Still running online takeaway and walk in service alongside which resulted in the extremely slow service. On a positive, the food was great when it eventually came but we shall not rush back there anytime soon....dissappointing for all concerned.

I used to order regularly from here at least twice a week. However, the recent conversation that I had with one of the ladies that takes order was pretty very rude.I had ordered two main dishes which when delivered were not what I ordered. And when I called back I was simply asked to not order again. So please do not order from here.

I had the lamb jalfrezi, I can honestly say, was the best. The lamb was very tender and the sauce bursting with delicious flavours. The service was excellent, very attentive and welcoming. Will definitely go back. Highly recommend.

Ordered take away and found a SNAIL IN THE CURRY! Not from the outside packaging but actually inside the food whilst we were eating. After being accused of lying about this (there is no way that this could have happened and they will have to check the cameras) the manager called to apologise and find out what had happened, she offered me a refund and a free take away or meal for two in the restaurant - I will obviously not be eating from this establishment and almost a month later have still not received my promised refund. They did come back to the address to collect the uneaten meal including the snail which I found odd - perhaps to hide the evidence? I also had some strange phone calls immediately after calling them to complain which when I picked up when to a voicemail system then after hanging up would automatically call back again - this again made me suspicious of what they could have just done with my telephone number. Either way I was served something potentially pathogenic that I absolutely did not order and did not receive my refund. The manager said that they have just renovated the restaurant/kitchens but I am concerned about their storage and how genuine/honest they are as a business. Terrible experience, unable to eat their contaminated food, completely ruined our evening. Avoid.

We have lived in the area for 11 years and in the past this has been a bit hot and miss. The current owners and staff are amazing and the food has been great the last couple of years, recommend vegetarian food here and especially banquet night!

Love this local Indian restaurant, have sat in and used the takeaway service. The owners are lovely, go out of their way to make your evening a positive one. The food is deeeelish! The sharing starter really nice- keema Kebab my fave 😋 Tikka masala out of this world,but if you like something spicy the Dansak was lovely too. Well worth a try!!

We have eaten here a few times and really enjoy the food. The chefs specials are excellent and a bit different than the usual Indian restaurant menu.

We had another fantastic meal at The Rajasthan this week. It really is home from home. Cosy, comfortable and absolutely excellent home cooked food. Nothing is too much trouble and we always receive a very warm welcome. Kay is a wonderful proprietor, so attentive and generous. We have tried several curry houses in the surrounding area and this is by far the best......

Staff was quite helpful there. Ladies were lovely as they were looking after my 8 month old daughter whilei enjoy the lovely food. The only thing missing was the ambient as it can be updated but food was amazing 👏 😋 ❤️

Really think this restaurant offers a very wide range of quality curries. Never been disappointed . So lucky it is very local to us and we visit weekly.

We went to this restaurant as it has been good in the past. Sadly the meal was dreadful. Having waited an age to order despite few tables being occupied there were errors at each course. Wrong dishes delivered to the table. Having to wait for,...

I went in to the store, and asked to use the toilet (to wash my hands) the guy said the man behind the counter said the toilet is broken and the flush doesn’t work, he has to manually flush it so he won’t even let his customers use it and meanwhile a customer walks straight into the toilet and then I said “but they’re using the toilet” and he said “no , it’s only for customers” and then the lady ‘K’ apparently the owner of the shop came and said “we don’t let anyone use the toilet, company policy” and was saying she’s the owner of the store and she ‘doesn’t care’ that the waiter lied about the toilet. All I wanted to do was wash my hands after a long day at work and order food

I absolutely adore this place! They give marvelous dishes, their menu is very nice !The cook in that restaurant is a real pro, I love very much trying all their food. The food is always fresh, their attitude towards the clients is very good too....

Very unimpressed with food quality. The sauce for the Chicken Korma was so sweet it was sickly. A couple of family members, including myself, complained of upset stomachs after visiting. Chicken Tandoori was apparently very nice. Probably will not return willingly.

We ordered a takeaway from Just Eat tonight. The full menu doesn't seem to be available for a start. Delivery was on time, and the food tasted pretty good but one dish was wrong and we had a chicken tikka masala rather than the ordered lamb.

Very friendly. We had the Garlic Chilli Chicken and Lamb Naga. Both really good, haven’t been in ages, we’ll be return soon after this experience.

I ordered on just eat the food came cold they didn't have the drink with the order and when I asked for them to bring my drink they took 30 minutes after the order arrived and argued with me about weather they should bring my drink ASAP.

Took my family and parents. Daughter couldn't eat Chicken Tikka starter as chicken had a strange texture and not very nice. Took over 1hr 15 to get our mains. Not a great night for the Raj!!

This is my favourite Indian restaurant and I'm so pleased it is local. There are some unusual curries on the menu, and they are all very flavoursome. Special thanks to the team for hosting my leaving do. They made us all very welcome and the extra decorations were a lovely personal touch. Came with my family as I was entering the university of Surrey as a first year student, food was amazing and the service was super friendly and the chef complied with all of my mother's demands. Beautiful place yet surprisingly empty, give this place a chance.

We keep revisiting as it's always been good. This time the service was a bit slow as there was someone missing in the kitchen. All the food was great and plentiful as usual!

Very quick and efficient service, me and my friend had takeaway. The Korma was delicious and very sweet..too sweet in fact, my friend who's had lamb korma many times from other restaurants in the past wasn't able to finish her course as she started to have an upset stomach. After sitting for a few minutes she was then sick for a solid 10 minutes! I too had an uncomfortable feeling in my stomach afterwards.

Whilst having afternoon tea at The Watts Gallery we decided we would have an Indian Take Away for dinner. used Trip Adviser to find out what was in the area and The Rajasthan came up as an option, drove the 2 miles to check it...

Nothing to complain about. The food was so good, hot and tasty! The restaurant was quite empty which was sad. I had tandoori half chicken with vindaloo spice and a palak bhaji. Both were delicious. Looking forward to my next visit already!

We ordered a takeaway at 18:30 and told it would be 45 mins.3 phone calls, and told it had been delivered no food in sight. Staff argued about a refund I insisted on. This is the 3rd disappointment in as many months . Never again...

I have been receiving unwanted texts from this company since May last year and when I kindly asked to take me off the list multiple times, I was repeatedly ignored! Please make sure when ordering online to not sign up to text notifications!

As an existing customer I received an email offering a free samosa with an order that night. I ordered online and jokingly included "Don't forget the free samosa". The samosa didn't arrive so I sent an email saying that I thought it was wrong to offer an inducement and then completely ignore it. They had done this previously with a promised bottle of Cobra! I received no response so, a few days later,emailed to ask if i could expect a response. This was a month ago now and I've had nothing. What prompted me to bother sending this was that I've had another "offer" from them today. I won't be taking it up. To be honest, the food is decent so I'm disappointed but if they can't afford me the courtesy of a response, I can find other places as good or better.

This has been my favourite curry house in the area for a number of years now, having eaten at all the others in Godalming and pretty much all the others in Guildford and the surrounding villages. The food is always of a consistently high standard and I can’t remember ever being disappointed with any dishes I’ve had, however busy they are. I tend to do ‘takeaway’ the most so I can enjoy a beer while I wait and I know the food will be piping hot and so haven’t experienced any delivery problems like some negative reviews mention on here. A personal favourite is their Naga curry. Kingfisher on tap is a bonus too.

What a little gem this place is. Great curries in a relaxed atmosphere serving up one of the best naan breads I’ve eaten in a long time. It’s easy to see why it’s so popular with the locals.
