A very welcome addition to the local restaurant scene. A new chef in recent months has made it even better. The mains are great but it’s also the little things like the poppadoms and the naan breads. Very charming staff, too.

Popped in for a meal between Christmas and new year and we’re really impressed great food and good value, so decided to go back but unfortunately this time was disappointing as service was very slow and prices seem to have increased without any notice of a price increase. We waited 45 mins for our meal because the takeaway service seems to take preference, food was still of a good standard but when we got the bill it seemed to be substantially more than what we paid at Christmas and we actually ordered less this time. Gutted because this is our favourite Indian go to restaurant which we have been using for over 30 years.

It was my first time here on a whim with a friend. The food was absolutely lovely, such a nice, quiet atmosphere, I would highly recommend for a friendly quiet meal.

Every time we order from Maya the food is always exceptional, flavourful, fresh, delicious and always piping hot. The staff are so friendly and welcoming every single time. Genuinely a superb Indian Restaurant/Takeaway that I would highly recommend to anyone.

Was recommended a couple of specialist lamb dishes by owner Mr Tarek. They were delicious, meat perfectly cooked and generous portions for two hungry men. We will be back with the whole family young and old. Thank you Robert and Stuart Ellis

Me and my family visited Maya Cuisine and the food was delicious! Truly had the mothers touch with cooking and the staff were lovely. Would recommend Maya Cuisine. The variety in the menu was great and the staff recommendations were spot on. The mixed starter was the best 😋

I’m person of Asian heritage and can confirm the food is about as authentic you can get. Delicious, it’s not like the usual high street curry house. The street food is their forte and their naan breads are perfect 👌🏽

A lovely local restaurant in Bramley! It is clear the owner/manager is very passionate about the food, and the storytelling that runs parallel adds to the overall Maya experience. The food was good, hot and well portioned.

A group of 6 of us went for supper on Saturday evening. It was absolutely fantastic, served with a smile and very good value. Will definitely go again!

We went to Maya cuisine bramley Friday night for dinner as a table of 4. We live in near bramley but haven’t been for a number of years. However, the place is so different to how we remember. It’s really lovely and done out beautifully. The service was great, very friendly and efficient. The wine - we had a couple bottles of wine was delicious as well as the draught Cobra. The food was no less than outstanding. Our friends thoroughly enjoyed their dinners. I had the railway curry - I love a curry and this is probably one of the best curries I’ve ever had. Just the right amount of spice, heat and the flavour was just beautiful. Meat was tender and melt in the mouth. It’s so lovely to see a local business doing so well and it is thoroughly deserved. We will definitely be making our visits a very regular occurrence from here on in. Thank you to all of you for all your hard work, we had such a lovely evening.

Disappointing. We made a delivery order from this restaurant as we recently moved to the area. But unfortunately their food wasn’t good enough. Railway lamb curry was tasteless, watery and only 4 pieces of meat . Never gonna order again !Bad choice (

Just had a curry with several friends at Maya. I have to say it was one of the best I've had in years. As a foodie, I like to sample several items on the menu and all were outstanding. Yay!! 😋😋 So good we now have a proper curry house in the village 😊

Heavily jetlagged, I checked in at the hotel next door and walked into this restaurant. Situated in a nice old building. Greeted by the staff with a smile. I ordered a biryani and a praratha bread. The biryani bowl came wrapped in a thin nan bread. Very fresh and it came with a small curry. I was brought a warmed up plate. Nice flavour and the curry, while a small portion, was flavourful. Music was too loud. At the end, I was brought a hot towel. Nice touch. As in all curry places, overpriced

It was an amazing dinner I had today in Maya cousin. Maya cousin celebrated our anniversary by doing outstanding service, food as well as atmosphere. There are plenty types of food which attracted us a lot. We choosed Chicken dansak and chicken tikka, popcorndal, Polaw rice, Amma samosa and Taste of India special. We also had papadam. We have finished with Gulab jamun. All dishes were delicious and tasty, we didn’t disappoint. It's a best anniversary night.

We visited last night and had a lovely meal. Staff curry, fish bhuna, biryani, korma with different starters and sides, all freshly cooked and delicious. Attentive service and a relaxed ambience in the restaurant. Nice touches of personal memories help to create this. We will return.

I found out about Maya from a menu posted through our front door. The menu is very different to our local restaurants, and it made me interested in trying it out. Visited early Friday evening and was not disappointed. Hearty portions, distinct cooking style with balanced spices and flavours, very reasonable prices & friendly service - happy to have a new restaurant on our favourites list.

Delicious food and excellent service! We order for delivery at least once a week, it's by far the best in the area. The deliveries are always on time and the meals travel well. The care and attention of a family-run business make a big difference, highly recommend.

Very happy to see this place in the small village of Bramley. Though I would not recommend the vegetable biryani which was a bit lacking in flavour, the rest of the food was really good - in particular the Chaat Puri starter. Service was very friendly and the restaurant in general had a nice relaxed atmosphere.

I had an takeaway order from Maya last night. I was a bit dubious about the place but the service and quality of food I received is amazing. My order arrived on time hot and in good packaging. All of the dishes were delicious. Tandoori dishes were moisture locked inside the meat and not too dry. Curry dishes were felt like hot but did not linger in my mouth for long to give intolerable impression. I would definitely recommend the place as food and service was great.

Lovely venue. Low ceiling in a really old building. As far as could see everything looked clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Had pappadams with a great selection of chutneys onions. For starters I had Lamb Tikka. Little disappointed. Was a little bland and a bit chewy. Was it cooked in a tandoori oven? Next had Lamb Korma, mushroom rice and onion bahjis. Rice and the bahjis were fine. However the Lamb Korma was all sauce and only counted 4 pieces of lamb. The sauce was not what I expected. Had this dish many times and this one certainly tasted nothing like previous ones I have had in the past. Something wasn't quite right. Overall, the venue and staff were great. However the food was disappointing 5 out of 10 for me.

My partner and I had a takeaway curry for the first time a couple of days ago and were really impressed. We normally order from Ashuka. The Chicken Tikka Dhansak was 10/10. The tandoori chicken was cooked perfectly, naan was delicious and so were the veggie sides. Our takeaway was delivered within 30 mins of ordering and the gentleman who dropped it off was so friendly. Would definitely recommend ordering from here.

Probably the best Indian food I've ever had. Moist, falling apart meat in very well balanced sauces - not too spicy. Great service, owner very personable and a chef from Brick Lane apparently. It's just delicious.

Everything was absolutely perfect all in all was 10/10 I give. The service, the friendly staff all were absolutely wonderful and over that food was delectable than expected. Very tasty and hot, good quality food. Also good portion for the price. Staff was so perfect they came oftenly and was making sure we were okay. Great hotel and food. Returned to this location under new ownership with experience. A very big change for the better. New name and new menu. Curry was so fresh and tasty and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Will come here instead of driving into Godalming in future. Highly Recommend.

We really enjoy coming to this place. We are regular customers, a family of six and the plates are always cleared. The food is cut above the standard. And the new menu is really interesting and authentic. It’s cooked with a lot of care and well presented.

From the hand painted menu covers to the amazing food my experience at Maya Cuisine was second to none. The menu is full of dishes that all sound amazing and nothing we tried disappointed. I highly recommend you give this restaurant a try.

Not been for years, so we went back to try again, is a lovely, cosy little place, my food could have been hotter but overall good food, we ordered pompadoms seemed bit dry, we not say anything but few mins later waiter returned & brought new plateful saying he tht 1st lot not good enough! 2nd lot were better. Nam bread very nice &hot. Ordered tea & coffee was v bitter (poss instant?) no cream until we asked, we had to get his & his colleague's attention yet when there were no other customers they were attentive, family came in with young lad they knew yet his family & staff (incl manager) let him run around restaurant/go near other customers trying to enjoy meal/chat, they need to make sure customers behave & not encroach on others, this is a restaurant not a carvery! Overall a fairly good experience, just a few issues they need to sort, we would return
