The chips were alright though a bit soaked in fat, the fish was nice but the batter was disgusting thick mush. At £11.30 it's well over priced too.

Very rude Barmaid towards myself and four friends on Saturday night 2 November,when she gave us the wrong drink with our order .All 5 of us were shocked with her attitude when she was asked politely to correct the mistake.Only when l got back to the table did l realise she had charged me £29.65 gor 5 drinks all costing around 5.20. My friends decided not to make an issue to avoid a continuation of her aggressive response.Description on the barmaid shortish ,Stout, with Halloween makeup on.Pity because the pub surround very pleasant

Everything about this hotel is fabulous...location, decor, food and service.

As a family of 5, we visited Pickering during half term. We read great things about Figaros so decided to book a table for dinner. We are all so glad we did, we couldn't fault any aspect of our meal. We were also amazed at the reasonable prices when compared to our local Italian restaurants in Leicestershire. Booking seems to be essential, we watched at least 10 people get turned away without a booking.

Honestly, some of the best pub grub I've had! I had the steak and ale pie, and it was absolutely massive!! And the chips were fresh, thick and crispy. Its dog friendly and they have good quality treats to buy. I look forward to going again.

We had such a lovely night tonight at Sapore. The food and service was excellent and we all felt no obligation to leave a tip but we did! The staff were very smart and polite and thoroughly deserved to be recognised. The food was lush! Didnt wait long to be served and came out hot!!! Very reasonably priced too. Would say that it was very loud at times but that wasnt the restaurants fault. It was other diners who thought it was ok to be loud and raucous while other people were out enjoying a meal! Well worth a visit and we will be back. Thank u for a fabulous evening.

Absolutely 5* I can't believe we've not been here. 15 years old this year. Such good food. Tapas to die for. Flavours and combinations of amazing ingredients that surprised and delighted us. I love limes! The best pork belly ribs I've ever had. Due in large part to chef's stunning homemade barbecue sauce. Ask him how he made it! Be sure to have their green beans (perotos verdes). Soooo good. Waiter & chef available to guide whilst exuding passion and warmth for their food and guests.

Lovely atmosphere as soon as we walked in. Food was delicious. Staff were friendly and smiley. Well worth a visit. We’ll be back.

We have just had the most amazing afternoon tea. It was incredible and delicious. We were overwhelmed with the food and the thoughtfulness of the staff. It was wonderful, Thank you so much.

My wife and myself went for lunch she had the seafood pancake I had ham hock terrine followed by fillet steak sandwich yummy

Absolute little gem of a chippy, we were so happy to get our food served in paper, not in a box, it so adds to the smell and flavour of the fish n chips which were fantasic, also got a naked sausage which has to be the best in the country, if ya up Yeadon and the tarn, defo drop in, far superior to the other big fish n chip restuarant that up there and a lot better price. Defo gunna bob in the next time we are up there.

I was staying in a hotel nearby and thought I would try out this chippy...bare in mind this has been taken over just in the last few weeks...I ordered a small fish meal it was the worst meal I have ever had the Fish & Chips where so bland and had no taste what a waste of money avoid this place as the guy can't cook . ..
