The best restaurants in Addlebrough Richmondshire Yorkshire and The Humber

Fabulous tea room and home cooked food. We ate in and bought scones and pies to take out. The ladies were really friendly too. Well worth a visit!

Visited for breakfast and could not fault a thing. The sandwich was excellent with everything cooked to perfection. The service was quick and the staff very friendly and polite. We took away some of their cakes for later and we were not disappointed, they were really good.

I am gonna be honest, I was soooo happy to see this coffee shop because I really needed to go to the toilet, because in the national park it is hard to find a toilet and I was surprised that they are there (I visited a few national parks, and there is not a single bar or coffee shop in miles) so very happy to find then. And second, the lady was so nice, very friendly. Me and my brother order jack potato and I am telling you, it was a quality plate, (I love jack potato so I may sound exaggerated haha) simple but really nice. Also I took a piece of cake and was delicious. Beautiful place, beautiful views, I was in love!

Wow, what an amazing little cafe this is. Called in for lunch after walking the falls and so glad we did. Best bacon and sausage sandwich I have had and my wife said the homemade soup was the nicest she has had in a long time, all very hot and ample portion size. The tray bakes were just gorgeous. What a find this place was.

We stayed in the Kariega room and we were so pleased. Private hot tub with a gorgeous view of the river and the room was delightful. Not far from Aysgarth Falls . Definitely worth a visit if you stay at Yorebridge. I could go on and on about how fab this place is. Love it !

The pretty village of Askrigg has many attractions, including great pubs like the Crown. We were staying nearby in the village and, while our itinerary and the pub’s opening times (they’re closed on Monday and Wednesday) meant we didn’t get to dine here, we were really impressed by the warm welcome, friendly atmosphere and great beer. The food we saw coming out of the kitchen also looked fab (a couple on the next table said they’d driven 60 miles for Sunday lunch) so we’re definitely going back for more when next in the area.

You have to visit, do not drie by without stopping and experiencing this Inn. We were amazed at the menu choices and quality of the food and service second to none. Great Family friendly restaurant and pub full of character and friendly staff.

Opens early for papers and such a handy shop. Parking quite handy. Askrigg is fortunate to have such a local shop

We stopped here for a late breakfast today the food was delicious and the staff and service excellent. The large breakfast was excellent value and the halloumi burger was cooked to perfection. The cafe was warm and very dog friendly

Food was amazing, service was super quick. All staff friendly and helpful. Views are absolutely stunning and a small walk to the falls. Definitely a must if out this way

Friendy service and lovely food . The red cabbage served with the steak pie was a unique taste and very very nice . A nice atmosphere and a great place to spend a few hours.

Verrrrrry slow service and I'm so sad to write that my sister had a long dark hair in her fish cake. They brought our food out over an hour later and then still didn't bring out the 1 year olds kids meal until after we'd got ours. Sorry to say I wouldn't come here for food again.

Lovely little country pub with a unique history and a great atmosphere. Oh, and an outstanding pint of Old Peculier! Very dog friendly.

This food is outstanding We stayed at middle house last year and we had b&b so breakfast was 10/10 we went back on Friday night we tried to book rooms but they were full but we did have evening meal and it was outstanding so we've booked to go back for another stay happy days
