Was much quieter music wise than expected from the Headley Verity. Easy to have a good chat with friends over a drink.

Visited TGIF for a drink, they had 2for1 option/offer which runs all day.. Buy one cocktail and get 2(same), we went for a long island ice tea, it was good but not that strong, for some reason in UK the alcohol percentage is lower in cocktails as compared to Mumbai. Nice big place, but not much crowd even on a Saturday night. They were prepping up for Halloween, hope the event lites up the place..

Really handy for a night in the city centre

Amazing venue, Allan was amazing so knowledgeable and amazing atmosphere will be back just for him!

Had such a lovely meal here today! I chose the chicken and prawn wok fried noodles and the lemongrass meatbalIs. The meatballs were some of the best I’ve ever had - so flavourful and airy! I would like to especially mention the excellent service from Maddie and Flo (I hope I’m spelling their names right haha) who helped me pick out my meal and were so friendly and patient despite my many questions haha. Compra un cóctel y consigue 2 (igual) , fuimos por un té helado de isla larga, estaba bueno pero no tan fuerte, por alguna razón en Reino Unido el porcentaje de alcohol es menor en cócteles en comparación con Bombay. Bonito lugar grande, pero no mucha gente incluso en un sábado por la noche. Se estaban preparando para Halloween, espero que el evento ilumine el lugar. .

Monday 26th June 2023 This leeds real ale pub is an absolute unspoilt gem which besides having a plethora of real ales well kept at that also has small unspoilt snugs playe live and on tape excellent rock music Great clientele and a great outdoor drinking area at the front of the pub An essential visit when in Leeds Saturday 26th April 2025 Today, we again came for a pint in this many roomed old fashioned /once a Jhon Smiths house/ there were 8 hand pumped ales on a propper locals pub, which is live music orientated. This great staffed well run locals pub with a great outside drinking area This pub, when drinking real ales in this city is an essential pub to drink in

Shocking treatment from the doormen. Telling people who are perfectly fine and sober that they can't enter because they 'they have had too much to drink'. If this was my business I wouldn't be happy with them turning away money because they want a seemingly young and female clientele. Always the same two doormen that refuse entry and having spent alot of money in this casino I will take my business elsewhere in future.

Recuerdo estar emocionado de visitar este restaurante cuando abrió por primera vez. Era domingo, y a pesar de haber reservado, tuvimos que esperar una mesa, porque el lugar estaba lleno. Los pasteles parecían caros, pero estaban deliciosos. Esa fue sin duda mi mejor experiencia en esta sucursal de Pieminister. He comido aquí unas 20 veces en total, y con los años, a pesar de mis esperanzas de lo contrario, mis experiencias han empeorado. Cuando leí algunas de las críticas positivas, estoy muy sorprendido, porque he tenido algunas experiencias horribles en este restaurante, después de que se derramara bebidas sobre mí dos veces. Y hace mucho tiempo que no como bien aquí. Me encantan los pasteles Pieminister, son deliciosos, con algunas buenas opciones veganas, a pesar de que parecen haberse deshecho de mi pastel favorito - Kevin. Pero es mejor que los cocines tú mismo en casa. Francamente, este restaurante es un vertedero, y los baños están sucios. El servicio varía de mediocre a terrible - y me han servido por el gerente al menos 3 veces. Prácticamente no hay condimentos, la comida no es buena, y es muy cara. Usualmente vengo aquí temprano por la noche, a mitad de semana, cuando está tranquilo, y no sé cómo cocinan los pasteles, pero están listos en 5 minutos. Sospecho que están recalentados, porque el relleno está seco, y el pastel es como cartón. ¡No me extraña que tengan cuchillos de carne! Incluso las bebidas pueden ser pobres. No me impresiona su cerveza, y por lo que son, los refrescos son muy caros. £ 4 por 'Cloudy Lemonade' no estaría tan mal, si supiera a algo más que azúcar y productos químicos malos. Sigo intentándolo, esperando que mejore, pero una reseña que acabo de leer aquí es la gota que colma el vaso para mí. Cuando como aquí, son tan perezosos que nunca consigo que traigan la cuenta a la mesa, y mucho menos que me ofrezcan postre. Así que, voy a pagarles a la caja, si puedo encontrar a un miembro del personal, y generalmente les doy propinas, porque imagino que están mal pagados, y soy una criatura de hábito. ¡Nunca me han dicho que hay un cargo por servicio! Así que eso es todo chicos, no voy a volver, sus pasteles (servido aquí) están podridos, y sus precios son una estafa - fuera! Aquí hay un consejo - aprender a cocinar un pastel, y dejar de servir a sus comensales basura! ¡Y dale al lugar una limpieza y un cambio de imagen para llorar a carcajadas! £ 20 por pastel, puré, guisantes, una pequeña porción de salsa y un refresco.

Nice location in Leeds and service was fine

We recently visited the gildersome arms , the staff on bar were really helpful and welcoming then we sat down at our table and then the lady taking the plates to people was really bubbly and even interacted with my kids and she was very friendly I believe her name was Louise

I visited your establishment today and was greeted by rude staff. I made a mistake with my order (my fault) and when I asked about it, I rudely got told it’s what I ordered. After the waitress had gone, I could see and hear her from near the till slagging me off and making insulting remarks about me. I have near been so insulted, humiliated or made to feel so little in a restaurant before. I mean, I couldn’t wait to get out. Under no circumstances would I ever return. For the insults and rude service, I was made to pay a service charge that they wouldn’t remove after I asked. It was the lady in the pink jumper that made the insulting remarks. Looked like a manager. As for the food, felt under cooked and I didn’t dare ask the waitress for it to be changed as I didn’t want to be humiliated again.

There was a big group of my mates out, and this bouncer was incredibly aggressive and rude to us. He refused entry to the first one of us trying to get in claiming she was “too drunk”. Yet the person had not had a single drink yet. When another one of my friends explained this and questioned it, he got very aggressive saying none of us where allowed in because of her answering back. He was stuck up, arrogant, aggressive, racist and Rude. The other bouncers said they was sorry to us and tried to stay out of it as they where apparently “employed by him”. Disgraceful and ruined our night. Because of this I have to rate it 1*. Despite seeing other replies to these poor reviews about the bouncers that the security team arnt apart of your business and are employed by another company, I feel that it is your job to make sure the security team that stand outside your building are respectful people.

Fantástica comida, optó por los nuevos elementos del menú y fueron una sensación sabrosa, bedf brisket gyoza eran deliciosos. Mo merece un saludo por ser particularmente amable y atento en el servicio. Gran experiencia, como siempre con wagamamas. Gracias.
