When I stayed here, it was for a work trip. We all compared how bad our rooms were. The tap water stank like sewage and we had to go out to buy bottled water. Two colleagues rooms stank of smoke. One colleague had weird stains that looked like dampness on the ceiling. The mug in my room was sticky too. It was not a pleasant experience. My room key also didn't work and would take multiple attempts to get in. My only nice comment is I felt the maid was good and tidy and breakfast was ok. But overall not a pleasant stay at this hotel!

I uses Ibis when I just need a basic clean comfortable 1-2 night stay in a city. But in this hotel, at least in my room, that standard has fallen. Shower was leaking, toilet seat was loose, curtains were dirty with stains, so was the kettle. It is just lack of care and attention.

I had low expectations of this 2 star Hotel. They were greatly exceeded! I'd give it 4 stars! Very clean, great service. They even cooked us an excellent pizza to eat inoir room when we arrived back after 11pm! The buffet breakfast was great quality and piping hot, just the way it needs to be! The bacon and sausages were decent quality, not the usual bulk catering mush! They only put a small amount out at a time, meaning it's all very freshly cooked. There's a reasonably priced 24-hour car park over the road. Strangely, no 24 hour tickets, so you need to book twice, once early the next morning. You can pay for parking by phone from anywhere. A bit of a 'chew' to do, but easier second time around.

Definitely being won over to Ibis brand as the helpful staff made an ordinary stay feel a lot better.

It's not called Nazma anymore, it's called Hot Chilli. The food was excellent, service brilliant. Will defo go back and would recommend this place to anyone who likes good Indian food. Really good food and very reasonably priced.

Poor flavorings on each dish" cold food when it arrived was so looking forward to trying new place instead of cooking" I spent a lot of money just for a disappointment. I would not recommend here sorry but no" a very disappointing experience. And wouldn't use here ever again. And been hungry still" even the dog refused to eat the food that's crazy.

It must have been 20 years since I'd been to Nazams. We were in the area and hungry so thought we'd give it a go. 9:30pm Easter Sunday night and the place was empty. 3 Poppadoms, pickle tray, one portion of Onion Bajis (easily enough for 2 and served sizzling hot) 2 curries, pilau rice and the biggest peshawari naan I have ever seen all for £26.55!! They brought us a big bottle of water out so didn't even need to order drinks. Curries were out of this world. Trust me, I know a good curry and these were top notch, I can't remember eating curries as good as this in any restaurant, the meat was lovely and the curries had a real depth of flavour. If Nazams was in Roundhay or Chapel Allerton it would be hailed as a hidden gem. As it is, the locals clearly don't know what they've got on their doorstep as the place should be heaving. Absolutely top notch, we will definitely be back.
