Buen lugar de encuentro para amigos. Visitado para café de la mañana y bollos. Los pasteles, etc son caseros y absolutamente deliciosos. ¡Nuestros bollos acababan de salir del horno! El ambiente es encantador y agradable. El personal siempre tiene tiempo para charlar rápidamente y hacer recomendaciones. Es una verdadera joya oculta.

Tuvimos un pastel de bistec casero increíble con verduras frescas y crema de puré ... todo recién hecho, las porciones eran grandes y llenas, el bistec se derrite en su boca cocinado perfectamente como me gusta. El personal era muy amable y atento y nos hizo sentir tan bienvenidos... Nuestra primera vez aquí y seremos habituales ahora

Booked Tapasya for 6, we were warmly welcomed by the waitress and the owner, the waitress who served us was excellent as she knew about the dishes ,flavours etc, the starters were excellent as were the mains , we had two chicken karhrai dishes, a chicken korma, alloo tikis x 2 ,samosas x 3 , chicken biryani , chicken chettinad , okra dopiaza ,and various rices and assorted naans, freshly cooked beautiful looking honest Indian food , not overpowered with chillis , we all shared our dishes as every dish was just lovely, believe me I know , I’m from India , it was like eating my mums Indian cooking! . We didn’t drink alcohol as we had drinks previously so the whole bill for seven came to £126 , which I thought was amazing value , we tipped 15% as the service from start to finish was excellent . Couldn’t even order any sweet as we were all stuffed !!!. This place is a gem !, don’t believe me ?, try it !, you will not be disappointed . Jay.

Excellent food and very friendly service. Nice range of cocktails. The fish amritsari for the starter was very good as was the chilli paneer. Their Chole Bhatura is easily the best we have had in UK. Try the butter chicken for mains, really nice

Regular user of this cafe. Food generally good, 'home-make pies and quiche very good. Cooked to order.

Robbies (Victoria Hotel, Monkey House) is a traditional Victorian street corner pub. There is a wide choice of beers, larger and cider, but unfortunately, no hand pulled cask conditioned real ales there is John smiths and worthingtons bitter. It's a nice cosy pub and the staff are very friendly and welcoming there is a pool table and TVs.

He estado aquí un par de veces y la comida es absolutamente preciosa. El entrante de albóndigas es delicioso y sabe muy fresco. Los platos de pasta siempre se cocinan perfectamente. Mi favorita es la Tagliatelle Albi. El personal es muy agradable y eficiente y el propietario es muy amable. Cada vez que he estado ha estado ocupado, lo que siempre es una buena señal. Mi única crítica es que el vino vendido por copa es absolutamente horrible. He probado el Pinot Grigio y también el Merlot y ambos para mí son inbebibles. No he probado el vino por botella pero creo que si pudieras cambiar la calidad del vino vendido por copa, para mí tendrías una fórmula ganadora. Volveremos pronto

Thanks for a fantastic night girls. First time I have been but definitely not the last.

I visited when this first opened and once more after and it was fantastic, it had the barbecue grills along one wall with all the prepared meats and veg. However, recently or in the last year or so, it has list its way. The staff are slow to serve and the grill station has been removed. They have opened a fast food take out only a few shops down and I'm not keen on either. The food wasn't all that and I lived in Turkey for 7 years. We were so happy when it opened but won't visit again. Expensive for what it is. Shame.

I have had cj's on a number of occasions and really enjoyed the food but recently we have had terrible experiences of them taking money and not delivering food, and as of recently sending an incorrect order but we're unable to contact them as the number doesn't dial in and you can't get them online or anything so now I'm £30 down and my children are let down.

My ground beef burrito was delicious! Service was fast and friendly. Very convenient to the train station.

Popped in for the first time, great service, fantastic portion in a large breakfast, and another time of my visit, quiet.

Absolute must go to when it comes to Indian food. You are welcomes by a very friendly staff and warmed up plates. ( which is a nice touch ) I had lamb tikka Paneer and it was perfect. The lamb was nicely cooked and tender. Garlic fried rice had punchy fresh garlic which is nice change compared to some usual garlic powder you get somewhere else. Overall the food was delicious and reason why the place has been open for the 20+ years!

Last of the Witham pubs that still feels like it did 20 years ago . Great people
