The best restaurants in Avenue Kingston upon Hull, City of Yorkshire and The Humber

The owner was very rude and uncaring/unprofessional when it came to customer safety, made some of the people very uncomfortable and upset with the way they were treated in certain situations.

Shame I can't give zero stars. Restaurant took the booking, send an email the night before to confirm. We turned up place was well and truly closed and must have been for sometime.

Very lovely experience, the food was delicious, fresh, creamy and hitting all the senses. Had crab cakes that were just perfectly light starter, pork was beautifully cooked and tender in a delicious sauce, and creamy spinach was perfect. Lady who served us was very attentive, I'm sorry we didn't catch her name. Will be back!

Excellent experience at Le Crepier Papin, Newland Avenue, Hull. Its a small French bistro,with fabulous food, bespoke dishes on request, vegatarian friendly. All food cooked from fresh ingredients. In turn, a varied menu selection, lovely atmosphere, candle lite, cosy, short wait for fresh food and friendly French Chef and owner called Joe. He apparently, opened the bistro - thirteen years ago. All food requests are embraced. Also, nice options for deserts too. I will be back soon to sample more dishes, as this is one talented Chef. Furthermore, I ordered the home made, vegatarian burger, in a brioche bun, seasonal ingredients, veggie quorn bacon, brie and wholegrain mustard topping, with a side of seasoned potatoes. I followed this with a Biscofe cake and vanilla icecream and a, liquor amaretto coffee. Absolutely, exceptional!!!

Have to say, this place has some decent food. That's why I came back again. Except this time a single round of tapas took well over 60 minutes... It felt majoritively like we were just left in the corner and ignored, Unfortunately on my birthday, too. For 22.95 + drinks and a 2 hour time limit, it isn't worth it. Have to say I will not be returning.

La comida italiana más deliciosa y auténtica. Tan triste que está cerrado. Espero que se abra pronto. Grandes recuerdos durante unos 7 años con mi esposa e hijo. Este restaurante será muy extrañado, pero permanecerá en mis recuerdos para siempre.

I don't often get to this part of Hull but when I do I always try and get fish and chips from here. The service is second to none and the fish is fried to order. The staff are so friendly and the service is what I would call old school, excellent, keep it up

Recientemente enterré a mi suegra y tuve el velatorio en la avenida (solicitud de la suegra) , el personal era absolutamente fantástico y no podía hacer lo suficiente, la comida era excelente. Hemos estado unas cuantas veces para comidas familiares y la comida siempre ha sido muy buena, recomendaría reservar ya que a veces está ocupado. Ambiente agradable y personal amable.

Great fish n chips , staff very welcoming and friendly food great value for money always plenty , not expensive , suits all pockets

Nothing but the best , a very warm and welcoming small cafe on a well connected business park . Great selection of food and drinks for breakfast or lunch . Amazing friendly staff . The cafe is clean and tidy with an outside seating area perfect for a summer day break time. Vegetarian meals are available. Ample parking.

Without doubt one of the best takeaways in Hull if not the best. There is such a great selection of dishes, something for everyone. It's not the cheapest but it is worth every penny in my opinion
