Nothing but the best , a very warm and welcoming small cafe on a well connected business park . Great selection of food and drinks for breakfast or lunch . Amazing friendly staff . The cafe is clean and tidy with an outside seating area perfect for a summer day break time. Vegetarian meals are available. Ample parking.

Best coronation chicken around. Staff are so friendly. Very clean and a wide variety of food perfect for any occasion. Best cafe not just in our local village but in the area. Highly recommend.

We booked (Via Liz) 16 breakfast sandwiches for early delivery as we were staying at the White Mark farm campsite - Amazing value and well orchestrated by Liz and her team. We'd tried them out before our visit and the boys we took all devoured the wonderful individual sandwiches after a long walk the day before - Credit to the team and much better than any fast food options we could have lazily opted for - Keep up the great work and big plus to independent traders! One of only two places that I’ll happily adjust my working day to grab my lunch at. I drive all over the northern Home Counties Oxon to Beds\ Northants to Herts and am mostly reliant on places close to customers, with space for a lorry, and believe me cafes as good as this one are few and far between . Deb and the girls, I salute you.

Visited today for the first time, what a treat I’ve been missing. It’s tucked away on a business estate which is a shame, that’s why I haven’t visited before. Spoilt for choice once in there. There is a wonderful breakfast menu, my husband had the Builders breakfast which looked lush but was too much for me. I dithered as there was so much to choose from. Next time we will visit to try the lunch menu, can’t wait to go back with friends to show them what we’ve been missing right on our doorstep.

I have visited The Picnic Hamper many times since my review last year. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful to any requests, the food is freshly prepared and very tasty (always with veggie options) and the coffee is good too. Most importantly you can sit in comfort for as long as you want and never feel under pressure to move on. As a freelancer who works from home it is great to have somewhere local to go for a break or lunch where people can be having business meetings as well as friendly chats. Highly recommended.

Based part-time on the business park where The Picinic Hamper is located. Fanatic friendly welcome from the staff. Only tried made-to-order sandwiches so far - always fresh and great value. I'm sure I'll dip in to the hot menu soon! Outside seating available if the weather is fine.. Free WiFi.

I have been to this place several times now, since my friend told me about it. Astonishing to find a local place I was completely unaware of and now go to regularly for a break from work or a catch up with friends. Set on a business park, The Picnic Hamper is ideal for business meetings and indeed almost every time I have been there there have been informal meetings in progress. However they equally welcome local people who fancy a quiet coffee. There is a good selection of hot and cold food, free wifi, comfy seats. I'm glad to have discovered it!

The Picnic Hamper is a great place for hot/cold food, snacks or meals. The staff are incredibly welcoming, the food is all prepared onsite, with a good daily variety. Well run, friendly, and great food!

As cyclist's we have always received a friendly welcome, in a comfortable environment and in the winter, they don't skimp on heating! Situated on the business park, just outside the village, it's easy to find. The food available is varied and you can pick and choose what you want on your plate. If your taking a group, telephone first and I'm sure they'll get some tea cakes in!

The Picnic Hamper is is situated in the Monument Business Park near Chalgrove in Oxfordshire. It has a dining area and a business lounge.The food ranges from snacks such as sandwiches and rolls with many different fillings to full meals. The restaurant also does outside catering for different functions ranging from hog and lamb roasts to childrens parties. Opening hours are between 7:30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. The food is excellent quality. I can definitly recommend it as a stop. The Picnic Hamper is located on the Monument Business Park, in Chalgrove Oxfordshire. Although Chalgrove and the Picnic Hamper has the feel of being in the middle of nowhere, it is only 12 miles outside Oxford and less than 10 minutes from the M40. The food ranges from takeaway sandwiches, salads, hot dishes, plus the excellent all day breakfast that you should not admit to having!!! There is an excellent business lounge area, with leather sofas and free wifi. Have used on many occasions and always found everything really good. Do note that the opening hours are 07.30 to 3.30, if you intend to meet in the afternoon you meeting time may be limited.
