Visited with friends food very good service a bit slow but they were very busy.

Food was fantastic staff very friendly, good prices,our place to go in the town !!

It's a good little cafe but not a lot of room if in a wheelchair and No disabled toilet as toilets are upstairs in cafe.

Excellent little cafe within 5 minutes walk from Hull Interchange. Used it many years ago and it survived Covid 19. Excellent service, excellent choice of foods prepared to order and very reasonable prices. I do believe that there is a seating area upstairs. Walk in choose a table and sit down. Waiter / Waitress service. Pay at till on leaving. Well worth a visit

Lovely staff. Top breakfasts. The most amazing mushrooms. But the lunches are also great if you are in there later.

Love this place. Great service, great food and the staff are always happy to help. Never waiting long for a great breakfast. 6.70 for a double breakfast with tea or coffee. :-)

Best little cafe in the city centre

Black pudding and tea cake was burnt. Barely any milk in the tea. Laughed at, like I was being made fun of, when I asked for the bill. Toast, sausages and bacon okay.

First time going here and will definitely be returning ! They do the most delicious full English breakfasts, and you get a choice of a small, medium and large. We went for the medium and wasn't a miss whatsoever ! Perfect portions and quality ingredients. They also give you a free choice of a coffee and tea which is very cost friendly. 11/10 from us for sure 😊

Went in today and had the lasagne and my mother had the omlette. Absolutely delicious and great service from the staff, will be back soon to try one of their breakfasts.

I walked around Hull until I found an independent cafe. I fancied a jacket potato and it was lush. I had a prawn jacket that came with a lovely side salad. The food was cooked just right and the staff were friendly. If I'm ever up that way again, I will look this cafe up again

We called in here on boxing day as we had some time to kill before the shops opened. I've been here before a few times with work mates when we've been working in the city centre. I went for a full English (my favourite meal ever) and wasn't disappointed. Portion size and quality of ingredients were excellent. The wife had the Turkish breakfast and again, the quality and freshness of ingredients were awesome. Definitely going to pop back again when we can.

Eaten here a few times, each time we come here the food is just as good as it was on the previous visit. The tea and coffee could do with an upgrade as it doesn't taste nice...but apart from that, its a great place to eat. Well done the people that run it :)

I have been to Cafe M many times and is a meeting place for a catch up with freind.

Called in for a mid afternoon cup of tea and was shown to a table by a very friendly staff member. Traditional menu, well priced and 5* hygiene rating - very impressed and will certainly visit again when next in Hull.

This unassuming, even dowdy, cafe serves the best fast food in Hull. Can't say enough good things about it. It's not posh, so don't expect the Ritz but the food is of a high quality with well cooked, generous portions and massive choice plus, you'll be served in under 15 minutes, even at peak times, and get your drinks right away.Three different sized breakfasts cater for various appetites or have a Turkish breakfast if you feel like eating healthily - Olives, Feta, Spiced Meat Pattie, Fried Eggs, Tomatoes & Cucumber plus a warm baguette with honey - gorgeous!There are enormous omelettes stuffed with a variety of fillings with either chips or jackets and salad. The salad isn't your rubbish iceberg/cucumber/tomato combo either, it's good quality mixed salad leaves with red onion, carrots, peppers - you name it - it's in there. Don't fancy a blow-out? There are plenty of sandwiches to choose from - toasties - baguettes - paninis or if you're really going for it, they do a mean Lasagne with all the trimmings.Last time we went in there we had one of the specials - beef stew and dumplings and chicken curry with rice. Both were outstanding and beautifully cooked. The rice had the added touch of chickpeas in it, which I found unusual but they went perfectly with the beautiful, warmly-spiced curry. The beef stew was thick and tasty with tender beef and loads of mini dumplings.Because this is a Turkish-run cafe, and the food is basically English, there is a slight twist to the cooking style which gives it a much better quality and finish than your usual greasy-spoon. No cheap ingredients are used - you can tell that before you even taste the food - salads are top quality and fresh - eggs are bright yellow, denoting free-range rather than battery, chips are thin, crisp and non-greasy.I could rave all day about this place, I love it so much! Give it a go - it doesn't look much from outside but you'll soon be hooked once you try the food.One downer though - it's cash only, so make sure you're carrying, although you won't need much - two breakfasts with tea included won't come to much more than a tenner and if you do forget the cash, the lovely staff will direct you to the nearest mini-bank! Try it once and I guarantee you'll be back for more!

As a regular customer with the wife or friends always good service lovely food and nice atmosphere.
