Great spot for lunch overlooking the sea. Food was delicious and portion sizes were great. Really good tasty value for money and great service that went with it. Will definitely go again if we return to Withernsea.

Ordered a takeaway on 5/4 and was advised 25mins on the booking confirmation. The order took nearly 1hr 30mins. There was no communication to advise the order would be late and also no contact number to ask for an update on the order. My daughter was asleep by the time the food came and that was then wasted. The other meals were only just warm and felt like they'd been stood a while. We always have a fantastic experience with guys, and the food is amazing. This occasion wasn't the case and some constructive criticism is required which I hope they take on board. If we'd have been in a restaurant and the order took that long, we'd have walked out. We couldn't even cancel the order as there was no way of contacting them.

Went for lunch, enjoyed the varied menu. Excellent coffee (with cream), enjoyed scones with clotted cream, apple pie with custard. Very nice, charming staff, popular place. Will go again next time I visit from 🇨🇦.

Booked in for lunch then service from the girls was above and beyond, polite and very helpful they were amazing, sadly there was an incident which was no fault of the waitresses which was dealt with in front of me nothing to do with our service and the owner was so out of order with the way he dealt with it talking down to these young girls was an absolute disgrace he should be ashamed of him self. Thanks to the waitress you were amazing and did a fantastic job . Regards Steve .

We sampled the Christmas dinner menu today. The meal and the service were brilliant. I had the Beef option and my wife had the Turkey pie. Good portions with extra veg if required. Everything was hot, perfectly cooked and very tasty. We will be back! Thank you.

We had festive afternoon tea Greeted with cocktails which were delicious Then we were taken into the main room where all the tables were dressed to perfection Then the food started arriving Oh my goodness it was gorgeous and so plentiful We were offered doggy bags which was a good job

Popped into Withernsea after visiting ‘The Deep’ and decided on here after reading good reviews. And wow it was the nicest fish & chips we have had for a very long time. Just over £30 for 2 large haddock/cod and chips a children’s meal and 2 hot drinks and a juice. The fish was huge, even on my daughter’s children’s meal. The staff was lovely and very attentive too and a welcoming atmosphere. We will be back in the summer.

Nice clean, comfortable room but as it was quite cold at night would have liked some heating. Shower okay but tricky to get right setting . Difficult to dry towels after shower because of lack of heating. Also no breakfast available. Okay for a couple of nights.

Hiden Gem . We had Large Haddock chips and peas x 2. Came to £21.20. the fish was excellent, chips were very good and the mushy peas were the best we have had for a long time. 10 out of 10. Definitely visit again

Discovered this gem while exploring Patrington in September. Menu limited due to Covid restrictions but homemade sausage roll and delicious Baileys cheesecake filled the gap. Local cask ales also available. Would recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Would have given 5 stars if not for the long wait to be acknowledged at the counter. 3 Staff members busy but NO ONE making eye contact or acknowledging us at the counter. After waiting several minutes started to time the wait - over 7 mins without a word or glance from the staff! when we were served, lovely meal, very reasonably priced, Can understand why it's popular.

Food home cooked & very nice but the stew & dumplings needed more taste bit bland. Cakes delicious 😋 not much space as dining rooms lead off each other, lovely staff, will visit again when weather's warmer & sit outside.

I read on Google is was a good chip shop and we were nearby, so we went for fish and chips. The food was excellent, the haddock was tasty, hot and perfectly battered. The two ladies serving were fantastic, worked together as a team, got the orders done, communicated to each customer and kept the queue flowing. The lady serving was very polite and gave a parting "enjoy the rest of your evening". We will definitely be back when in Withernsea again. Thank you.

Friendly pub with good beer at a very reasonably price.
