Seasiders Fish And Chips in East Riding of Yorkshire

Can't go to the seaside without having fish and chips. My wife wanted to eat in as it was a little cool out. What a lovely little place. Served by a lovely lady who shared some fun banter with us. Meal was spot on as well. Thank you. Just wish I could remember the ladies name but hopefully she will see this. Would definitely visit again if we are ever down that way again.

Best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time. Staff were lovely, withernsea is lovely. I will return.

Very delicious Haddock and Chips with the best Curry Sauce I've had in a long while... dealt with my daughter's allergies excellently... the allergy list was available on request and they even cooked her food separately to avoid cross contamination... very friendly server... will definitely visit again

Excellent fish and chip restaurant, really friendly staff who go above and beyond for our little allergy sufferer, the food was excellent, nice portion size, fesh and tasty. They let us have our dog inside and gave him a bowl of water which was wondeful as we do struggle to find indoor eating venues that allow dogs.

The woman who served us friendly and helpful as my Granddaughter suffers from allergies.The food was top notchand cooked in beef dripping which took me back to the 70s when i was a kid.The curry sauce was the best i've had in along time.Nearly forgot to mention the it's dog friendly and that was a big plus for us.

Best fish and chips we have ever had. Crispy light batter,, white firm haddock, crispy fluffy chips washed down with good Yorkshire tea. Excellent customer service. Definitely come back.

The staff could not have been more welcoming. Service was amazing. The food was delicious. The cafe itself is immaculate and full of interesting things to look at. Would definitely recommend.

Visited this town with my daughter. We saw people queuing outside for fish and chips so we assumed it must be good so we sat in and ordered haddock and chips. We really enjoyed it. No faults whatsoever. Friendly staff. Lovely fish, ate the whole lot. Big portions, my daughter had to ask for a takeaway box so we could take ours with us. Lovely place.

Popped in here for a takeaway of fish and chips for 2 adults and one child (and a can each) which cost us £22. The chips were decent, but the fish was wonderful. Perfect batter and cooked so well. Delightful!

We stopped in because it was the closest open one - really glad we did! Cooked to order, absolutely beautiful, really good portions but a bit of a pain to take home because the boxes wouldn't close so we were shedding chips. Seems to be closed for the off-season now, which is a bit disappointing because we'd have been back.

Food was cooked to order, nice chips and fish had crisp but not greasy batter. Pretty decent chip shop near the sea front.

A big thank you to all who served us today (Sunday 1st May) we had a family of 11 and 2 dogs and they couldn't have been more accomidating. It was incredibly busy and still they went out of their way for us to enjoy our food and time. Very very happy and my child actually ate a full meal for once so if that isn't a glowing recommendation I don't know what is!

We called in on Saturday 2nd October for some nice seaside fish and chips at around 4pm . When our meals had been served and the “waitress “ left us we, had no cutlery to eat it with and had to find her to ask for some . The fish was full of grease so much so that it was really not nice at all . We did get a half hearted apology but to be honest the £30 we spent was definitely not worth it and the meal left us all with indigestion for the remainder of the evening. If the fish had been left to drain it may have been better but I think they were just in a rush to get usin and out as quickly as possible. There were two young staff in charge who were so inexperienced it wasn’t worth complaining at the time as it would have been a waste of time. The only thing we wasted was our money and the food left on our plates . We will not be going back any time soon 😢

On a cold, wet day, this was a lovely place for Sunday dinner. The plate was full and the batter beautiful. They even refilled the tea pot! Food and service was faultless. However, we were on a budget and came in on the £7.45 fish and chip offer. We even asked the waitress to confirm the price but on payment we were charged £9.95 and their answer was 'its on the menu' so it was, but isn't that what a special is -not on the menu. Left a bitter taste to what was otherwise a lovely experience. We're not even tourists! Don't irritate the locals!

Loved this place, clean, friendly and the food was so good. The cod was amazing and the cod fish cakes were out of this world, my partner said it was the best fish he had had in a while. We will be visiting again. Even got a stick of rock at the end of the meal. Really cheap and a nice place to sit inside and have your chippy

The welcome was warm and friendly. The social distancing is very clear with handy hand sanitizer as you enter. The waitresses were very friendly, attentive and helpful. The food was delicious. The battered fish was delicious!

Visited today Lovely tasting fresh homemade batter not the donut variety either. Fish patty was just like I was used to as a young lass. Proper fish between sliced potatoes but enough fish to actually taste it. Friendly chatty service and food made to order but Swift service. I can not fault anything. The young man gets a bus all the way from Hull to work here and he is a credit to this establishment. He was very professional and friendly. The frying person was also friendly smiling.We were allowed to eat just inside as it wasn't busy and poor weather although it's a take out just at the moment.and we will definitely be back. When it's open from March to October I visit this place at least twice a week as the fish are the best in the town they are always cooked to order and taste beautiful its brilliant that it has a seating area inside so you have somewhere to sit inside when the weather isn't to good the place is spotlessly clean and the staff always friendly only shame is it is seasonal and doesn't open in winter

Visited this establishment with the family today. The food was fairly standard fish and chips at the seaside however the main reason for the review is the counter staff. Establishments should train their staff on food hygiene when serving and handling food. Two young girls working the counter had absolutely no concept of maintaining hygiene standards. Long hair tied up on top of the head to hang down loosely into food being served is not the way to go. Not washing hands after fiddling with hair is not the way to go. Give them some training and ensure hygiene integrity please.

Went in on a lunch time for Pattie and chips Pattie was just eatable the chips were left over from a previous fry and as this was mid summer and during the with fest there's no excuse.

A great place to visit for fish and chips by the sea or there is a nice seating if you want to sit in.

After ordering food and drink, paying for it, it appeared expensive so I asked how much the bottles of pop were to be told 'ya don't have to buy them! My food was then put in front of me to find there was something on the same tray as my chips and battered sausage so I queried this. I was told it was a 'patty'. I hadn't ordered a patty, I have never heard of a patty to be told by the staff yes you did order it. Whatever happened to the customer is always right. Why would I order something I have never heard of. The lady who was stood behind heard what I ordered and it was not a patty. The staff were downright rude so I requested my money back. Myself and family went to a pub down the street and had a perfect meal.

Pleasant service, cooked fresh and at a good price... don't need anymore from a good English Chippy.

Although service was a little slow, they could ask people coming in if they wanted fish, it was well worth the wait. Will go here again....
