The best restaurants in Torne Valley Doncaster Yorkshire and The Humber

Adore this place, food is always amazing.

This is a cute coffee shop, based in the lovely village of Tickhill. First time dining here, we were looking for a breakfast/brunch spot and decided to try H's cafe... Bright, clean, nice decor, inviting cafe. Staff were friendly, polite and smiled, which is sooooo important. We have visited many places where the staff look miserable. We only had basic breakfast of toast, however, the bread was rustic and unlike the cheap sliced bread you can find in other coffee shops. The lattes were lovely, we drink lattes all the time and know a good one from bad, these were perfect. Overall a really nice experience, we will definitely visit this place again for breakfast. Just a FYI for anyone wishing to try this place, w/c 15/7/24 the cafe was currently having some refurbishments and was closed. We are looking forward to dining there again when it reopens, if it hasn't already.

Leaving this review after trying multiple times and this is our new favourite Chinese. We live a little out of way but delivery always in a good time frame, anything ordered and we do try new things on occasions, are always perfectly prepared, hot and tastes amazing. Honestly couldn't recommend enough. Great Chinese takeaway! 👌

“ Truly A Hidden Gem” Absolutely incredible food and fantastic service. My friend Mark recommended a while ago and since then we are here nearly in every week. Nothing a problem, they make your meal exactly how you like, just ask! Best curry house in Doncaster. By a country mile for me. Love it. Had a takeaway tonight and yet again perfection. Thanks chaps. I have been coming to this restaurant for over 25 yrs and it has always had a great reputation but the last couple of times we have been everything has gone downhill, the food not sure what’s happened but the staff are new and are disappointing, really puts me off going back when spending so much money and everything is below standard.

They had a Gluten free menu, however it was very limited and was all main courses, no sandwiches or lunchtime treats. Bit disappointed.

Love this family run restaurant. All the staff are so friendly and I’ve the years we’ve got to know them and have a good laugh and chat each time we go. Food as always is amazing. Knowledgeable and helpful and match dishes to suit your likes. Always a pleasure to visit.

Know idea never been there at all

Ordered food. Got half way through and found what looked to be a pube hanging out of my pizza burger. Stopped eating it straight away. Moved it to the right of my plate as you can see. Disgusting!!
