If you like cold Yorkshire puddings, smash potatoes, mushy green beans and being accused of stealing your meal as the chef was too busy flirting with the female bar staff to acknowledge you. Give it a go.

Went with family for a birthday, my son got the wrong the wrong burger meal it was my sister in-laws, there was only 1 bottle of rose wine , no ice deserts was poor they only had 1 piece of jam pudding, 1 piece chocolate cake so ordered what they did have they forgot about 2 of the deserts so when we finally got the other 2 everyone had finished eating, no 1 came to our table to collect the glasses we ended up putting some on the bar ourselves . The toilets were shocking 2 toilets I had a loose seat and dirt on floor the other 1 had no light, the hand dryer didn't work so they left blue roll on the side , very disappointing and would not return

Had a lovely lunch at the Scawsby Mill today. There were 12 of us and the food came quickly and was absolutely delicious. Staff are warm and friendly, and the manager was fantastic at helping us surprise my husband with a birthday cake. Fully recommend.

Preciosas patatas fritas caseras y guisantes mushy. Enormes trozos de carne tierna. Gran porción. Pub necesita una actualización. Alfombra muy anticuada de los años 70. El esquema de color necesita un cambio. Extraño olor a humedad al entrar. Un montón de aparcamiento

Este es un pequeño salón de té encantador con comida muy sabrosa. Sólo hemos comido bocadillos y pasteles, pero todos han estado deliciosos. El personal es muy amable. Es un gran lugar para detenerse cuando se utiliza el A 1 M - la única desventaja es que no siempre hay mesas disponibles debido a su popularidad. La tienda de la granja es fantástico también, y es difícil de visitar sin comprar algo!

The talented chef produced wonderful food, as always. Debbie & her staff were lovely and attentive as ever. Why this place is closing at Christmas is beyond me, it is a jewel in Doncasters crown. Thank you for lots of wonderful memories over the years.

Called in for something to eat at the Market Kitchen of Khao Niew Thai in Barnsley town centre where Khao Niew Thai have an outlet in the Market Kitchen and I been there back in about June 2023 time last year where I tired Thai food for the 1st time and it is very impressed this food and I had the Thai spring rolls and it tasted amazing and it is a quick service as well and I think Khao Niew Thai is an great place as well.

Great experience in this place. Reasonably priced for the portion sizes. Our boy loved the American pancakes with syrup. Sausage sandwich & toasted tea cake also very good. Coffee very nice indeed. Lovely staff & nice atmosphere. Definitely recommend!

Food is amazing , cooked perfect & big portions, Staff are absolutley amazing, clean, well spoken, Spotless clean (the only place i dont wipe cutlery before eating ) Perfect place for a romantic night out 🥰

La comida era deliciosa y el pub en sí muy acogedor y limpio. Tuvimos un tiempo encantador hasta que llegó a la factura. Habíamos reservado, pagado depósitos y enviado pedidos anticipados para 4 personas. Sin embargo, debido a circunstancias imprevistas, un miembro del partido no pudo venir y no lo supimos hasta que llegamos allí. Se lo dijimos al personal tan pronto como nos enteramos para que pudieran tomar su comida de la lista. Nos dijeron que no era un problema. Los entrantes llegaron pero los míos llegaron tarde y solo cuando lo pedí. A una de mis amigas tampoco se le preguntó si quería una bebida, solo logró pedir una cuando la camarera finalmente llevó mi entrante a la mesa. Cuando se trataba de pudín, solo el mío salió y mi amiga de nuevo tuvo que pedir el suyo, ya que no parecía estar en camino. La mesa no estaba preparada para postres a pesar de que dos de nosotros preordenamos uno cada uno. Cuando recibimos la factura encontramos que el plato fuerte para nuestro amigo ausente todavía estaba en ella. Pedí que me lo quitaran y me dijeron que no podía ser como ya se había cocinado, aunque no se sacó. Pensé que para eso era el depósito. Así que lo pagamos pero nunca lo recibimos. Nos dijeron que deberíamos haberles avisado tan pronto como supiéramos que nuestro amigo no vendría. Habíamos hecho eso y nos habían dicho que no era un problema. Sin embargo, lo que realmente no me gustó, y la razón por la que me siento obligado a dejar esta reseña, es el juicio que la barman emitió sobre mi amiga ausente, diciendo que fue ella quien nos había decepcionado. Ella no había decepcionado a nadie y no creo que el personal de un pub deba juzgar a los clientes, especialmente cuando nadie sabía la situación completa. Es por esta razón y su falta de voluntad para acomodarse, junto con el servicio de mala calidad que no volveré.
