11 of us from Manor Laceby played at HGC,. Everyone agreed it was an excellent day out .The course was stunning and hospitality was superb. If you haven't played this course,then put it on your bucket list. We are all coming back next season Pete Owen.

Group of us had a day out golfing here and what a hidden gem the course is outstanding absolutely beautiful I’ve played a lot of courses this year and the clubhouse is the warmest welcome we’ve had anywhere in the country such wonderful staff from the bar the kitchen and the pro shop outstanding definitely coming back thank you

Great day at Hickleton today. Course is in great condition considering we had torrential rain before we played. Facilities are excellent and were made to feel welcome by all. Good food after the golf rounded off a super day out

We played at Hickleton GC today in the seniors open. The event was very well organised, everyone was friendly and everything we needed to know was explained very well. The course itself was in immaculate condition, please pass on my thanks to the greens staff, I would say it was the best conditioned course I have played this year. Thankyou very much, we will definitely be back next year. WELL DONE HICKLETON !

Great course, first time here didn't play well, have to go back and have another go, more expensive than other local courses, but worth the money, a really interesting 1st hole.

I have had a really good few rounds out here, Great course, Great management and great facilities. Conditions are always fantastic as well. Up there with the best in surrounding area. Would recommend to anyone.

Really disappointing that the green fees now seem to reflect a course that no longer represents vfm. £35 per round midweek in an area surrounded by some highly deprived communities does nothing to promote the game and shed it's elitist image. There is clearly delusions of grandeur or arrogance or shear brass neck at play. For that price I would expect a pretty immaculate course, which it certainly wasn't. Wouldn't mind so much if it had decent drainage! Won't be rushing back, at that price. Equally as good courses in the area for less money.

Great golf club ....visited a number of times . Always give a warm welcome 😊 Course is fantastic ....a real favourite ...better than some of the best courses in France, Spain,Madeira! Sunday Carvery. We had never been before and were not sure what to expect. The food was delicious with huge portions at such a reasonable price. The Service from both the waitresses and the head chef was fantastic, attentive and not intrusive. Food is served in a well lit spacious dining room. More fine dining than carvery with silver service waitresses. You order and pay for drinks at the bar and the carvery was cash only on the day we were there. £8.95 for the carvery... choice of beef ,turkey & stuffing, pork or gammon served with dauphinous cheesy mash, roast potatoes, ample veg and a huge Yorkshire pudding with oodles of homemade gravy. We also had prawn cocktail to start (choice of 4 starters) ...2 courses £10.50 and pudding - 3 choices... I had lemon meringue cheesecake and ice cream. To die for... £3 course £12. Won't be going anywhere else for Sunday lunch out any time soon. Just wonderful. Thanks

The way that the pro shop conducted it send is shocking poor people who work at this course is letting it down nice course bad staff

Really enjoyed my day awhile since I played the course due to COVID Really made a few changes with pathways and winter tee's Credit to the Groundstaff well done

Just played this course wuth our society, we weren't told the greens had been hollow tyned and sanded. No offer of any discount first and last visit.

We played in their mixed open. We were in Yorkshire for 4 days and played in 3 mixed opens and I have to say although they were all well organised, this one stood out as exceptional. Very welcoming, great food before we started and at the halfway house (halfway house provided complimentary tea, juice, sandwiches and brownies) We didn’t play as well as we would of hoped but the course was in superb condition and we had a great day out at Hickleton GC. Thankyou!

Fantastic course in incredible condition, hilly and challenging and some stunning holes.

Went here for Sunday lunch. They serve a carvery from 12 to 4. There was beef, pork, turkey and gammon. Lots of really fresh vegetables which were cooked perfectly. Stuffing, gravy and condiments. All this for £8.95!! It was the best carvery we have ever tasted.

This is second visit. Very pleasant club house and facilities. Lovely staff. Course pretty long and challenging as quite hilly at times, but enjoyed it very much.

Fantastic Sunday lunch as always, in pleasant, chilled, laid back atmosphere, very friendly staff and great selection of meat and vegetables.. Superb

Cracking parkland course, which offers a good rest of your golfing skills. Drinks/sandwiches available from the "halfway house" between the 1st and 10th tees. Home cooked meals and a good selection of drinks available in the clubhouse. Facilities include trolley/buggy hire, practice nets, a long practice area for warming up with the driver, and a separate practice area for hitting your irons (which also has a bunker, and small elevated chipping green). Lessons also available with the club pro. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Well worth calling for a round if your in the area.

Well Shaun you and your family really excelled yourselves, front of house a treat, service levels spot on and the food well can I just say that out of 56 of us ranging from an age of 92 down to 18 months all sent back empty plates licked clean (no finesse) but who cares, you and your staff did an excellent job, a VERY BIG thank you. As Arnie once said (I)/ " we will be back". A FULL RECOMMENDATIONS from all of us.

The chef and his wife are excellent at what they do. Martin the bar manager has always been nothing but nothing but welcoming.
