The best restaurants in Askern Spa Doncaster Yorkshire and The Humber

Lovely place and lovely food highly recommend a visit. Would definitely recommend trying the afternoon tea.

The only negative that I have is that there is not a single disabled parking space, and with narrow bays the parking is exceptionally difficult for people with disabled parking requirements especially if the restaurant is busy. A HUGE thank you to Ruby who when we explained this immediately went to management to raise the issue. But it needs a permanant solution - disabled parking bays.

Came here around a year before and the food was awful, but we came back due to it being a family birthday dinner, and the location was chosen by someone else so I was hopefull it might be better. Well it was worse. A group of 10+ people on a long table that would make anyone feel claustrophobic.  Food was ordered in 3 groups but at the same time, all the food came out at different times even food a same order came out at different times. Waitress came out with food no one had ordered, so that got sent back. 3 people were left with no food for 15 minutes whilst everyone else got theirs. The waitress had to ask us all "what's missing." After those 15 mins,2 out of 3 people got their food finally. My partners was the only food missing which took almost 15 more minutes. Once received, everyone else had basically finished theirs, but the actual meat was stone cold. I don't mean it was lukewarm, it was actually cold like it's been in the fridge for an hour.  I have never seen anything like it in any restaurant I've been it. It was like an episode of Hells Kitchen, just without Gordan Ramsay swearing in the background.  At this stage I was just angry and just took the entire meal to the bar and said we don't want it and we want the money back. We got a refund, and it basically ruined the experience. Not only that but the food we did get wasn't nice, I'm puzzled how so many people claim the food is good when the burgers are tasteless grease, the chips are flavourless and barely cooked, to me it's inedible.  To top off the entire experience, I now seem to have food poisoning the following day, so thank you.  Birthday invite or not, I won't be returning here. 

Absolutamente brillante lugar el desayuno estaba caliente y listo en un instante una pequeña joya en el mercado de Doncaster y a un precio muy razonable.

We went today after hearing good things about the cafe. We had a cooked breakfast which was made fresh and it was delicious. There us a good menu of polish soup and dumpling which we will try next time. The staff are very pleasant and it is spotless.

incredibly rude manager that works at the takeaway rude and disrespectful to his staff. wouldn’t order from here.

Went while on holiday. Penne arabiata very good. Doesn't take card though so make sure have cash.

Ordered the meat pie and it was horrendously dry, even the gravy boat didn't help. Thought I'd try it anyway, to find it was less meat and more gristle, wouldn't have given it my dog

Stunning location tucked away beautiful setting Georgian listed building with a modern twist amazing food and the whisky and wine selection depicts excellent taste for a quiet calm atmosphere recommend the afternoon tea aswell bespoke with artisane teas and desserts

Llamado para el desayuno después de un paseo por el lago en un día libre al azar del trabajo. Absolutamente hermoso! Tuve un desayuno medio y mi marido tuvo un desayuno grande (inglés completo) Servicio excelente Café excelente Comida excelente ¡Deffo vuelve! Inténtalo, no te decepcionará

Nuestros amigos estaban muy contentos con el encantador entrante de gambas y patatas fritas de halloumi 5 de nosotros compartimos unos platos. Entonces 3 de nosotros tuvimos los Fish 'n Chips más suculentos, el bateador iba a morir. Y también comieron algunos hongos extra en una pizza pepperoni .. . estaba delicioso de nuestros amigos hijo. Y una hermosa Steakburger, nuestro amigo disfrutó tanto. gracias a todos ustedes por el gran servicio y un buen rato en un encantador estilo antiguo, modernizado Inn. La vista es increíble. Hermosos jardines para sentarse con vistas al hermoso campo. Tuvimos un tiempo fabuloso. Saludos amables. Demanda a Walker, a mi marido y a nuestros amigos.

Primera vez después de años y fue genial, comida encantadora y un gran servicio. El personal de servicio era encantador y la comida estaba caliente y sabrosa.
