Dario's Ristorante in Doncaster

Celebramos nuestro noveno aniversario en Dario's anoche y no se me ocurrió un restaurante mejor para comer. El personal es amable y la comida es de un alto nivel.

Este es un restaurante italiano fabuloso y muy lo que la zona necesita, personal extremadamente amable y atento, pero lo más importante es la comida fabulosa. Un gran menú italiano, buenas porciones y a un precio extremadamente razonable. Recomendaría 100%!

Tuvimos una magnífica experiencia gastronómica anoche en Darios Ristorante para mi cumpleaños. Todos elegimos diferentes platos como podéis ver en las fotos adjuntas. Cada plato muestra atención al detalle con los ricos sabores y la hermosa presentación en el plato. También el servicio fue excelente, con personal educado y profesional que estuvo atento durante toda la comida. También me dieron un postre de "Feliz cumpleaños", que fue una sorpresa maravillosa! Había reservado previamente la comida a través de la página web de Darios, que era fácil de hacer y podría incluir la solicitud de una silla alta, que ya estaba sentado en la mesa cuando llegamos. El menú para niños que se ofrece tiene una gran selección de comida italiana saludable y auténtica, no solo la oferta habitual de "nuggets de pollo con patatas fritas" que se encuentra en casi todos los restaurantes en estos días. Recomiendo encarecidamente Darios Ristorante si usted está buscando una cena con el factor WOW, especialmente para una ocasión especial o reunión familiar.

The new restaurant is lovely decorated with beautiful outside benches. However upon arrival we were stood waiting for a table for about 5 minutes even though the restaurant was pretty empty. When seated we are normally greeted with a jug of water (which we were) however we used to be greeted with some bread and dipping oil but this treat seems to have been taken away which is a shame. We were then waiting to order our food for about half an hour and ended up having to ask for someone to come over and take our order. When drinks were bought out only one arrived we waited about another 5 minutes for the other drink and finally asked if there was another drink on their way out and was replied with “it will be” and the staff member just turned away. We waited for about 40 minutes for our meals to come out even though the restaurant was pretty empty. The food was standard but everyone’s opinions are different and some people might find it really nice, I just found that it tasted really basic. We also had ordered a kids meal for my 14 month old and it was placed on the table with no warning that it was boiling hot. I really don’t like to leave bad reviews cause it is a lovely restaurant but this was the worst experience I’ve had here. However the new decorations and new menu are beautiful, just probably won’t be eating here again.

This was our first visit since it reopened. The food was very good but slightly slow service although the waiter was very pleasant. The one thing that stopped us giving a higher rating was that they allow dogs in. We were half way through our meal when a couple came to the next table with a dog ( albeit quite well behaved) it made me quite uncomfortable though and I would not expect dogs in a restaurant like this. Shame.

My wife and I came for dinner midweek. I would have offered this a 5-star review because most of our visit was very nice. Polite and attentive staff, offer jug of water on arrival whilst waiting for our drinks and starters etc. However the Tuscan Chicken meal received by my wife appeared... old. Didnt seem fresh at all. The chicken was extremely tough and dry. The potatoes were also significantly overcooked and didnt seem fresh (they had that taste about them), almost as if the component parts had been cooked hours earlier during the lunch service and simply reheated and given a layer of sauce. With regrets we are very much in to 'first impressions' so its unlikely we'll be returning or recommending to others.

The service was friendly and helpful. Understanding about food allergies and being helpful with which dishes could have with a wheat intolerance.

Family do, firstly the food was fantastic, quality and quantity very good. Our only gripe was the staff seemed a bit dizzy, like they'd just been set on....and only seemed interested in taking drinks orders. It was 90 mins after arrival before any food came to table and it wasn't that busy.
