Brilliant night at scare fest , so well organised. So scary and funny ,everyone chatty and friendly , would highly recommend for a great night out , yummy meal too before braving the monsters !

Having been in summer, I decided to book here for my sons 8th birthday, there were 10 of us. I had booked and they put us on a lovely round table so we could all have a catch up and a chat. They were really accommodating and the waitress was so helpful bringing out his cake . The food was lovely , not one complaint and we all had different. Wouldn't hesitate to go back . Thankyou

We had a beautiful Sunday lunch at thornhurst . The food was hot plentiful and very tasty. The girls who served us were friendly efficient and professional at all times. From arrival everything was great staff very helpful there was a large group of us and nothing was to much trouble , food was absolutely gorgeous and really hot when it came out , we will definitely be going again

We had a fabulous afternoon sat in the well kept beautiful grounds the staff couldn't do enough for us fetching our dog a bowl of water without us even having to ask.The food was plentiful fresh and very tasty the menu choices are excellent We will definitely be returning.

We have been many times this year for both bar menu and Sunday lunch. Lovely food, great choices and presented nice. We usually book in advance as a large family and our table has always been ready. We came to Thornhurst Manor for a family gathering (11) for my Dad’s 60th birthday. The food and hospitality has been amazing, within our party we had lots of different request and requirements and Leah, Tracy, Kerris and Travis were second to none in making sure we were all happy and having a great time. The food was gorgeous, we had starters, mains and desserts and it was all lovely. You could tell it was all home made and the portions are very generous! All in all a fantastic family celebration made possible by the team. Thank you very much!! The only small bit of feedback we would have is the lack of 0% alcohols, there was just Becks 0% but it would have been great to have a couple more options.

My wife and I have been customers at Thornhurst Manor off and on for over 20 years and always had good meals at a reasonable price. Unfortunately today’s visit was different and the meal of fish and chips which are usually excellent, was far from satisfactory. The meal I had was clearly overcooked and the batter on the fish was hard and brittle. I took this meal back to the bar and was provided with a replacement which was greasy and tasteless, which I ate, leaving a lot of it unconsumed. The waitress was very nice and apologetic, but I can only assume there is a new chef, and if not, there should be. We will not be going there again.

Lovely food as always, but 29 of us were there for a birthday party and only 2 members of staff working the bar and restaurant and both sides of the restaurant. They were run off there feet. She also could not do enough for us.

My family and myself 20 + of us celebrated my Dads 70 th birthday here , food was absolutely amazing , Staff - Sarah , Erin , Ellie and Holly was always happy to help , had a very professional approach . we all enjoyed our meals , very high standard indeed . I had my wedding at this venue 17 years ago and this beautiful place has never changed. I would highly recommend this venue for a wedding or just for something to eat or even just for a few drinks with friends. So well done , we will definitely be coming back so thank you lv Lisa xx

Just had a superb Sunday Lunch, both of us had the Lamb which was absolutely divine, this was followed with the pear and apple crumble with custard this was delightful. All the staff are are very attentive very helpful and look very happy which mates the atmosphere very nice.

we go pretty regular for sunday lunch we have never all the times we go always have a fisrt class service from all of the staff.the food is a one very well presented. all the times we have been going never ever had a complains at all.please keep on doing what you always do there is nothing we would want you to change .thank you.

We attended the Princess afternoon tea and all I can say is wow everything was amazing from the decorations to the princesses and the food was outstanding we all left with full tummies and smiling faces well done to tour team they ticked every box

We came to the princess tea party event. It was really well organised and the children were made to feel really special! The staff were very friendly/approachable and swift in making sure we had enough hot water for drinks and everyone had smiles on their faces. The variety of sandwiches and cakes was brilliant and there was something for everyone. We left with full tummies.

I've had Sunday lunch at Thornhurst Manor a few times and it's all excellent,the ladies that wait on us are Kerris,Lexie and Ellie and are exceptional at their job,they're friendly and welcoming and the food is very good,they bring all the potatoes and veg in serving dishes except the meat,Yorkshire puds and stuffing that are already on the plate so you can serve yourself,the hassle back potatoes are delicious and the mash is smooth,no lumps,I can't fault this dinner,they will bring you more if you need it,nothing is too much trouble,it's exceptionally clean and i would recommend to anyone
