Qué puedo decir, como siempre el servicio y la comida eran excelentes. Nada es demasiado, te sientes como en casa. Tuve Gambas Linguini y mi marido tenía el lento; perfecto. pecho El postre era para morirse, Assiette de chocolate, una chocoholic's dream.

Had a fantastic afternoon tea. Looked amazing, it was delicious particularly the carrot cake! Would highly recommend.

Beautiful setting and lovely decor. The pub was busy even for Wednesday lunch and the food took quite a while which is undetectable but with having a family member with dementia not ideal. I was really disappointed with the price and amount of food. A children’s main course £9.50…wow!!! A ham salad very small and not filling and at £9.50, very disappointing, a few small but of ham and a small amount of bland salad…not even a slice of bread to help fill the appetite. Just over all left disappointed with the amount and price.

Been going there once a week for a few months now. Home made soup is excellent and the breakfasts look really good. Fast friendly service too.

What a lovely place, We had a friendly warm welcome from all staff. Our accomodation consisted of a wonderful classic style room with a great homely feel. Bar, food, waiting staff and housekeeping all of the highest standard. It took as around 40 minutes to walk into Sowerby Bridge and £7 can ride home. A great 60th birthday celebration for me. We will return, it was great!

Dad's 83rd birthday party but just found out he needs surgery on the Monday so has a list of things he can and can't eat which makes it difficult. But dad insisted. On arrival the owner and chef was sat down so I spoke to him and straight away said what ever he can have that we have i will prepare for him. And true to his word he did. That means a great deal to us as a family and was appreciated. Booked again for mums birthday

We were vastly disappointed by the second rate food refued a sweet menu we're to busy and you need to leave the table in a few minutes as it is booked. Plus we were told when booking it was the normal menu at 5 pm until 8 when they have a event on totally miss leading a fixed price menu only available at£ 27.95 it was kayotic and really poor service I would not have booked had I known it was a fixed price I didn't usually bother with reviews was served 2 small side dishes as her meal cold and.. enadable . they were greedy and totally over booked so cinnamon but you have seen the last of my family you totally ruined the first new years eve we've had off work for the past 30 years retired chef and restaurant er any poor reviews you get for that poor performance are richly deserved

A lovely pub/b&b, staff are very friendly, live music, very nice room and superb food, would recommend to anyone. Stayed here for a base to a local wedding, fit our needs perfectly.

Regrettably this place has gone right downhill. The young serving staff were all absolutely lovely but there were times when they needed some leadership/guidance. Despite the place being half empty (on a Saturday night!) there was some disorganisation. I had to send a pint back because it tasted of vinegar. This is very, very worrying because it means the beer lines are dirty and infected with bacteria that produces acetic acid (vinegar). Again this points to a lack of leadership. Is there no line-cleaning routine in place? Is no-one making sure it gets done? Is no-one tasting what comes out of the pumps before serving it to paying customers? The vegan offer used to be really good here but it has shrunk. There was a "plant-based burger" but it came as a soggy mess. Cheap patties made from spuds and peas, rather than a textured meat substitute. It tasted like a Linda McCartney burger. When I go out for a meal, I want two things. A nice pint and a good vegan offer. This place used to have both those things, but I'm sorry to say it now it has neither. I'm afraid we won't be back.

Called in today with my partner and my daughters dog We got a warm welcome from Helen who gave the dog some treats We had a lovely sandwich and cake an very nice coffee Lovely place with lovely food and staff 5 star

Best butty shop around nice people ,nicer food .the breakfast box is a winner huge , tasty portions for only 5.75

Hosted my daughter’s baby shower here and couldn’t have been happier. Beautiful room so easy to decorate prettier.. stone floor, beams, exposed brick and so many hooks around to hang decor from. The staff are so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Highly recommend!
