This is a lovely little country pub, set in a very pleasant part of the country side. It was a midweek visit, so it was rather quiet, there wasn’t any music or much atmosphere possibly due to it being quiet. We ordered our food which arrived in a very respectable amount of time. I have to say it was really nice.

Best sandwich shop around. Ham salad, ordered, made in around 2 minutes. Great.

Only got 1 can of pop was meant to get 2 cans the driver said one had burst in his car and was going to bring another one but he never did.

Best Chinese takeaway in the Halifax/Huddersfield area.

Smaller portions than usual especially the chicken pakora but still very tasty

Seated by our waitress Nicola and given a choice of tables which was appreciated. We ordered a variety of dishes including the soft shell crab (always a winner ) and the fragrant and fresh tasting sea bass dish - delightful. The food was wonderful, as always, but think what made the evening extra special was the service. Nicola was professional, polite and funny. She was helped out by Caitlin who was also polite and good at her job by making sure the dishes were staggered so that it didn’t all come at once. Thanks ladies. .

A great local boozer. Friendly staff and great foot. They also have some great entertainment on. Parking nearby. I would recommend.

Been for years under the previous Brow Bridge Cafe ownership. Used to be quick and friendly service and the food was always generous and spot on. We waited ages to be served and whilst we were there 3 couples walked in and then walked out because in 10 minutes of waiting they didn’t get served. This didn’t include people walking in for counter service. Under staffed and probably not prioritising what is needed. People asking the staff if they can get served. Looks great inside.

Like this bar as it doesn't just cater for young people. Nice environment, friendly and a great selection of drinks. Also fantastic cocktails and afternoon tea. A great addition to West Vale. Sometimes have live bands on. Kindred were fantastic, please get them back, what a voice! 🎸🤘🎶❤️

Excellent food - the best steaks we'd had for a very long time - and service with the added bonus of a panoramic view down the valley.

Order 2 hours ago, hasn’t turned up.

Value for money which is a rare experience now a days ,quality great ,staff friendly yet professional worth popping in even if’s just for a coffee.

£14.10. For two teas & 2 scones not acceptable

The staff, atmosphere and food all stunning. We had the 2 course Sunday dinner and I couldn’t fault any of the food. All the staff were lovely. We had a wonderful time. Thank you
