Lovely afternoon celebrating a special birthday. Gorgeous food. A good mixture of sandwiches and savoury. A nice selection of different cakes, ( too many for me personally), took some home in a box which was provided. Fantastic service provided by brilliant staff. Definitely recommend.

Great lively bar with a large range of beers, wines and cocktails.

Annette has served us all night so polite and helpful and takes her job very seriously

Like this bar as it doesn't just cater for young people. Nice environment, friendly and a great selection of drinks. Also fantastic cocktails and afternoon tea. A great addition to West Vale. Just need to lower the volume during the afternoon as it can be a bit overpowering. Save it until the evening 😉

Visit here often on a Saturday night, the atmosphere is brilliant. Service is excellent with some lovely cocktails 👌 They have a brilliant DJ every other Saturday he's great & plays to everyone's liking, you can't help but dance. The manager is fantastic always makes you feel welcome and goes above and beyond to allow you to just enjoy a great night out ⭐️

My friends and I love the vibe at the Vine Bar - the “atmos” is great and fun times with all the live music too. Super cocktails also - The staff are friendly and go over and above for there customers - I can’t rate Annette and the staff highly enough - Thanks Vine Bar 🍸🍹

Had the best time on Saturday night in vine, the DJ was amazing, the bar was full and the atmosphere was just brilliant, can't believe someone is moaning about people ordering cocktails in a cocktail bar, fancy that 🤣🤣🤣 also, that they had to wait to be served, the staff were working so hard to get people served, how sad some people are, anyway we danced all night it was great, don't apologise for being packed out, must be doing something right 😀

Got asked to get off my telephone because I was disturbing the clientele (except the only other person in the bar was the owner) and then thrown out for “disrespecting the furniture” for trying to relax in the corner of an empty bar… see photo! The owner was unnecessarily rude and abrupt and the whole experience was just unpleasant… Luckily I found a bar two mins walk away that was buzzing and overflowing with lovely locals and the staff were great 🥰 Can’t image why the Vine was empty 🤣🤷🏼‍♂️ (In response to your reply) - the gentleman you say was a customer, advised me that he was the owner. I wasn’t playing anything through my phone, it was a private conversation with my wife 🤷🏼‍♂️ and I was in no way rude to anyone, in fact, despite being treat like I had done something wrong, I was apologetic! Other bars in the village were luckily incredibly friendly and very busy… shame yours was empty.

A bar with two choices of beer both of which are run of the mill lagers? Waiting ten minutes to buy some of the lager whilst a bunch of people order cocktails, shambles.

Went to The Vine last night, they had a DJ on who was fantastic - it was busy and the atmosphere was brilliant. Cocktails are superb.

This is a nice bar but I've never experienced such rudeness from bar staff. A young woman with blonde hair was incredibly hostile when I approached her, for absolutely no reason. Asked her to change me a £20 note after I had ordered some cocktails and she refused. Luckily her colleague was very professional and friendly and did it with no fuss. My friends and I won't be going back there again.

Had a great time on Friday evening watching the live music. Sat outside and was served at the table by a delightful young man called Rocco. Super polite, exceptional service and didn’t stop all night. What a lovely young man and asset to the bar.

The Vine Bar afternoon tea was a truly unforgettably experience. Lynda and her team went over and above to offer us one of the best Afternoon Teas ever. We look forward to going back again.

Came in Friday night for a few drinks , first time I’ve been in here , and I must say what a beautiful place & lovely staff. Especially a young man called Rocco I think he was called. Will definitely be back again :)

Very impressed with the vegan afternoon tea it was delicious. Some real thought had gone into it - it was the best one I've ever had and I've had a lot! Highly recommend.

Had an amazing afternoon/evening at the Vine! All staff were amazing especially Lynda, Jena, Freya and Annette! They were all very welcoming and very knowledgeable, especially when it comes to cocktails! 100% would recommend!! Thank you for such an amazing evening!!

Visited the Vine as we do with our family every Christmas Eve and as usual throughly enjoyed ourselves, until today 8thJan 24. I received a £ 51 fine ( and so has my grandson) from Horizon private parking company for being 8 minutes over the 2 hour allotted time. apparently you have to Reg your car details at the bar to get FREE parking whilst visiting the Vine. We never saw anything regarding this. I would kindly ask the manager train staff to ask all customers if they have parked outside and advise them they need to Reg their car details at the bar to avoid these horrendous fines from despicable companies such as Horizon Parking. Or at the very least have a sign on the bar advising customers to do this.

Never been myself. The Mrs loves it though, keeps her out of the house and happy - 5 stars from me.

More a cocktail bar than a pub. Popular location. As a gentleman of advancing years, I thought the music was slightly too loud and the beer too cold. For Yorkshire Yoof, I imagine Vine would tick many boxes.

A woman went on a racist rant after one too many drinks as she left Vine Bar in Halifax. She paid for it with the loss of her job, a police caution, newspaper headlines and online humiliation after the doorman's footage was posted online. No need for a quiet word, an apology and/or barring these days at Vine Bar! Please ensure your behaviour is impeccable.

Tonight was our first visit despite moving to the local area nine months ago. Great atmosphere, great music, fantastically varied clientele and mind blowing, original and unique cocktails. Will defo be back!

Great cocktails, great staff, cool decor, good atmosphere, good music. Could do with better selection of beer on tap, but on the whole a great bar and always a good night out.

Me and my partner came for the first time since lockdown and we had a great night. Really good DJ and great bar staff, especially Jonjo who was serving us. He had really good knowledge of the drinks, from this we tried some new whiskeys and shots. Great guy, made us feel really welcome.

Fab cocktails - not from a tap! Wide varied menu. Nothing for ale drinkers. Outdoor seating, evening music, option to eat.

Music was still upto date and delivered well by in house dj. Plenty of staff and comfortable amenities. Nice funky fresh decor.

My first visit with a friend who visits regularly. A warm and friendly welcome, great food and delicious mocktails. I would definitely recommend the Vine Bar.

Nice bar but let down by an awful, ponytailed doorman. Aggressive, rude and unwelcoming.

Shocking experience. Booked a table for 6 and paid expensive deposit. One friend turned up later due to been a KEY WORKER was then refused entry as they claimed the table only now sat 5! Not 6! When we had booked for 6!! Customer service was non existent! Ruin our night.

Tipsy afternoon tea was amazing. The bubble rum punch is top drawer!! Staff cant do enough for you! We will be back!

Didn't stay in here long, but from what I saw it was nice. Really great decor and the selection of drinks at the bar was good. Staff seemed nice will definitely go back for another go.

A very chilled out place where you can sit to have a lovely drink, I do believe it’s a place to go for a party but I do think the music was a bit too loud.

Good venue, the staff are friendly and helpful which makes for a good place. Drinks prices, well in the area not the worst. All in well kept and clean. Just maybe lower the music volume a bit and increase as it gets later.

Very friendly staff, nice atmosphere, very rustic and alternative appearance inside, not exactly cheap but certainly not tight on the portion sizes, definately worth a go, just make sure you're hungry...

Always enjoy a drink here. Staff are friendly and full of info about the drinks on offer. Venue itself is stylish and well situated with a full drinks menu. Lots of restaurants near by and the afternoon tea always looks delicious!

Wonderful place to visit after work

Quiet initially but then busied up. Would benefit from having an IPA or Ale on draught.

Sadly the bar staff came to ask what I wanted then turned away 3 times when I started it to flirt with his co-worker. Sadly disappointed on this visit.
