Morrisons Cafe in Calderdale

Value for money which is a rare experience now a days ,quality great ,staff friendly yet professional worth popping in even if’s just for a coffee.

If you love fish this is the best place in the area . Perfect ! Lovely chips and mushy peas too . The ladies are very friendly and helpful . If the cafe is full it is a bit of a squeeze no other problems though

Good value breakfast, efficient service, had the full breakfast, would have preferred tinned tomatoes in place of a grilled tomato and removing the hash browns, but that is a personal thing I hate hash browns. Apart from that really worth the visit. They could offer an option of a black pudding or fried bread in place of hash browns..

As Morrisons cafes go this is the 4th I have tried and it's the best out of the 4. Best meals are breakfast, chicken chips and salad, jacket spud s, fish and chips and mushy peas. Sausages chips eggs and beans. I avoid the coffee as its lousy.. Tea is ok. Better off with a bottle of pop or water. Staff are mostly pleasant and nothing is too much trouble. The cafe is pretty clean and dishes are cleared away frequently. Many cafe in Todmorden are closed Mondays and Tuesdays so Morrisons is a god send.

This is a great place for brunch, the breakfasts are tasty and great value, can't go wrong here. The service is speedy and staff are polite.

both me & my 80yp disabled mother decided on going for bite to eat but had second thoughts & go to morrisons, so we had fish n chips with mushy peas plus capacino, and i dont know whats happened but the presentation of there meals seems to have improved & better, and was well worth £10inc the coffees

For a supermarket restaurant it was very pleasant with an outdoor seating area. The girl on the till was very pleasant and the refreshments were good.

We visited with our Grandaughter, and hadn’t eaten there for maybe a year. The food in the past has always been good, but this time the food was inedible. Ordered different meals and all the meals was poor. Positive side the table where clean.

Honestly the most awful food I've ever eaten, or not in my case as it was that bad. My mum and I both wanted jacket potatoes but they only had one left which my mum had with tuna crunch. The jacket potato was clearly a microwaved potato and the tuna crunch was literally a tin dumped on the potato with a few onions. As they didn't have any jacket potatoes left I went with scampi and chips instead. The mushy peas were cold and tasted like there was washing up liquid mixed in them. The chips were limp and tasteless and the 6 pieces of scampi I had were undercooked. Although there was ample staff around, all of the tables were dirty with left over dishes and food. Good job I had Dettol wipes to clean the table and high chair before putting my baby in. It's safe to say we won't be returning.

very reasonable price, great value and friendly hard working staff. Food done just the way I like- the staff were cheerful and gave useful advice about the meal deals. will 2definitely call again when in the area

The prices here are the only thing to recommend it, often poor cooked food that at its best is totally bland but warm generous portions, if you add salt it will be salty warm food it's that bad, evidently the meat is often overcooked to and a friend chipped a tooth chewing on it, if you are cold are have little or no money and need food desperately then this is the place for you, it used to be so much better before they refurbished the place and the staff were friendly but not anymore unfortunately

As a regular visitor to this cafe I needed to let people know how hard the staff in there work and what great food it produces visited many other Morrison’s cafes and this has to be the best ! Must say they could do with more staff all the time as always ran off their feet but I’ll keep on visiting for that amazing full English and kids eat free after 3pm wow what a deal great work guys keep it up
