Great selection of real ales at a good price , It’s a community pub owned by about 300 people according to the very friendly girl behind the bar We sat out the back in the tiered beer garden in the sun ( wish were able to stay tonight for the live music )

This is by far best propper real ale pub in Hebden Bridge Yes it is on the outskirts of Hebden Bridge but it's a real gem to find About 10 minuites walk from rail station This pub has a clientele who are mainly real ale connausers and the beer sold on premises is very very good sold at competitive prices by knowledgeable bar staff. Lovely cozy community based/run pub this, excellent selection of cask and keg ales, staff always brilliant and welcoming, great seating area outside accessed via the stairs, nice selection of warm snacks such as pasties and sausage rolls, quirky interior and full of characters, I highly recommend this place.

Absolutely charming pub in a unique location. Privately owned by a cooperative and boasting many fine and unusual ales and wines. The quirky building only adds to the atmosphere and the very friendly staff and locals make this a memorable day out whatever the occasion. Very highly recommended 👍

I learnt that the bar manager was friendly and kind and that the beer which kept well and was reasonably priced . I sat next to a lovely roaring fire on a cold day and had a chat with a customer who was also very agreeable. When I mentioned I just lost my reading glasses for the umpteemth time to the bar manager she began rummaging in previously left glasses and provided some that were perfect for me with a little cloth as well to clean them up .I will be back on my next trip from Manchester .Such a cosy pub.

The 1st. Cooperative Pub in West Yorkshire and it shows! A lovely warm welcome at the end of a Winter's Walk on the Moors. Definitely will return!

Lovely little pub set into the hillside. Good selection of 6 real ales, choices changed regularly. Outside covered beer garden up steps not wheelchair accessible, but able to take mountain bikes up if necessary.

One of my favourite pubs anywhere in the world. Old fashioned pub with a fantastic ale selection. Fire burning in the cosy interior or the good view from the beer garden. Always full of friendly people.

This was our first visit here. We heard it was owned and run by the community which we thought was brilliant as so many pubs are closing. Would definitely call again

This place is wonderful! Community run pub with lots of rotating beers/ciders. The beer garden is stunning, the staff and locals are really friendly and the bar snacks were good! Definitely call in if - can't wait to go back!

Busy on a Sunday afternoon & no wonder when there are SIX cask beers 🍺 available - plus a couple of keg beers & lagers. Two hard working members of bar staff keeping the thirsty punters happy. All the cask beers were between £4 & £5 per pint & the three that I sampled were in great condition: 4.8% Craven Pale Ale, 4% Secret & a 3.8% offering from Pictish Brewing Company. Great to see a co-operative pub doing well. I worked in this area about 30 years ago & think I remember this pub as either closed down or struggling - not the case today! 👍🏻 An orange Fox 🦊 & Goose 🪿 T-Shirt 👕 for a tenner was a bargain too! 👍🏻

One of my favourite spots in hebden bridge. This lovely pub has an amazing outdoor terrace to have drinks with great views. It's very affordable and the staff are so welcoming. You have to come here!

Great pub to end a walk from Todmorden to Hebden Bridge. Cask beer kept perfectly. Pasties are highly recommended and they have veggie ones as well.

Solid English boozer and a beer garden that's essentially in a wood. Great ales. Will defiantly be going back.

Loved it! I stayed on the ground floor though, I'm not built for narrow stairs and low ceilings. Excellent beers from local breweries. The locally sourced pork pies were really good too!

My favourite pub in town, although I can never remember leaving at night.

No food served here has such just snacks and pork pies anyway went in on quiz night so plenty in good choice of beers service was good no issues even using the unisex loo ,locals even left food on a little table like bread ,cake etc to take free although we didnt we would return again no problem

The best pub in West Yorkshire. Fab beer, great snacks and a genuine friendly welcome. Wonderful newly refurbished beer garden, with heaters, open wooden huts and tables with parasols. The garden is multi tiered as it is situated on a hillside, great views. Rachael and Lucy were the perfect hosts. 💕

Proper stout & good selection of beers n snacks a proper pub. A shame old Fred Dibnah isn't still about up that chimney across the road 🥰

Always have a few drinks in the fox and goose when I'm hiking!! Warm and friendly staff and customers. Probably my favourite pub, the raspberry cider wasn't refrigerated so was given a pint glass with plenty of ice. Fantastic idea to get a drink and glass holder whilst safely getting up to the rooftop terrace!!! Your made to feel special , a bit like a VIP!!! Next time I'll have a pie!!!! 😋

Great find this one. When the weather is good the terraced gardens at the back are a must. Just keep keep going up, lovely secluded spot at the top with views.

Superb traditional cooperative pub, selling good quality ales form smaller independent breweries. When we visited they had six beers on, the two I tried were excellent. A good atmosphere and friendly staff. Beer garden up a steep flight of stairs, worthy of a visit. No food but serves pork pies and vegan samosas, locally sourced. Only a short walk form Hebden Bridge centre.

Incredible pub! The waiters are very nice and they have a large number of beers, the place is very well decorated and has a very cozy terrace
