Service and ambience really good...food excellent.. what more is there to say dear eater!

Great restaurant. Nothing to complain about. If you like Indian food, this is the place to eat.

We have eaten at Cinnamon at the Mill (as well as ordering take aways) on many occasions and have always enjoyed delicious food and excellent service. Thank you for being such a superb and reliable restaurant.

Absolutely appalled! ordered tandoori butter chicken with a garlic naan bread. the tandoori butter chicken has come half filled in the tub with a quarter of that being Greece and oil!. the onions haven't even been cut up and the chicken is just massive slabs in the dish. I would not say this is creamy and buttery and I'm absolutely disgusted the garlic naan bread is not garlic at all. my partner hates garlic and he could eat it with no problem. I will be posting pictures alongside this!. to then ring up cinnamon at the mill and for them to say there is nothing they can do but give us a free tandoori butter chicken next time I order. I'm not being funny but when you've had such a bad service why would you order from the same place twice. I will not be ordering from this place again as this was poor service and poor food also for reference the tandoori butter chicken was £11.95 And the naan bread was £3.50 total order coming to £16.89 for one person when they should have been able to feed two this would have not even fed one person.

Exquisite food, incredible flavours and fantastic service. I don't know what the other reviewers who have marked less are on about! Hands down the best curry I've had in a long time! We will definitely be back 😀

Gets very busy especially on a weekend so make sure to book. Food is excellent and authentic.Clean and tidy environment and nice feel to the place. Had to ask four different staff before my drink actually came which was frustrating as I was thirsty. Need to sort this out. Otherwise would have been 5 stars. Staff are friendly but I shouldn't have to chase them up so many times!

Went there with 3 friends last Saturday night at 8.40pm refused entry as advised kitchen closing at 9pm. Surely this is v early for a Saturday night never mind other nights more than our group too turning business away not good service. If this is the case need to advertise only open limited hours

My first meal here, visited with a friend who lives locally and has been before [and has takeaways]. Impressive interior, decent selection of food & drink and all the staff who served us were super friendly. Only disappointment main dish had a slight burnt taste, I ordered a special so thought may have been intention but when we left my friend who ordered a "normal" curry said theirs was similar. Not horrendous and will definitely give it another go, as never judge on one meal but I eat curry's regularly and room for improvement.

Been a couple of times whilst visiting from Australia. And each time the food has been delicious and the service great. 🙏

Delivered from the overpriced food apps. Mixed tandoori starter was lovely. Food cooked great but very oily. Tandoori butter chicken was tasteless and 50% oil. Not what I expected at all. Not very appetising.

Got a takeaway just moved into the area food first off was cold and quality wasn't great starters were greasy and not well cooked meat in both the mains were dry. They were busy but standards should not slip that far I won't return sorry

Takeaway - mixed kebab starter on the small side but tasty. Really enjoyed the curries. Just a shame that you have to order through one of the extortionatately priced apps if you want delivery.

First time myself and my partner have had food from the cinnamon at the mill used to go to sazas well not no more the food is absolutely divine best curies we have ever had will definitely be going there all the time will definitely recommend to any one who ask for places for a curry the food was 100% spot on was only half an hour wait from ordering to been delivered chicken just melts in your mouth

The food was excellent and the interior feels industrial and modern. Clean as well. The service on our visit was poor. We didn't get enough attention for extra drinks etc. Basically ignored. Starters never arrived either. The mains were exactly as described. The manager did apologise and make some recompense.

One of the worst curries I’ve ever eaten. Lamb karahi? Yes I could have cried!! Tasteless with no hint of spices, just a watery vegetable stock which seems to have been thickened by blitzing it with a food blender. The starter? Don’t get me startered!! Garlic king prawns, 3 prawns for £5.95. It was described as with an onion and capsicum garnish. Well, the ‘garnish’ was the main ingredient on the plate and had been fried to a cinder along with the slices of garlic which obviously turned bitter and hard and the awful taste remained with me long into the night. This meal can only be described as gastronomic GBH.

Worst curry I have ever eaten. I'm surprised how ppl are being fooled in Huddersfield with their bland and un tasty dishes with very simple/over priced and oily starters. I had two separate curries. One house special balti and one famous dish (according to waiter ) chicken karahi . Ok I understand not even a pinch of salt in it but hey any spices ? Can't taste anything but water . Both dishes were made by same base just with a slight color difference. Chicken pieces are thick and big and hard like rubber. A very cheap way to make a curry. Just throw in boiled ready chicken pieces in a same base sauce and add some spices and color and give it to customer. Extremely over rated food and exaggerated reviews. If someone who knows what curry tastes like will tell you the truth. (I'm not Gordon Ramsay but I am an honest customer who tried curries all his life everywhere ) Never again

The take out food is never as good as dining in. Last night's order, the well done nann bread was raw the time before the order was wrong.

If you're within an hour's drive of this restaurant, it's a must do. The food is fabulous, not just good. Service is quick and attentive. Been 3 times this year and will be back in October on our next visit. Put it on your list.

Absolutely phenomenal Entertainment Jim Santana & The Sweet Temptation (Elvis Tribute Artist) over 20 years in the business. The food was absolutely beautiful, the owner Taj couldn't do enough for everyone, the staff were all very efficient could not praise this place enough. Let's hope they get Jim back again. X

I've had some good meals here but I've also had some bad ones. Tonights was the last straw, the lamb is terrible. It's a shame because i like the staff and when the food is right it's great. Just sick of rolling the dice with this place

Ordered a takeaway. The starter arrived stone cold and under cooked, the main was luke warm so not enjoyable. Only positive was the naan bread. I'm glad I got a voucher code and didn't have to pay full whack for it. Definitely won't be ordering a takeaway from here again

excellent tasty & good quality food

Went for the eat out to help out on Wednesday, the service was good, the food was ok although both my wife's and mine had quite a strong curry powder taste to them. Never before have I paid £2.50 for a paratha or £9 for a korma, not exactly huge portions either.

Normally very good but had Tikka Masala tonight and it was quite tasteless and watery...I'd give it another chance based on previous visits. Staff very good.

Great food and atmosphere, reasonable prices and good service. I liked how alot of the curries were non greasy however I thought they could have been more spicy but that's personal preference.

Nice food, but really slow service, took more than 45 minutes for our mains to arrive. Too long. We'd only ordered some standard curries, no specials and the place was less than half full when we ordered.

Well well well the is a gem of a place for a really good and filling Indian meal. All the staff were really polite and friendly. The food was amazing just the right amount of portion as well. Will defiantly revisit the cinnamon. Plus the prices were adequate and not too expensive.

The staff are always brilliant, it's great there's a bar rather than take your own alcohol and you can pay card here, the naan breads aren't massive like a lot of places so order a few if you're in a group but they are delicious too, I always over eat here....

Lovely setting for a restaurant, a beautifully renovated old woolen mill in Greetland. Slightly standard menu and could do with a larger selection of signature dishes where the imagination is stretched a little bit further. Decent wine selection and very friendly, helpful and attentive staff. Portion sizes again are middling but the puri and naan were absolutely fresh and delicious as was the raitha. The visit was mid evening on a Saturday and it was very busy. Not bad at all and with a broader menu, it'd been a 5.

This isn't the first visit we have made to this restaurant, but our previous visit we not as good as they perhaps could have been. This time however things had much as improved. The meal was delicious and everyone was pleased with their choices. The service has improved 100%. Since our last visit, but there is a small gripe. The lighting makes it almost impossible to read the menu. To prove the point, they even gave us a torch to help. One torch between 4 not ideal. Could we suggest someone nips to Ikea and buys some brighter bulbs?
