Costa Coffee in Calderdale

Nice little coffee shop. Bit pricey these days but still good for a treat!

Not enough clearing of tables especially for a Saturday.

Coffee is great. Service was fast. Atmosphere was what it was for a coffee house. Might be better if some of the tables were cleared from previous customers.

My wife was in Costa Brighouse this morning and wanted to order bubble tea without ice., and the great employee said that without ice she would get 50ml of tea, pathetic that you have to buy something with ice and if not they want to rob you. good job brighouse Costa service

Busy local Costa with a good range of food and drinks. Friendly helpful staff. Comfy seating, plug sockets and free wi-fi.

No food this time just coffee and was nice and hot.

Ordered a hot chocolate and a tea for one , both drinks were lukewarm and the tea was really weak . Had to leave the tea as even topping the cup up it still remained cool . £12 is a lot to have to pay for substandard drinks

I suppose you go to Costa, and you get Costa. My "small" flat white was huge. At least a 12oz cup. With the additional shot it tasted ok.

We had a delicious coffee and cake this morning. The staff were really friendly especially the gentleman who served me, we were sitting outside with our daughter’s puppy when the aforementioned gentleman brought a drink of water for the puppy. Definitely excellent service and much appreciated Well done Costa Brighouse 🥰🐾

Eating in Costa now, the service by a senior assistant was such a pleasure. Polite, quick, friendly and efficient...my snack was bought to the table with a cheery greeting. Great team working today...thankyou!

Great service from the staff and coffee was good. Environment was unbearably uncomfortable due to lack of air con. Staff were also suffering from the unbearable heat, still managing to serve with a smile 😃. Fortunate that it was not sunny today, can't imagine what it wld have been like if it was.

Come here every week for a coffee and cake, lovely set of lasses working, always happy to help with a smile on their faces, big thanks to kelby who helped me today after I was struggling on my feet, helped me sit down and brought my usual out to me, such a sweet girl

Didn't receive all my order. 1/4 items not in the bag. I won't bother ordering from here again, as it is money down the drain if you don't receive what you pay for

Please if you go to Costa coffee in Brighouse do not come close to Kelby tennison who works here. She is a nasty, rude and vindictive person she doesn’t wash her hands or Keeps to any type of hygiene when making you’re coffee’s or using her dirty hands to touch cakes. She has a very very bad criminal record for assault and abusive behaviour STAY AWAY

We did not receive the 2 toasties or the 2 Kit Kats that should have come with the hot drinks. We are unable to contact the shop as there is no available phone numbers. My daughter is now sat with no food and very disappointed

An excellent place for a drink and a snack. Very friendly staff.

Why don't Costa do anything for those that are gluten free, come in here alot but can never eat, there's lots of us about, maybe think about those with allergies abit more.

tasty food and best place for milk to go with tea! cute little espresso (maybe) sized cup filled with milk rather than a few sachets. perfect as I like enough milk to cool down and drink straight away.

Excellent delivery and good food. Bacon fatty and underdone but the carrot cake more than made up for it.

I order from Costa on a regular basis. I have to say, that the service is continuing to go down hill. They never have what I order in, and to boot, instead of the business themselves contactimg me, they have the delivery driver call me and tell me there's stuff missing. He is a delivery driver, he doesn't work in Costa. Very shocked by this.

Worst costa coffee shop I've been to. They keep getting my order wrong, and I keep going back like a fool. I can't remember when they did get it right. I'm totally avoiding from now on.

Absolutely disappointed. I ordered a large hot chocolate, paid for it online, when my order was delivered, I did not get a large one but a medium... Also my food was stone cold! I requested a refund for the fact of I did not the correct items I PAID for... They are now refusing the refund. So, yeah, absolutely disappointed, more so with Costa because I order from there regularly.

I love their lemon muffin cake, taste just like homemade cake.

Not enough staff and it took 10 minutes for us to even order the drinks. There was no one else in the line either.

The person the till John was sooo lovely and friendly, what a wonderful member of staff, my Frappe was lovely and free as I had bought enough drinks previously, it was busy so a great atmosphere 😀

No bacon sandwich. Coffee was cold. Delivery driver ran off as I shouted him to ask where my sandwich was

Arrived just before closing time. Excellent service despite the fact that they were clearing up. The batista wasn't familiar with a Costa Light , my favourite drink, but made it under the guidance of the manager, Alex. It was lovely.

Really polite and helpful staff here. My daughter had a bit of an accident and spilt her drink. The staff couldn't have been more helpful or attentive. Quickly cleaning up and even giving her a replacement drink. Really helpful and unexpected well done Olivia, Christian, Carmen and Alex. Thank you for the help 😊

First time I have called in to this Costa with my father I know my sister enjoys Costa so I thought I’d give it a try and the coffee n cake was just right .

Nice drinks. But once the promotion has gone take down the pictures or everyone is going to ask for it.

Don't have the iced latte or iced mocha. The worst drinks I've ever had to pay for.

We use this Costa branch regularly with no problems. However today there were problems. I ordered a small hot chocolate and large Cappuccino. The server poured the milk into the Cappuccino mug and then poured one shot of coffee straight in and pushed it towards me. I was somewhat perplexed as this was not how I had seen it prepared previously. Taking it to my table I mixed it best I could, but could not taste the coffee. I took it back and was served with another which was good. Additionally the hot chocolate was far from hot. Not our usual experience at Brighouse

Sometimes the coffee is bang on but walked in other day recieved completely the wrong drink was a bit annoying because the queue was long.

Enjoyed a quick coffee.Even do decaf and Alternative milks.

Lovely Costa, great coffee, super friendly staff and quick service. Sat on the outside tables with the dog. Free parking for 1.5 hours nearby in the Wilko car park or 20p for an hour on street parking.

Love this place for a coffee. It's clean and tidy and had plenty of seating. The staff are really friendly and can't help you enough. The only downside is that it only has one toilet, although it's very clean so can't really complain. It's a Regular for me on a Thursday. Happy customer.

I do like a Costa coffee and buy them all over the place but I always ask them not to give me a plastic lid as I always get a take out coffee and drink it within ten steps of the entrance - after walking out - there's enough plastic rubbish in the environment already without these lids, that request has never been a problem until this morning in the Costa shop in the town of Brighouse, West Yorkshire, when I was told that I HAD to have a lid, I said, in the words of John McEnroe - you cannot be serious - I was again told I HAD to have the lid and sure enough the lid was snapped on.... don't tell me - it's for health and safety..... maybe they think I'm going to spill it... if that's the reason, why don't they put lids on all the China cups too...? One star rating for environmental awareness I'm afraid. (I won't mention the servers name because I don't want to get her into trouble)

If you walk in sit down you don't need a mask if you order on till entry refused and asked to leave as no mask. Absolutely garbage scenario will not be coming back with a mask.

Came in the other day and was served by a lovely lady called Sarah. She's an absolute credit to the place, helpful, efficient and very welcoming. The coffee was lovely and ill be back ! Its not often we praise staff but this store would be lost without Sarah

Called in for a caramel frostino yesterday & a delicious slice of banana cake was serve by a very friendly lady at the till called Sarah who made me feel very welcome and safe with the indoor seating in these covid times & also helped me to track & trace i will definitely be back thank you for you're service in these hard times

Absolutely ridiculous! Went for a coffee only to be screamed at by a lady mopping like her life depended on it... "WAIT OUTSIDE WE ARE FULL!" did an about turn as we were so shocked at the lack of customer service and spent our money in a local coffee shop which was amazing. Will not be returning here again that's for sure. Lack of customer service on most people's first day out after lockdown. Its not on!

Got to the coffee shop 4.50pm, 10mins before closing the woman closed the door on my face and waved her hands in the air we closed now. Could have said we close early or sorry come tomorrow, why close the door on my face? I take my business elsewhere in Brighouse.

Coffee was lukewarm and very very weak! To be fair it was changed but still weak and warm but not hot. Will not be going again!

Quiet during lockdown but has implemented Covid friendly service. Didn't even know Costa had opened up in Brighouse. Nice little find on my morning walk

What's not to love about coffee

Really good coffee ☕ as per usual. Friendly team.

Can be a little slow on service, however nice food and drink. As I have a newborn, I am a little confused as to why there are steps out back. Not very good for pushchairs or disabled access. 😕

Friendly staff, covid compliant, very clean store...

A very pleasureable visit here on Sunday 25/10. The young lad working here deserves a mention, he was working single handed (someone not turned up for work) very polite, very organised and wow so hard working. It was obvious he really enjoys his job, well done.
