Attitude disgusting does not care about your concerns but quite happy to accept your money

The food here is amazing, fresh vegetables, all well cooked and very reasonably priced. Normally Chinese/Cantonese take-away is full of MSG and gives me a bad stomach but the food here is stunning. Ok, sometimes it’s so busy that there’s a wait but it’s more than well worth the wait. I love it.

Super friendly, efficient service. Food is absolutely superb. Totally delicious and as good as I’ve tasted anywhere. I highly recommend the Kung Po!!!

Wing Yip is my regular Chinese takeaway, and the food is always consistent and tastes absolutely amazing!! I've never had a bad experience. It is by far the best Chinese takeout food for miles around. The service is also 10/10. The lady (Sally) is so polite and always smiling. Thank you for the amazing food you provide regularly for me and my family.

Yes there’s usually a wait. Sometimes longer than advised, but I’ve never had a bad meal in all the years I’ve been enjoying meals from Wing Yip and I personally know it’s well worth the wait because the food is the best for miles. The family work hard to keep up with orders and the wait is testament to how good it is. I’ll continue to return again and again and we would never go anywhere else. I’d give 10 stars if I could!

Very poor, and very bland food, did not enjoy

Great food. But the last few times I have been I had to wait an additional 30mins for my order after the agreeded time it would be ready.

Great food, decent prices. Not always ready on time but excellent other than that.

Worst service ever experienced. Absolutely ridiculous. Placed an order at 5pm to collect at 6.30. Still sat outside waiting at 7pm waiting for it to be made. So that's 2 hours to microwave pre cooked food and still not ready. Happened before but thought might have been a one off. Clearly not. Definitly avoid.

I agree with most things said in the reviews: nice staff, good manners, clean place. Their food unfortunately is not as described in the other reviews. Maybe they had a bad day, it is very possible. The food taste was not good at all, their chips were very poor and the sauce very irritating, leaving a painful feeling in my throat. I may give the place a second chance and if my experience is different I will give them a higher rating. But today this is what they get.

Amazing food, there salt and pepper items are out of this world. Will be ordering from them more often!

Like to go here a bit of a way to go but worth it

This is the only Chinese takeaway that i use. Usually busy especially at the weekends but its busy for a reason. Always 5 stars

Best Chinese food in the area - but can be long waiting times. One tip - instead of saying it'll be 45 minutes, then having to wait a further 20 minutes... just say it'll be 65 minutes and have it ready on time.

Lied to me on time scale to wait for food. Left stood for 10 mins before being acknowledged I was even in the shop. After I walked down to the establishment to collect my Telephone order. Once I'd been seen to I was told to wait longer. Decided not wait but couldn't tell them as they just ignore you and the phone ringing. Wasted 45 mins of my life I'll never get back and I'll never return. Ignorance is the worst in business

The lady who is front of house is so friendly and nice. The food was top notch it's our takeaway of choice every time.

Sally serves at Wing Yip House, she’s lovely, so friendly, and if she’s not too busy she will pass the time of day, especially with the many regular customers! Her husband in the kitchen is lovely too, and their audible bickering is more entertainment value than anything. The food is the best in the area, I haven’t had a dish that I haven’t liked or that has disagreed with me. So full of flavour and always served piping hot so even if you’ve a short walk home it’s still hot when you get there. Wing Yip is incredibly reasonable too, way better priced than a lot of the takeaways in the area. The quality of the produce is top notch, no grisly or chewy bits. I’d recommend the food and the service but be prepared for a wait on weekends because of reputation and popularity it can get very busy, but that’s just how it should be!!!

I came across this take away about 5 years maybe longer when my daughter got me hooked on salt and pepper chips. The food is great and plentiful and good value which is why I am willing to travel 8 miles to get it. There is always a 20 minutes wait sometimes longer as its busy and always piping hot. First time you go you will be met by the nicest and politest front of house but when she disappears into the kitchen you may think world war 3 has broken out is norm. Salt and Pepper chips once tried never going back

Its actually called Wing Yip House now but google think their 10 year old street view is the deciding factor. Fantastic food, really fresh.

Great little takeaway tucked away in Stainland. Having lived in Manchester for many years with access to Chinatown, I can honestly say this food is among the best I have tasted. Friendly and incredibly courteous staff take your order (most people order by phone and are given a collection time) and your food is freshly prepared. I cannot say enough how good the food is!
