Edward Cuisine Restaurant in Calderdale

We ordered the chicken and lamb kebabs, both delicious. The salad was soo good, nice and fresh with balsamic vinegar on.. We ate the lot. Thank you!!

Placed order through Just Eat at 1900. Original delivery time was 2010 - 2030. Delivery time changed to 2110. Tried to ring the restaurant multiple times - no answer. Order never arrived. Order paid for and no contact has been made from the restaurant. Absolutely shocking. I will be going into the restaurant when I am next in Halifax and expecting a full refund.

Terrible terrible service ! Never answer phone and cancel orders without an excuse, has happened numerous times now ! Some food edible except for meatballs which are like the one's from a can !! Should be ashamed to call it Italian Cuisine. Be warned. Updated: No info on Facebook and i wasnt aware that the gas was somehow related to the phone lines? Others have complained about the same issues and recieved the same reply. Fake answer, Fake reviews, Fake Italian restaurant !

Ordered from here tonight it came late and the driver rang and said he had got to the street but it didn’t have a number on so he drove back to the restaurant to get this and drove all the way back and then rang to advise this and ask for the house number. why didn’t he ring to ask before he went back? The food was lovely but cold so disappointing.

I ordered through uber eats. 2 hours later and I am still waiting. I was told my order would be an hour. After 90 minutes I rang the restaurant who simply said they were busy but that the driver had set off. After 15 minutes my expected arrival time has changed to 2 hours after the order. I am still waiting. I understand restaurants are busy but it is simply polite to let customers know, and not acceptable to lie. I am concerned that my order won't arrive..

THIS IS THE BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT IN TOWN,Halifax Used to go there with my family and my mates,now they are refurbishing.and we still enjoy their takeaway service They are going to be back soon Highly recommended !!!

Nothink was fresh, made days before, pre heated and delivered, pooorest food I ever had, waist of money and time, all went to the bin. Do not recommend at all!!! Perhaps the following number will tell you something 984541385. The order was placed on my wife's name but that does not change the fact tha the food was poor. The reason I decided to try you restaurant is due to the amount of good reviews, but unfortunately I wasn't lucky at all today. Please explain a simple thing, why the chips are cold and wet instead of warm, dry and crispy? It is just 10 minutes driving in this Halifax and you can get on any of its sides, I am not gonna go through all the other bits, but you can give a call on the phone number registered with the above order and I or my wife will go in more detail.

Had spaghetti bolognese, penne stroganoff and a lasagne delivered. Best Italian I've had in years. Delivery was spot on and very friendly. It's a 5 out of 5 from us.

I ordered a kebab, a caprese salad and a cheesecake from just eat because I was looking for something different. It did not disappoint. Unlike 99% of food on just eat, it actually tastes like real food, and quite delicious food at that. Really well priced too for what it is. The salad was fresh and tasty, as was the salad that came with my kebab. The chips were seasoned perfectly and also tasted fresh. I enjoyed it so much i ordered again 2 or 3 days later which is saying something because I usually only order food once a month or so. I look forward to visiting this restaurant once the lockdown is over.

My new favourite place food is amazing

I was here with a couple (friends of mine) we ate so much food, we drank a lot and had desert as well. I can't thank enough to the oner ( the one in the picture) for the great atmosphere and services. I was very pleased with everything and price was excellent. I would deffo recommended this place for romantic and festive occasions.

Up in Halifax working with some friends. Popped in here for a Friday night dinner with 3 friends/colleagues as it looked interesting, busy and friendly. The food was excellent - hearty and very tasty. I’ve worked in Bucharest before and I really enjoy Romanian food generally, so great to find somewhere authentic where local people eat. We got to meet Edward, who is a very friendly guy and helped us with the menu. Just a really warm hearted place that deserves customers and love and support from the local community. Excellent.

I have never heard (apart from 2 of our friends) any English people who come here. Why? It's obviously very popular with Romanian customers the walls and ceiling are full of post-its with customers comments. The owner is from Bucharest. It's good honest food served in big filling portions at reasonable prices. Get out of your comfort zone and try something new! "mâncare excelentă mulțumesc" xx

This was my first experience of tasting Romanian food,I ordered a selection which they delivered and we totally enjoyed it.The potatoes which are cooked the Romanian way are the best Ive ever tasted,and I do love a potato or 2.

More food than I could eat and 500cl of good wine for under a score. After initial confusion because no one on site spoke English, they didn't seem to realise I might want food. I was settled in by the manager and they provided a feast which proves cooking is an international language.

Fain aici...nu mai venim...stai o ora jumate dupa mancare, oaia nu e comestibila, ceafa e de plastic...a daa si jumate din meniu nu-l au de fapt...dar e bun vinul.

Good food. We got the sarmali (sp) and mieteke (sp) which were like lamb dumplings and lamb sausage. Also got for side orders and shared amongst my wife and three kids.

As the other reviews say with a name like count Dracula we thought we must try it. I expected a little more of the theme to go into the restaurant but it stops with the name. The food was well served and well cooked, not a great deal of choice on the menu but we all found something. The traditional cold starter looked and tasted the best out of the dishes we had. All the mains we had was very nice. The host was great very welcoming and answered our questions. This is one to try if you are dining out in Halifax.
