Super spot, great coffee and delicious for at good price. Would recommend the store salmon and cream cheese bagel although my husband loves his bacon egg and sausage bap. Very polite and welcoming staff.

Sentado en el jardín de cerveza y disfrutado de una excelente pinta de Rata Blanca, hecho todo lo mejor por ser solo £ 2. 80 la pinta. Servicio muy amable y que admite perros también. Después de años de extrañar este lugar, volveré.

I don't very often feel compelled to leave a review but wanted to share with you this beautiful little restaurant which had been highly recommended by some friends. The food was cooked to perfection, the table service outstanding and front of house extremely welcoming. The portions are very generous and the lamb shank just melted in the mouth. Buttery mash a must! The treacle sponge and custard was just delightful. This is the only restaurant we have ever been to where you are presented with a complimentary cup and saucer containing home cooked soup - what a lovely little gesture. Whilst the restaurant may be slightly remote, it is definitely worth the visit as it is surrounded by beautiful countryside why not go for a ramble and finish with a beautiful meal 10 out of 10 - we'll definitely be back

Toasted cheese sandwich was sadly lacking. Two thin slices of toast and a small amount of cheese. Americano and flat white coffee lacked coffee. Toilets were unclean. Won’t be visiting again.

Lovely little cafe with great food and great service. Can highly recommend the toasties! Will definitely return for lunch again.

Lovely little café selling hot drinks, cakes and breakfast/brunch. The staff were really nice and helpful! They also have good vegan options, which I really appreciate, especially for such a small town café :) The flapjack was good — not too sugar-y like many flapjacks are. Couldn’t resist also getting some handmade earrings from the range of art/crafts/food gifts on sale.

Got rushed through meal and asked to leave table a few minutes after finishing main course! No offer of coffee or dessert just got given the bill then asked to leave table. It appeared that a very large party of teenage boys had been booked in which took up most of the restaurant. They ( whilst being very polite and respectful) were waiting for several Members of staff their party and an hour after their booking time they had still not ordered. That meant the rest of us were rushed out to accommodate guests that were patiently waiting to be seated. The food was lovely and very knowledgeable staff but the whole evening was spoiled for us by being rushed through our meal and asked to leave the table one hour and two minutes after arriving and seven minutes after finishing our main course. Very very disappointed. We won’t be going back despite being very locals to us. Cinnamon spice it is next time!

Our 2nd visit to this lovely cafe/bar. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The cafe is nice and clean and the staff are very friendly. Coffees and milkshakes are delicious too. I would definitely recommend a visit here.

We are a party of twelve and have just had a lovely meal the food was great and the service and staff were excellent. Would definitely recommend and we will be going again.

The cups were dirty and chipped (all three of us had a chipped cup) The cheese on the cheese toastie was cheap and didn't taste of anything. this is more like a greasy spoon cafe but well over priced for that.

Total rip off, worst food in a long time. Never again. What a load of crap, put most of it straight in the bin. Avoid at all costs, ate some of it, got stomach cramps and one hour later threw it all up 😡😡😡

Friendly local pub that has great beers and service. It reputably has some great food on offer over the weekend, especially Sunday lunch, for which you need to book.

It is a beautiful place but it is very badly run . We stumbled to this place on a sunny Sunday afternoon and ordered some drinks and food from the large menu . What can I say it took more than 2h for a pizza and some bar snacks to arrive . Multiple members of staff were telling me ‘ sorry we are very busy ‘ , ‘the food is just plated’ only to find out that the kitchen not even stated to prepare it . And we weren’t the only one with missing food …People complain that pubs are shutting down but when the place is badly run and don’t appreciate customers , unfortunately this is going to happen. Maybe make the food menu small , get more staff on busy days or just stops taking food order . We won’t be returning that’s for sure .
