Tasty food. Friendly staff but greedy with the small portions.

Never had a problem, we use every week and have done for years, food is excellent. Tonight we were missing an item and I rang to tell them. I'm not sure who was manning the phone but he went to check out the back and came back and told me that I had definitely the item insinuating I was lying which I most definitely wasn't. I order from here every week and most certainly wouldn't lie about a nan bread 🙄. Better customer service from this individual would be appreciated.

Coffee good and young lady serving very friendly and polite. Staff in the back preparing food with no gloves and getting orders missed or wrong but blaming others for their shortcomings

Beautiful food all served piping hot and attractively displayed. We had six dishes plus a basket of bread between the two of us - we couldn’t finish it all! Great service in nice surroundings. With a bottle of wine the bill came to just over £60 - incredible value. It’s a shame there weren’t more people dining, although we were there very early in the evening before heading over to the nearby - and equally excellent - Foxlowe Arts Centre to see comedian Rich Hall. A great night much-enhanced by some great food.

Just popped in for a coffee. Others have complained about the service and the coffee but I had a great coffee and really friendly efficient service. Sadly, I think this place used to be a Costa and, like most of the other Costa it's run down and mucky! The floor was clean enough, the staff were clearing the tables but the fabric on the chairs needed a good clean or just recovering completely! Waterstones need to refurbish the place, and probably get the hygiene people (or whoever) in to sort out the mouse!! I won't be going in again unless I know it's gone, I wonder if environmental health are aware?

I have had some lovely food here and the offer on Thursdays and Sundays are good. I just felt a Lack of customer friendliness for me and understanding. It spoilt my birthday. Watch out for the jalfreizi. It’s hot!

I used to love this coffee shop because of the domed ceiling feature in the rear space. But since the booths have been added to the front space, the service has changed and the feel of the whole place. The coffee is very good but I only had a croissant as it was a quick light breakfast. There is some interesting info about coffee and the brand on the walls!

Lovely Breakfast Enjoyed a full English and vegetarian breakfast. Clean, friendly, nice atmosphere. Would definitely visited again, disappointed they were closed on the Sunday

Came across this place today and thought we’d give it a try and boy am I glad we did. Service was excellent and welcoming and the food was great, fresh , very tasty and really well presented. This really was like being in Rhodes or any restaurant in Greece or it’s islands Excellent

The chips are anemic and raw , the fish is defo frozen fish not fresh and is so greasy and the kebab is like something off the bottom of your shoe definitely will not be using again

Me and my wife love going here as the staff are great and help picking a dish for the wife.and the food always comes out hot and delicious 😋

Very well presented food good service not rushed and food very tasty. A good sized menu to choose from

We have been to sohas a few times now and the food has always been lovely , fresh , hot and extremely good value for money. The staff are very friendly and you can take your own drinks will definitely be going again.
