The best restaurants in West Midlands

First class food and service, and a great atmosphere. There were 4 of us dining together on Thursday 19th September and all of us thought it was excellent! The Entouraj was, yet again, so good!

What a fantastic pub. The food is amazing and accommodation great. I was travelling on my own for my dog to have eye surgery and was warmly welcomed and looked after. The service was over and above. I got back late after surgery complications and ordered food which was kindly brought to my room rather than me collecting from the pub as U was exhausted. 2 breakfasts and 2 evening meals and all was top class. Beautiful architecture too.

Brilliant pub and Michelle is so accommodating. Popped in during a canal trip, couldn’t wish for a better welcome

My first visit here today, won't be the last. I had the halloumi on brioche bun with avocado, salsa, salad and delicious potato wedges, then huge slice of carrot cake, possibly the most moist I have ever tasted.

Four adults visited on a Saturday evening, it’s rather small but atmospheric. Food could not be faulted in any way what so ever. Complimentary vegetable pakoras were truly outstanding. Portion sizes were prefect and price extremely reasonable. It’s cash only but cash point literally next door. Take your own alcohol, no problem with us whatsoever. Child friendly. Lovely staff. Oh I nearly forgot complimentary mini magnums also !!!! Never felt rushed, really nice evening out. The only thing that I can say let this place down was the seats, they were so uncomfortable and the flocking had come out of them so they were just flat and not very pleasant, we were assured a refurb was happening so fingers crossed they will get better chairs to compliment the outstanding food here.

Popped in on a Saturday afternoon on way to Ludlow. Great atmosphere. Busy. Good beer. Very welcoming.

I went here for an evening meal. Wish I hadn't! Unfortunately it was the only eating place within a reasonable driving distance. All the comfortable seats were occupied by a quiz night, so I had to perch on a bar stool in front of a pool table between 2 large TV screens. The choice of food was quite limited and uninspiring. I wouldn't be tempted to repeat the experience.

A birthday lunch for Mum. The food was absolutely superb as usual. If you haven't tried the chips, you haven't lived!

This review is on behalf of my Dad who wants to review but isn't on internet. Gorgeous cafe. Beautifully decorated. Treated my Dad to brunch. The food was incredible. My Dad had banger eggs and thoroughly enjoyed it. He can't wait to return and try something else on the menu. He said the coffee was delicious too !

Many times they messed up the order and used ingredients that can't even be messed up, instead of peppers they gave sausage

Yesterday my sister and I decided to go to the shed for Sunday lunch, the meat was exceptional, the staff held our plates and served us veg standing along side us, one of the ladies said we started this during Covid and have decided to carry on with it because we like it this way, it’s no good saying things are not as good since Covid, perhaps people don’t like being served like school dinners, we didn’t like it but there was no option to serve smaller amounts ourselves, it isn’t always about convenience or what the waitress wants, customer satisfaction needs to return because mainstream Covid is gone bring back a level that illustrates customers are welcome

A most spectacular place, farmhouse, accommodation, pub and restaurant. Nice selection of daily specials on the menu, fresh, home cooked,good portions and tasty. Friendly staff, wonderful barn renovated as restaurant. Roaring fire and Tesla charging station too!

Absolutely brilliant. From the food to the service,I have zero complaints. Very well priced and you’re getting much higher quality compared to other restaurants. You could tell the food was made fresh and I honestly cannot say there wasn’t a single item that was bad. The staff were incredibly friendly as well. Truly a hidden gem.

Great place very busy but they still catered to my needs. Decent wine and the food was gorgeous. Fresh and tasty cannot fault it. I will be back deffo top place
