Shed Food and Drink in Wychavon

Yesterday my sister and I decided to go to the shed for Sunday lunch, the meat was exceptional, the staff held our plates and served us veg standing along side us, one of the ladies said we started this during Covid and have decided to carry on with it because we like it this way, it’s no good saying things are not as good since Covid, perhaps people don’t like being served like school dinners, we didn’t like it but there was no option to serve smaller amounts ourselves, it isn’t always about convenience or what the waitress wants, customer satisfaction needs to return because mainstream Covid is gone bring back a level that illustrates customers are welcome

Should be renamed Karen's Diner (as per venue in birmingham). I've introduced many friends to Shed as decent value for money meals. But my lunch get to together with a friend was so bad it's hilarious. I dared to ask if our lunch would be much longer after a 30min wait which was met with a combative attitude. For the notso charming "waitress' to eventually slap our plates down in front of us then THROW cutlery down. She is unpleasant, rude and abrasive.

We went to the Shed today for breakfast and yes, the food was lovely! The young waitresses were kind and helpful and as always, serving with a smile. The Shed is home from home, so if you like a relaxed atmosphere with great food, I would highly recommend booking!

Arrived at 12-30 Sunday 3 Dec for carvery - no signs of meat and room was freezing Burrrr so I ordered a coffee which took 10 mins to arrive People who had booked table at 1 pm arrived , meat came out at 1-05 but Chef started to fill takeaway orders into containers . All present were complaining at wait Some people left due to wait. At 1-30 went to chef who was still doing takeaway orders and was told he still had 5 takeaways to complete so we left, What a shambles GET YOUR PRIORITIRES- RIGHT 30 + CUSTEMERS WERE KEPT WAITING AS A RESULT OF TAKEAWAYS AND POOR SERVICE

Initially I tried to contact via telephone, after ten failed attempts I gave up. I decided to visit, tocheck out the cafe on my own, with an intention of subsequently going with friends, however, after experiencing virtually no customer service, we'll be dining elsewhere!

Popped in for a cup of coffee while on at work. Service wasn’t great. Only one table occupied but the member of staff behind the counter said she was busy and another member of staff saw us standing at counter and came from sitting at a table and served. Advertised breakfasts and food looked good value but didn’t have time to eat. Coffee was ok, reasonably priced and brought to the table. Would like to try The Shed again and visit their farm shop if I have more time. Place was clean and tidy. 3 stars for less than average service initially.

Fantastic value for money, we love going for tea & breakfast after a dog walk. Great quality food. Would have been 5 stars but the front of house girl on the counter has zero customer service skills & looks at you like a bad smell.

We booked Sunday Lunch for 1pm, we arrived at 12.50 to a table of staff sat down giving us unwelcoming looks as we walked through the door. We found our table with name on only for 2 of them to shout over if we had booked a table. Once seated one of the young girls came over and asked for a drinks order, we had no menu to pick from and when we asked for a diet coke they did not have any. There was no diet drinks on offer at all, also asked for a J20 and they never had this either, bit difficult to know what to ask for without knowing what they have available. 1pm came and the carver started dishing up what looked like approx 15 takeaway containers, the waitress staff was then adding the veg to them. This meant we was sat for 20 minutes being ignored, an elderly couple walked in and was ignored so got up and walked out again when they got fed up of waiting. We had no idea how long we would be waiting and none of the staff was interested in serving us or letting us know when we could head up for the carvery. I got up to take a look at the carvery selection only to be pounced on ready to be told to sit back down until I said I was only looking. After over 20 minutes had gone by we decided to go online and book a table elsewhere. The staff member who looked in charge was taken aback that we was leaving but said we did not have to pay for the drinks. The food looked nice and good value for money but the service has to be the worst I have ever experienced. Needless to say we will not be returning.

Turn up at 10.15 on a Sunday morning to be told we stopped doing breakfast. Don't waste your time bothering going you will be disappointed. First and last time we will try them, they turned away at least 10 people while we were there.

I googled this place and read the reviews and they were right ! Top quality English breakfast and tea served with care and all for a very reasonable price . I'm not a veggie but fancied the veggie breakfast served with sausages I swear taste better than pork sausages . Try them

We have eaten breakfasts here on several occasions over the last 4 or 5 years and stopped there again in Nov 2022. This time there were three of us and we all had something different. The food was served fairly quickly as we sat at our roomy table by a pleasant member of staff. The value was as good as one would expect to get in your average truck stop (and, perhaps, a bit cheaper than some). And the quality was good as well. The standard breakfast menu was enhanced by also having bagles available; something not usually found in the average café. We called first thing on a Saturday morning before the heating had really had a chance to kick in so the room was a little on the chilly side but that is the only down side to report. So, yes, we would expect to eat there again.

We have visited The Shed on many occasions and have always been impressed with the freshly cooked food and the service. Today we had a meal and the meal itself was delicious as always. On this occasion we were served by a young teenage girl. She acted as if she didn’t want to be there. No welcome, no smile in fact quite abrupt and disinterested. Such a pity as the service in the past has always been amazing. If it was our first meal there, I would probably not return based upon this persons attitude.

WHEN you find a place that cooks everything from fresh it is worth stopping at and giving it a try you will not be disappointed, i have never left there hungry . (STUFFED YES)

Super variety of meals on offer and at very reasonable prices. Generous portions and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Love this place! I have been a few times now and the food is always yummy, fresh and clean. Lovely Latte- milky coffee Quiet but polite staff. Child friendly

God value for money and the breakfast was nice and warm. Very quick and effective service in and out in less than 30mins

You can’t beat the Carvery, 3 sizes to choose from, all freshly prepared and cooked, great selection of veg and choice of 3 different potatoes - you can’t fault the place nothing is too much trouble for the staff

Was mediocre, had better , the bacon needed cooking, to undercooked, beans spread out could of counted them., the coffee was horrible, the little plum tomato looked lost .

First time me and my husband had been here together, I had last been here a few years ago, and it had changed considerably. We both had breakfast, he had the small and I had the vegetarian, they were excellent and really good value, and staff were really friendly. It is only on our doorstep so will definitely be going again.

Been coming here and to the sister venue at Winnall Park for 2 years! Great places to eat & drink, love the options to eat off the menu and Chef Paul always makes you feel welcome! Fantastic food for the price too.

The staff here are wonderful and can’t do enough for you! I am very picky about food and the owner is always happy to cater to my fussyness and doesn’t make me feel awkward about it. Every time we have been we have felt welcome and as of we were guests. Staff are attentive and friendly, nothing is ever too much bother. The food itself is always amazing!

By far the best full english in everyway and very good value for money, I have also heard that the fish and chips amongst other food there are really nice and good value. Great loactaion and food, gunna have to reccomend this boiz. 🤙🤙🍽👍

Trying to find a good takeaway meal to celebrate my husband's 75th birth. was proving difficult until we cam across the SHED Food and Drink. . We ordered two beef dinners and they were delivered shortly after, piping hot and with plastic cutlery as we were on the road.We can honestly say that this was the best Sunday lunch that we have ever had.The beef was beautifully cooked and served with a good mix of vegetables.Now that we know that this little gem exists, we will visit it more often.It provides a wide variety of meals which are currently takeaway due to lockdown.They are open every day from 8am -1pm Wednesday- Saturday 5-7pm and have specials on Friday. .

OMG what a lot of food for the price. Being the gannets that myself and my husband are we ordered the big breakfast. In one way a bit of mistake since it was way too big for one person. In another way it tasted so good. Food was plentiful and flavoursome. I can totally see why they were so busy because food was gorgeous. We will definitely be back again although I think it will be a regular breakfast next time.

Stopped off here to get some decent food after not having much luck in stourport. What can I say? It’s a great little cafe with friendly and accommodating staff. Very generous with their portion sizes, I left a happy bunny! (And a fat one!) they could do with tidying the front up a little, their are greenhouses outside and odd plant pots here and there, perhaps they could make it a little more inviting to people passing by after all it is a roadside cafe and they should try to grab customers. Overall a pleasant dining experience. If you want good value for money and some decent food then this is the place to go

I have visited the shed a few times for Sunday lunch and I always enjoyed it the choice of 4 meats and vegetables were really good However it has now been turned into a carvery not so good there was pork and beef the pork had all gone so just beef left which I have to say was lovely but not quite cooked enough for my friends. I felt really bad as I said how lovely the food was when I had visited before.some of the vegetables were cold roast potatoes were not very nice either I personally would prefer it when you had a choice of meats and the pleasent service I know the The Shed isn't Buckingham place but it was down to earth no frills place but food was good!!!

Food and staff were both very,very good we will be going back to have a breakfast here WE will be telling lots of friends about this place

Stumbled upon the Shed on my way elsewhere, a traditional wayside cafe that offers great home cooked and freshly prepared food. Generous portions and good quality coupled with great service mean that I will be using this restaurant regularly when I am in the area.

A scruffy place inside and out. We walked across car park and didn't like the look of it. Inside noisy and greasy smell in the air. Looked a bit rough so we left.

Visited again & ordered 'The Shed' breakfast - again. Fantastic meal, really tasty & fresh. Service was great & staff were really friendly. Thank you again

having used and recommended the shed for its fantastic food and friendliness since it opened we were most upset that we were asked to go into bar to talk because bingo was being played, we were far enough away to chat and we could have complained about the noises the players were making when certain numbers were called but wouldn’t stoop so low, I think they were very rude to complain about us, we really enjoyed our food again and the young girl who served us is lovely and pleasant but we won’t be visiting again

Friendly and pleasant service even when busy. Food is good and excellent value. Good location with small garden centre and play area for kiddies.

Took my mom (91) for the Wednesday roast ... Great decision , it was superb and only £5...so had pudding too ...also lovely !

Popped in on our way to an event for breakfast and coffee to set us up for the day.

Walked in here for the 1st time and was asked to sit dowm and someone would be over to take our order, 10 minutes later and after trying to get the attention of staff we walked out. 2 staff members were too busy chatting to each other and making a few coffees while the other girl was running around like a headless chicken taking food orders out. There were a few people in but a bit of acknowledgement would have made me wait a little bit longer. Won't be going again

I would give this place half a star if it was an option. We brought some children here after a farm visit for some lunch before returning them to their parents. We rang ahead to make sure they had availability and a children's menu which they confirmed they had both. We arrived maybe 10 minutes later and was told there was a good 30 minutes wait. We would assume they would of told us this on the telephone but as we were there we agreed we would wait. We ordered straight away due to the children having to get back to their parents. Around 40 minutes had past and we still hadn't received their food so I popped up to the desk to ask for an eta as we planned on been around an hour in total. I was told their was 2 tables in front of us and we would be next in around 15 minutes. I explained we were told 30 minutes wait on food and that we needed to get the children back. The lady said she would have a word with the kitchen and come over to our table to let us know what was happening. By this time we had been waiting for around 45 minutes. A waitress came over abruptly and asked what the problem was. We explained how long we had been waiting and our concern that we still had another 15 minutes to wait according to the lady we previously spoke to. She then replied in a annoyed manner, that she had told us it would be a 30 minute wait (already been 45 plus and other estimated 15 minutes doesn't add up to 30 minutes) we appreciate sometimes things take longer than expected bit the children were all having nuggets and chips which takes minutes and could of be cooked together. We explained that it had been longer than the 30 minutes and we we're wondering of the kitchen were willing to offer something as a good will gesture to appologis for our wait. To which she responded well you can either wait or not wait. She was extremely rude and I have no idea how the hell she works in customer services as she has 0 experience or manners for that matter. I said there was no need for her attitude as it was the kitchen at fault and we out wanted to get the food and go. She said she would give us 4 free drinks for the kids which in total was around £2. Not a fat lot seen as we didn't have time to give the children the free ice cream they should of had with their meals. In total by the time the food came out it had been 90 minutes and the kids were starving. Never again would i come here as I think manners go a long way. And our waitress had none what so ever. Maybe think about changing your staff. I would like to say that there was a young lady tidying away and prepping cutlery was very polite and deserves a medal for working alongside her co-worker

Easy parking, really friendly staff and hearty, tasty food. Nothing fancy but all dishes coming out of the kitchen looked good. Would be a good meeting place for groups.

Visited recently with family for a meal. Decided on 'The Shed Big Breakfast'. Good choice, it was fantastic. Plenty to eat, including Black pudding & toast and everything cooked to perfection. Great friendly staff, very attentive. Great price too for a lovely meal. Thank you all

Family meal for 6. We had the Sunday lunch. The food was piping hot. Some had the lamb and the others had beef. The roast potatoes were lovely and crispy. There was cauliflower cheese and broccoli, carrots, cabbage and new potatoes. Everyone had a Yorkshire pudding. Gravy came with the meat in the plate. Service was good. I can understand why there was so many customers. For £7.95 you cannot go wrong. The only negative I could say was is that there was no sprouts. For me I didn’t mind but my husband loves them! Ugh

Myself and my daughter regularly go for an all day breakfast. Never had any complaints. They are very welcoming, service is always fast and the food is always of a high standard and very tasty. Would highly recommend 'The Shed' to anyone who wants a satisfying meal, light lunch, a sandwiches(hot or cold), cakes & hot or cold beverages

The fireworks night was amazing. Best bonfire I have seen in years and at least 20 minutes worth of spectacular fireworks. Incredible, family formerly and actually affordable! Fully recommend, definitely going next year! Great night had by all, a proper local celebration 🍾

What an amazing night we had, didn't disappoint in anyway. Organisation was brilliant from parking to facilities, food and of course fireworks. I would highly recommend this event for next year. We use the shed regularly for our Sunday lunch and drive 30 minutes to get here but wouldn't go anywhere else we love the food, the staff are always helpful and polite. Keep up the good work.

A hearty and tasty cooked breakfast for a good price. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the coffee not too bad.

Clean and basic premises. Corned beef hash was tasty. Vegetables that came with it were overcooked. Apple betty and custard was good. 2 courses and a mug of tea was about £10.

Simple place with lots of character. Very easy going but friendly service.

Very poor service, with a miserable waitress who offered poor public service skills. The dinner plates were cold meaning food went cold quickly. The prawns had not had not been deveined meaning we had to do it ourselves at the dinner table. Whole place looked grubby and dirty. Will not be back again.

After holding our Wedding Party at the Shed on Saturday 8th September, just had to say what an amazing time was had by all thanks to Paul, Lou and their fantastic team of staff.

Had a big breakfast for myself and family. All i can say is great ,food, and very good value for money. Nice staff. we were also served very quickly, plenty of spaces to sit. will defiantly return

We were staying in stourport and only came across this place dur to its name whilst looking for somewhere to eat in the rain. Although it doesn't look much from the road this place had a nice atmosphere and was perfect for our group with 2 children. We all enjoyed our Sunday lunches. Roast potatoes were very good. The only minor thing was we asked if they had any chips for one of the children and they said they didn't do the other menus on a Sunday. That's fine but they then did a plate of chicken nuggets and chips for another family who came in a few minutes after us.

Fantastic food great staff and a lovely friendly atmosphere. My partner and I absolutely love it here. Everyone makes you feel very welcome.

Three of us and our little Jack Russell visited here for lunch yesterday, we sat in the bar because of the heat. The menu was more than adequate for lunch time, the food was warm, well presented and reasonable sized portions, the salad was very fresh and colourful. . They even bought a cooked sausage our for MoMo our Jack, he was very impressed as we were, how kind and thoughtful. The surroundings are functional and service first class, no complaints at all. I would recommend a visit here, they do a nice roast dinner on a Wednesday night.

First visit after hearing good reports. Extensive menu and a good selection of meals. Down to earth food and it all sounded good. Three of us found it hard to make a choice so going back again to savour something else. Surprised to see a bar but only ordered shandy’s as it was a hot day.Staff were very pleasant and took our order at the table.Interesting to see that they have music events too. Was impressed with the veg. Cooked just to our liking.

I went to The Shed for the first time for my Sister in Laws birthday. My SIL and MIL visit on a regular basis. It's a bizarre and quirky set up in a converted garden centre, but you instantly feel welcomed as soon as you walk through the door. The owner (Paul I think) is very welcoming and friendly, he went out of his way to talk to us which was lovely.

Brilliant cafe stop for any cycle ride. Tea comes in big mugs as it should. Great choice of bacon baps etc or cakes. Really great prices. Local A road is a bit busy but within 400 meters you can get off onto quieter roads. Good metal fence to secure bikes in full view of cafe.

Best full English around here!!

The Shed may look a little quirky from the outside, as it still somewhat maintains the appearance of a garden centre,However inside you are in for a treat.Better value home cooked meals you wont find anywhere.The staff and owners are good ,honest and friendly.We eat here regularly. Breakfasts are to die for and a large menu for lunch and dinner is full of tasty home cooked proper meals.Theres also the bonus of a very well stocked bar there with a great range of beers and ciders.Its sometimes difficult to find a reason to leave! Keep up the great service Paul and co. and many thanks.

We held our wedding reception at The Shed yesterday what can i say.

Popped in for breakfast with my family, wouldn't say they were overly busy but we had to ask for a waitress after 15 minutes.

All meats from their own farm and delicious they are as well. Paul who owns shed food and drink made us so welcome along with all his staff . We came to their bonfire and fireworks display and that was also very well organised and fireworks display was a full half hour. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic service and great food.

As Travelodge doesn't do breakfasts we were recommended the Shed. I'm glad we were. Food was good and nothing was too much for the friendly staff.

Our visit was at a time when we were tired from travel & too much to do. Being fed such a generous plateful & big mug of tea, with no fuss & friendly smiles in a relaxed easy going atmosphere was a welcome tonic. Great value in a clean spacious setting. Glad to see so many vegetarian options on the menu.

We are a family of 6, staying at a local hotel, theirs breakfast prices were ludicrous, so I googled where to go, and so glad I did! Their staff are willing and happy to help, happily making any adjustments for "fussy" eaters, (my children range from 4-10)

Really don't get the last review. Went there recently, staff very friendly and 'clean' as it happens!! Food very nice and they had my favourite cider on draught. Nice relaxed atmosphere.

Just had a very nice sunday lunch here(my wife and I)roast beef for me pork for my wife.Very nice,piping hot plates and veg,s to serve yourself,followe by lemon meringue pie with cream and ice cream.price including a glass of wine and a lager and lime a vet reasonable £28,Avery nice meal with excellent service,will definately go again.

The big breakfast is a real monster breakfast and great value. I like the ';build your own' availability on items at 50p each you can have exactly what you want and the amount you want. I can highly recommend the Poached Eggs on toast, with Bacon and Mushrooms.All the food looks amazing and the prices are really good - great value for money for the portion sizes and for the choice.The pudding list looks wonderful.Don't expect the delivery of the food to be immediate this isn't MacDonalds, this food is cooked fresh so be prepared to wait not only for the cooking to be done but also there is normally a few tables to be served before you........always a good sign loads of people eating!I will be returning - it is now a family favourite.

I returned recently to The Shed where I have very happy memories of asking for a special Gluten Free Roast Dinner with of course extra gravy ! Friendly service It was just as good as I recall with the roast potatoes soft in the middle.Since the last time I visited I have been to Cocos Island the far side of Perth in Australia almost as far as you can go before falling off the edge of the world. Yet the lady still recognised me immediately asking where have you been

Went with husband for Saturday lunch. Food was wonderful. Husband had Tomato and Basil soup. He said it was the best soup he had ever had. The pie was made fresh. OK had to wait a long time but worth it has everything done fresh. We are going for Sunday lunch.

We knew that the former coffee shop at the garden centre had been turned into a restaurant/bar, but when we saw the"Coffee shop open" banner outside at 11:15, we decided to give them a visit.It really is a restaurant also serving breakfasts and breakfast items, and the menu reflected that, with some limited cakes advertised as desserts. We settled for a toasted teacake as they had no scones or pastries.What we had was good value, but this is not a "coffee shop" but rather a home-style restaurant and I can't comment on how good it is in its real role.

Portion sizes are massive! Everything home made and tasted gorgeous. Very good value for money. Staff are lovely too. Highly reccommend!

Popped in the shed today for the first time after being recommended and i must say i wasn't disappointed i choose the small shed breakfast and my partner had the big shed and thats exactly what he got it was huge and all cooked to perfection we will definitely be going back especially for fish Friday I've heard its fab well done guys keep up the good work

You just can not beat the value this place offers in its food! I had the corned beef hash and was left absolutely stuffed, also chose to wash it down with pint of local ale HPA from the bar. The place was busy but only added to the visit, be back soon.

Good value but sadly the poor service I received today let it down. Waited 50 minutes for our breakfasts!Had to remind the waitress that we hadn't received our toast. We finished our breakfasts, toast still hadn't arrived. I mentioned this to the waitress but she just tutted. Not even an apology. Sadly we both agreed we wouldn't come again.

I have had various meals here in the past, all were piping hot and plenty of it. If you haven't had a breakfast here you don't know what you've missed. You won't eat another one for a week after they are huge. Waiting time can be a drag but we'll worth the wait. Brilliant. Gill Brooks.

Top food, homebred and cooked just right, we visit for breakfast at least once a week great value for great food, tonight we had the Mother's Day meal £15 for 3 courses and it was amazing, very friendly staff always make you feel welcome, cannot recommend this place enough

Superb Sunday roasts with loads of lovely veg, and always a veggie option, , followed by delicious puddings. Very reasonable prices for food and drinks and always a friendly welcome. Highly recommended.

Nice little old nursery have been here for breakfast a fair few times. The staff are generally friendly and helpful. I like the shed mainly because of the big shed breakfast which is very good value for money and is great hangover cure will fill anybody. Ingredients aren't anything special but tasty nevertheless. The only thing that lets it down really is sometimes it can take a really long time for your food to come if its busy as they only cook the food table by table. Also there is a bar there so if you fancy a beer with your breakfast before a lads day out you can have one here.

Why eat plastic food from a plastic pub when you can eat quality home made food prepared and served by lovely friendly people
