Popped in last night as were were staying at the Angel hotel have to say the staff were so friendly and chatty The fish and chips were amazing and I will be returning and will definitely pop in I would recommend this chip shop Yummy

I used to come here all the time when I lived in Throckmorton - but have since moved around. Finally stopped by to have my favourite chicken kebab and chips. I’m so happy to see they haven’t changed at all and tastes absolutely incredible STILL almost 2 years on!! The staff are really lovely so super quick. Thank you Newlands 🖤

Amazing fish and chippy. We drive to Pershore rather than use the chippy less than 100 yards from our house. Good food, great staff and always amazing banter! Wouldn’t go anywhere else x

We've been going here on occasion for years, their food is always really well cooked and the portion sizes are generous. In fact it often puts chippies to shame when you're on holiday and they don't compare to your local back home.

Honestly one of the best meals of my life. I am not sure anything will ever live up to my experience here. If it was a dream I never want to wake up.

Phoned through a big order (15 persons) great service over the phone, they read make and confirmed. Was expecting a longer wait for Collection however they said ready in 25mins. Collected and the order was ready all boxed up. Great food every one demolished their food, definitely will be order again

I ordered a gluten free sausage and chips, fish and chips and nuggets. Wasted £20 only thing edible was the fish and sausage :( left hungry when was really looking forward to having something i could eat!

This used to be our go to for fish and chips but after this event no more. having collected and got back home, the wife's fish was absolutely diabolical. It was just like batter with no fish. Flat as a pancake. I should have persevered and returned it back to the chippy, but being 2 miles away and all settled down it was decided to stay put . We will try another chippy in Pershore next time.

just terrible, the fish and chips weren't even that good. It used to be really good but now everything is greasy and barely hot at all. and for the price you would have expected a lot better.

I do love ❤️ the newlands. Favourite chippy of ours. Freshly cooked, I love a mini fish 🎣, chips and mushy peas. Staff are always so friendly too.

We used Newlands to supply and deliver over 50 meals on Saturday. The service offered was amazing. They were so helpful and went out of their way to answer any questions. The food arrived hot and was absolutely delicious, thanks team Newlands.

Take the boys in for their weekly treat, and they are always made so very welcome. They just love the fish/sausages/chips/curry sauce, and so do I. Great food and the best chips ever. It's our go-to chippy.

Been twice Won’t bother again, I think the chips had been warmed up from lunchtime, And were still not very warm , No good complaining as they shouldn’t be like it in the first place, Horrible 😡

Amazing value and fantastic food - just what was needed after a hard week to get the weekend off to a flier. Staff were chatty and also lovely to see the place being cleaned during a quiet time. Obviously put a lot of effort and pride in their products and their standards. First class - the best burger I’ve had in years and the chips were delicious. Will come again for sure.

The best chip shop for miles. Have been back several times and never had a bad experience. We travel 16 miles to eat there.

Came all the way from Worcester yesterday for some food out by the river as newlands fish bar had such good ratings and awards. Thought id give them a try, very impressed. The food was great and the prices are very reasonable. Staff was very polite and well mannered, will definitely be coming back.

My earlier review was mistakenly posted. Newlands Fish Bar is ALWAYS 5 star excellent. I have nothing but good things to say about them. My apologies to Newlands for my stupidity.

The service was very fast and friendly, the food is always amazing - I would highly recommend, it also has very nice vegetarian options.

I cannot recommend this fish shop enough. I went in last week and I was amazed by the warm welcome from the staff and how lovely and polite they all were, all my food was made fresh and the food was amazing quality with little waiting time, The portion sizes are more than generous and tasted amazing. Overall the best fish bar I have been to.

Newlands are absolutely brilliant. They delivered over 50 portions of fish and chips to our local wedding and everyone enjoyed every bite. Thank you so much for adding to the magic of our wedding and feeding our guests with delicious food.

Visited here on a Fri night after reading good reviews...what a mistake. I'm not exaggerating, the large fish was inedible. It was like hard rubber. The first mouthful was spat out because I thought it was raw. Honestly the worst fish I have ever eaten. The chips and the batter were okay, but the meal eat completely ruined. I would never return.

Went to this chip shop when visiting the local area. The staff all appeared miserable, I didn't even get a 'thank you' after paying for the massively over priced food. The mini fish was small and mostly batter, the large fish was tough and the peas were luminous! I would've taken it back if our campsite was closer. I don't know how this chip shop receives such good reviews, it was such a disappointment!

I don’t originate from Pershore, and I’m pretty picky with where I eat - so naturally when my boyfriend told me about Newlands I was sceptical. BUT FOR REAL this is the best place around. We order chicken meat and chips every time and every time we go they out do themselves. We had to go somewhere else on a day they were closed, never again. This is my chippy now. Fab Also the staff are lovely, especially the guy with dark curly hair and glasses!

I was wondering if it had changed hands as I haven’t been for such a long time and it use to be the best food around but not tonight I had a kebab no flavour at all done think it had touched a grill look like it was microwaved chicken pie was soft wet pastry and the chips were really dark and raw in the inside most of it went in the bin very disappointed It can’t be the same people as it was amazing before

Arrived up here on holiday, read reviews on local fish n chip shops and decided on Newlands. So glad we did, it was so tasty,portions were generous and well cooked. Friendly staff. A good find, really enjoyed it.

Working locally this was the nearest chip shop and thank goodness. Perfectly cooked chicken and chips served by Chris. A very accommodating man who offered a sample whilst waiting for the chicken to cook. Harry, the boss also as pleasant and clearly passionate about his shop and quality produce. I would highly recommend

Been here a few times at lunchtimes, last week was not so good however today was something different. Ordered two battered sausages and chips, chips were put back in the fryer for a short while then served up. We ate by the river and in all honesty the food was disgusting, the chips were raw in the middle and the sausages over cooked and hard with soggy batter, if parking was easier outside the premises they would have them back....last visit.

Best chippy tea we’ve had in a loooong time. Chips Divine. Lamb kebab; fresh, tasty and a huge portion, friends who had fish and chips, also had nothing but praise. Just wish we were locals and not visitors. 11 out of 10 !

Great service and terrific and freshly cooked haddock and chips. Not greasy fish and the massive amount chips were perfect. Visiting from Northamptonshire if we are in the area again we will definitely call in again.

Love my mini fish, chips and mushy peas. It was 5pm and freshly cooked. Never had a bad meal here. I can’t go too often, I’m supposed to be on slimming world :)

Ordered outside shop and waiting in line due to covid. Understandable etc. Very nice packaging and smaller portions. Fish was ok on two portions and the third was not good. Brown and bitty. Ordered one curry sauce and was charged and given 3 curry sauces....

Not being local, I hadn't been to this chip shop for probably 20+ years (it used to be our weekly Friday night chip shop). Now I assume the owners have changed over the years, however the fish and chips are as good as always. Good portion sizes and friendly staff.

Decided to try Newlands fish and chip shop as I was visiting the area. My Partner went to get fish and chips and noticed a sign saying Takeaway with a shutter door which was closed. After waiting 5 minutes without being noticed she went into the shop and being greeted by a Man behind the counter swearing and saying should of gone to Specsavers. Then he decided to speak loudly to his colleague saying that if you owned a house less than £250,000 pound you are peasant. VERY RUDE MAN

Talk about overpriced the what it is tried to charge me more than there board outside then tried to tell me that prices can be subject to change Small portions for something that's already overpriced for the size let alone with there fictitious prices In reply it states offers are subject to change not prices also consider price marking regulations oh and they kept my 20p change Wouldnt have minded but.ive actually been coming there years on and off even as a kid
