Everything is simply fantastic!

Very nice carvery. Good value. £14.99 . Nice pub, staff are wonderful and friendly. Would recommend.

Always been a great venue. Wonderful carvery. BUT!! Website is woefully out of date. If you want to book, phone, visit, on a Monday, FORGET IT. MONDAY IS CLOSED DAY never mind what the opening hours say. The advertised cheap carvery doesn't exist. The March Hare is closed on a Monday. I'm no IT Wizz Kid, but I wouldn't think it would be too difficult to change the wrong Website info. If it wasn't for the wrong information I would have given 5 stars. But, so much time phoning and waiting and then driving to and from pub to make a booking makes it a pain not a pleasure.

We hadn't been for some years after a mediocre experience, but oh my goodness, it has changed! Amazing value for money, lovely starters, a good range of vegetables on the carvery and good quality meat. I like that there are smallish containers of each veg so they stay fresh and are regularly replenished, instead of the massive dried out vats that some places favour. Would definitely recommend!

First time of going to March Hare we found it calm and relaxing, food was hot, fresh and beautifully tasty. Staff very pleasant.

Website does not say no carvery until 5.30 on Saturday. Wasted visit, rest of menu is over priced, like the drinks. £6 for two lime and sodas. Drank them, left and ate elsewhere. My wife got the drinks didn't tell me how much until we had left if I would have known we wouldn't have had them. No wonder it's £10 quid for a carvery, how much is the beer?

Not a great service, had to book online (tried calling 3 times which rung off) which was easy but did not say we had to sit in the bar area as we had a dog - i did detail this in the form. This would not have been a problem if the bar area was nice - it wasn't. 2 tables available which were not nice at all, one right next to the bar with the drinkers and the other opposite the fruit machine and pool table - lovely?? Not reviewing the food as we walked out without ordering, it was busy so can't be too bad.

Lovely food and great service! The outside garden bar is amazing.

March Hare now want me to get in touch to put this right. They had plenty opportunity at the time yet chose to be rude and blame me for their incompetence. Terrible customer service.

A nice lunch out with friends food could have done with being hotter

Lovely setting overlooking fields. We sat outside and had drinks and it was very pleasant. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent.

Terrible customer service. I ordered the vegetarian option at the bar and when I went to the carvery was told I hadn't ordered. No apology offered, all blame put on me when I'd done nothing wrong. I used to go here a lot. The choice of puddings is now sparse, many looking well past their best. Also, the carvery meat serving is less than half the size it used to be. The three course deal is no longer offered, disappointing many. Overall a terrible experience.

Carvery was very nice , couldn’t fault in any way, unfortunately let down on the desert hubby ordered the profiteroles mouse , and found what he thought was a hair in it , advised the waitress , who took it away with the hair , came back and said she had been told by her manager it was nylon off a cloth, no apology , no asking if we would like another pudding sorry customer , just some ice cream in a coffee cup !!!!, so happy to accept that a foreign object in your food is acceptable and doesn’t worthy an apology just a cup of ice cream , after some time shocked at the lack of customer service I asked to speak to the manager who conveniently wasn’t around !!, felt sorry for the waitress , manger didn’t even have the courtesy to speak to me , so you insulted me with no apology, just a coffee cup of ice cream , offered money back but will have to be cash , wonder why no reordered refund on your till , absolutely shocking , your turned a lovely birthday meal into a very poor experience.

I visited the March Hare Inn today and I have to say that it was a wonderful experience. I thoroughly recommend everyone to try the carvery. I went for the 2 course carvery for £10. Fresh produce, beef and turkey were very tasty boiled potatoes perfect roast potatoes were sooooo tasty. The staff are exceptional and friendly. I don't make many reviews but this time I just had to. Make sure you book first tho as it gets very busy 🙂

Lovely carvery, cannot fault £10 July offer for carvery & dessert. Drinks however were extortionate as others have mentioned and as a group we would not go back because of this. Get rid of the dessert (way to filling) in the offer and charge normal drinks prices.

An excellent Country pub. The 2 course special is VERY GOOD value. The Carvery.. .meat choices are good with an array of vegetables well cooked. Good choices of starters and puddings. The al a carte menu has a really good choice with the usual favourites....you won't leave hungry!!!

First time here but won't be the last. Carvery was beautiful, hot plate and hot food and very tasty. Plenty of choice of meat and veg. Friendly, helpful staff.

Haven’t been for ages, great to see the refurbishment. Excellent carvery, fresh veg, great desserts (seemed home made!). Great value for money.The house IPA was very quaffable. Definitely will be visiting again.

Can't fault the service which was exemplary, the food was well cooked and nicely presented and very tasty. The only thing that marred our booking was that they were overbooked and had a single table sat between a very large party and the carvery itself. They did however make every effort to make sure we were comfortable which was the case, hence no points deducted. We'd go again if we were nearby.

Staff friendly and helpful. food looked nice, although I wasn't eating. They do fish Fridays.

The food was great,no issues from our party of 4. It has a lovely garden space if you bring children. Overall it's about having a nice meal in nice surroundings and you get it all here

Absolutely brilliant ,food amazing service great, prices good ,but car park is a nightmare, crammed too many small tight spaces, damage (dings) inevitable.

Very disappointed. Was told they did not have the drink of my choice but I later saw it on the shelf. Paid for carvery and desert offer. Went to get my desert only to be told there was no vegan option. Told I could have a coffee instead but this did not arrive. Complained and told I could have a 5 pence refund !! Feel insulted and angry. Will never go again!

This place has so many memories for me, It’s a great place for all the family to meet up, the staff are great, food is amazing. What more can you say apart from it’s a MUST you go.

Ten pounds for a carvery and dessert! Staff are welcoming and courteous. Will definitely return, with bigger trousers.

Welcoming staff, fabulous food, cosy atmosphere

The carvery was superb, the beef was a bit dry, turkey and pork was excellent and moist. Would liked more if there was a lacto free stuffing as well as normal stuffing, would have liked a lacto free Yorkshire pudding. The vegan chocolate tart and vegan ice cream was tasty.

Great Carvery and Specials, very popular, booking recommended. Great outdoor area.

Wow what a lovely carvery and delicious desert,we went today 28/3/24 for a friend's 65th wedding anniversary celebration never been before but we'll impress by the lovely food ,good selection of drinks and very friendly staff. Will definitely be calling in again very soon.

The reason for a one star is because there was a long black hair in my roast potato and it definitely wasn't mine as iam blonde and the salted caramel cheesecake was still half frozen and didn't even get an apology

Good food and Menu,. However having a digestive disorder, finding the Vegetables semi raw, not really edible, possibly blanched in quickness, not every body can eat raw, not to mention food waste, as not economical, so might be an idea to take that bit longer to Cook properly this saving waste, and not enjoyable.

Food was excellent.Staff very friendly on the whole a superb pub But the only thing we didn't like it seems there are far too many tables in the pub felt like you was sitting on top of each other But on the whole nice place to visit We would go again

this was a last minute thing. it has changed dramatically since the last time there. it is basically a carvery. I looked at the carvery at 18-30 and the beef was cooked two days ago it certainly looked like it so I had the steak over priced and not good. one had the beef pie it looked good one had the fish and that was ok the two veggie burgers , tastless I was told. Back to the carvery the veggies looked fine.. I have never seen so many fat woen pilling their plates so it was falling off. and eat like a concrete mixer. it actually put me off. But if they had decent beef cooked rare or medium rare it would be good value

The Yorkshire puddings were very cold No warning of the plates being hot No warning of the step getting out Muliplue flooring which was no good has i came with a family member who is unsteady on there feet

The food was excellent, we had the 3 course deal, great value. The staff were very attentive & friendly, I would definitely recommend.

We know The March Hare very well and use it to meet up with our son and his family as it is mid way between our homes. The food was excellent and as it was 'Fish Friday' was even better value. '

Absolutely superb carvery for the price, but I'd recommend booking early as it gets very busy. Tables were a bit cramped for me and I didn't like having to pay £2 for a plastic takeaway box for my dessert as I was too full to eat it there and then. Highly recommended though regardless :)

We visited the March hare today for my nieces 14th birthday, had a 3 course meal for £12 ( which is a bargain and carvery is always amazing here) there was 8 of us, everybody’s starter came out but not mine, when I asked the young lad where my soup was, he said the chef is preparing it, 5 mins later as everyone had finish their starter mine has still not arrived, asked the young lad again where my soup was as everyone had fined theirs, he replied ( it’s not my fault go to the chef as he is preparing it, and your party are still eating, I replied yes a child is still eating but all adults have finished, he replied what ever. So I asked him what his name was and he said you don’t need to know my name, so asked a young curly haired girl at the bar what his name was, she replied I’m not telling you his name, I explained he was rude, she replied well you don’t need to know his name and walked off…… absolutely shocking attitude, what happened to customer service and happy customers disgraceful, I will never step foot in that place again

Brilliant! Carvery really good ! Though we were a bit shocked at the rise in price for December! Luckily it's back down to the price we'd paid before😂

Delicious food and helpful energetic staff

Been a while since my last visit. We booked for the carvery. It was excellent and i really enjoyed it. Meat and vegetables cooked just right and lovely gravy. Also had dessert which was excellent. Staff friendly and overall a very enjoyable evening.

This was our first meal at The March Hare and we were booked for 1230 . At £10 for a two course carvery this is excellent value. However you need to get to the carvery early , when we arrived at 1215 the queue was long so we waited a while. Consequently when we got there there was no pork ,dauphinoise or cauliflower cheese , carrots were cool and broccoli hard to cut. Puddings had run out of apple pie and profiterole pudding was still slightly frozen( the waitress did warn us of this). The checking in process seems wrong somehow , maybe the waitress booking you in shouldn’t be serving drinks to avoid a queue build up at the door. Our table 29 was in the garden room which is nicer than the crowded main room.

We live 70 miles away but meet a Worcester resident to have a Carvery here. Must be one of the best anywhere. Selection, price and seating, we prefer the back room overlooking the garden area.

A lovely surprise to be so warmly welcomed at the March Hare for an early dinner tonight. A young team of waiters & waitresses, obviously well-trained, courteous, attentive and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Delicious carvery, with everything perfectly cooked and very tasty. Thank you for a great experience! Well done, March Hare!

Sunday carvery was lovely. Left feeling completely stuffed.

The carver seemed to be in a rush and there was only 3 of us in the queue, he didnt even ask if we wanted yorkshire pudding he just put it on the plate, i must say the yorkshire was not as good as my sons we had on Christmas day. Also the carver was picking at the meat and eating it when he thought no one was looking.

I was with a group of friends celebrating a birthday. I had a delicious carvery meal, just the main course. A good portion of meat, a very wide range of well cooked vegetables and accompaniments. VERY impressed for the price. Would strongly recommend booking.

Christmas tree exhibition worth a look

We have been going to the March Hare for over 20 years and the food is always excellent, especially the carvery. However, today’s trip was disappointing, although the lady that served our drinks was lovely. There were 3 of us out for our Xmas meal together and after just over an hour of eating we were told that we had to vacate our table as people were waiting to sit down. When I booked there was no mention that we would be time limited otherwise we would have chosen somewhere different. We had no time to have another course and so we had to go to another restaurant for pudding. We will be going somewhere else next year and I would recommend people to avoid busy times (the restaurant was full to the rafters and therefore not a relaxing environment) and to check when booking in the future to avoid a rushed meal.

You could not order just 2 courses(as it’s the Christmas menu) it was a price for 1 course and a price for 3. This is encouraging obesity.(2.00 for a container to take home) The carvery excellent although if you know the guy cutting the meat you get a larger helping and this is done in front of you please note we all pay the same so not really fare on other paying clientele. The Drinks have also gone up quite a lot. But food received was excellent

Went with a party of 20+. Very very busy, a coach of 60 plus a few other groups . That didn’t stop excellent service. Pre ordered starter came out quickly . Then onto a super carvery. Roast beef melted in my mouth, a choice of 12 vegetables . . The staff handled the high number of customers very well. Desserts - a very good choice as well. Highly recommended, staff first rate. Will return

There were 7 of us to celebrate my sister’s birthday. Three of us were children aged under 7. We had a fantastic evening. We all had the carvery, except the littlest who I think had chicken nuggets! The food as always was exceptional, the service...

Went for Sunday carvery with friends. Carvery was excellent for gluten free. Lots of vegetable choice and gf gravy. The only downside was that when I booked I wasn't advised we had limited time at the table. It may be on the website and if so I missed it. We friends like a leisurely lunch but it was cut short by table hopping.

We arranged a family Christmas dinner here for 29 people, we all travelled from various destinations around England for it. I could not book this using their online booking system due to the number of our party, which was fine, so I emailed the restaurant...

Absolutely outstanding carvery. Delicious meats, excellent selection of vegetables. Helpful, pleasant staff. Also had a very pleasant bottle of red with our meal. The different rooms made a large place seem more cosy. Want to go back soon.

The Atmosphere was great, superb menu. Have been many times for their fantastic carvery. Today we had Steaks which were cooked to perfection. Lovely attentive bar and table service staff. Can’t wait to return
