Proper Jamaican spices. Salt fish fritters as well. Outstanding.

My ackee and saltfish, rice and peas was OK, could have done with a little more ackee though. A quick lunchtime stop. Have been a handful of times now.

Brilliant,love all the items on the menu.The brown stew is so delicious lately. Ackee and saltfish is banging Jamaicans national dish with steam veg. Skye juice is so refreshing, beef an cheese patty with the chicken wings are the one for a snack too.

Astonishingly good mutton stew and incredible chicken soup cooked and served up to an eclectic clientele by some sweet Rastas.

You won’t be disappointed Proper Yard Food. Came from South london where we have the best Jamaican takeaways in the uk . And 3 Spice is very very on levels. The flavours on the jerk and the curry chicken gravy on the rice. Crazy the plantain was so perfect not dry and properly ripe. Trust this man takes care with food and hygiene very very impressed and will be back anytime I’m near to Coventry the best 11/10. Make sure you get that Sky Juice too its crazy 🔥🔥🔥 wish I could of bought a bottle back. but If you dislike the food you either don’t know Jamaican flavours or are just hating because this is food spot is banging

Fast and friendly service for a great price

Great customer service, very accommodating and tasty food. The chicken oxtail and dumpling was very filling and good value for money. Don’t forget the oxtail gravy with spinners!!!!!

First visit - it was fab, only lost one star as they put veg under the mutton so you think you've got a bigger portion. Shame as food lovely.

Absolutley banging yardshack , had oxtail rice pea veg , 2 dumplings and coleslaw , could not fault one thing and the main i asked for plenty of gravy and they listened unlike most places , see you tomorow 😁

3 spice this must be under new management because the food is awful this is not Caribbean food no flavour, spice nothing its bland you don't even know what your eating would not recommend or eat there again... shocking

I've tried several Carribbean food places over the years and it put me off thinking the food wasn't for me. My wife convinced me to try this place last night and it was beautiful food, cooked to perfection obviously cooked by someone who was taught by other generations not a cook book who loves the food and culture. I ate every crumb, the dumplings were crisp and moist, the jerk was tasty with a hint of spice,the mutton was so well cooked it fell apart the patty was flakey, crunchy and tasty. Very competitive I paid less here then I do at my local Chinese and got twice the amount. 100% will eat here again.

Beautiful well presented food .... 10 out of 10 .... Definitely will be using them again.

The food was very nice and I’d recommend the place highly, my only disappointment was the lack of face mask and the lack of a hand sanitiser station not one customer or member of staff was using these precautionary measures.

First time customer: very helpful service over the phone; curried mutton and jerk chicken was delicious albeit a little dry (but we ordered late so expected); friendly quick service in the shop. Despite ordering late (9pm) I was impressed with what they had available on the menu. We'll be back.

Food was a mixed bag. Wings were cooked well and festivals were fresh which was nice. Ordered the curried chicken which was bland and I don't think they'd bothered to taste it before serving. The mutton curry was real dry with no sauce which makes me question when it was cooked. Didn't have a couple things from the menu which I could forgive if the rest of it was good. Maybe due to being the first day back after the Xmas break but if you're open for business it shouldn't make a difference. Not sure I'll be back in a rush

The Jamaican jerk chicken was delicious but the rice was overcooked and lacked seasoning. Overall, the meal was average.

Curried mutton, brown rice, dumplings, chicken nibbles and sweet plantain portions are my regular choices. I'm never disappointed. :-p

The chicken soup taste really bad, I couldn't finish it. The oxtail lacked seasoning. I've eaten from good quality Jamaican restaurants before and this one comes no where close. Waste of money. I do not normally write reviews but this one definitely needed one.
