Had a bacon and egg roll , simply perfect cooked to perfection best I’ve had for a long time 👍👍

First timers today and will definitely be back. Lovely fry up with good quality bacon and sausage. Yorkshire tea which is a massive thumbs up. Very good value. Lovely relaxed vibe and friendly staff. 5/5

Only needed a coffee,this time. Coffee very good. Service excellent. Even when I popped out and left wallet they kept an eye and told me when I came back. Friendly yet professional people. Nice surroundings also.

Really good breakfast, for £8. No 'cash only' stuff either, so all-good. Toast could be a bit thicker bread, but little else to mention that I would change. Excellent, friendly service, with a smile. Highly recommended.

If frozen breakfast is your idea of a nice breakfast then by all means come here. If it's not then avoid. The older Italian lady who works in there served me a frozen hash brown on 2 occasions I gave it the benefit of the doubt the first time but the second time is just taking the mick.

My second visit here and I was delighted to return. A spotlessly clean cafe with 19 dine in covers. A first rate medium sized breakfast was promptly served and was delicious. A busy take out service with a good range of food options. I was warmly greeted by the owner who was extremely warm and welcoming. I would certainly recommend a visit.

Only went in for a coffee had a longer than expected wait, another couple also had to wait for their drinks. In total I waited around 10 mins easy. I understand they had a visitor however it was a long wait and stood around talking for a while after. Nice looking menu, I would go back.

The new place is not as good as the previous owners. We used to get a nice bit of salad or coleslaw and crisps with toasties for example, now you just get basically a toastie bit dry, nothing with it

Popped in because my car was in the garage over the road. So glad I did! The most beautiful the words in the English language are "all day breakfast" and this place does them justice. I had the vegetarian breakfast, and it was fast and delicious. Beautiful decor, lovely staff. Please do give it a try.

The best spot to have breakfast or lunch in Spon End! The coffee is tasty and well made, same for the food. The staff is available and super friendly, they know what they are doing and that is what counts! Clean and organised tables and cutlery. I often come here to eat or to order something to take away 💪🏼😋

Had Traditional Breakfast at £7.50. All quality ingredients with numerous items: sausage, beans, bacon, mushrooms, black pudding, hash brown, toast and fried egg: all delicious: highly recommended. Drinks also very reasonable price and I loved the coffee used in my espresso.

We ordered take away it was awful and was taken back. Changed to 4 stars because partners came back with freshly cook and was lovely

Ordered Vegan BF. Food was average. Ingredients seemed cheap. The full ingredients were not available(no tofu) so I was offered an additional sausage. The plate seemed like a mess with lot of beans. The toasted bread had a deep thumb impression on it- probably the waitress pressed the bread while carrying it. Coffee - soya flat white was super bad. I don’t think I will be coming back.

DONT BOTHER - Ordered the vegan breakfast only to be told that there was no tofu, as the person I was with had half eaten their breakfast we couldn't really up and leave to go elsewhere. Told them not a problem bulk it out with more mushrooms or something. When it finally came (long after the person I was with had finished their brekie) there was half a plate of beans a small spoon of mushrooms, 2 Hash browns, 2 slices of tomato and 1 slice of toast. I discovered the tea that came with had something in the bottom of the mug which only came to my attention when I had drank most of the bloody thing! When i asked the server if she knew what was in my tea she said no, turned round and carried on cleaning the table. The breakfast with tea and toast was £7.50, turns out I could of ordered what I had as extras on the menu including the tea and toast for under £5. Absolute shocking service, the fact that two people arrive together and have to eat completely separately from one another after such a long wait is appalling and then to realise you had been shortchanged on your breakfast with no offer to compensate the difference is just really bad customer service. The shame is I'd been really wanting to try the vegan offering for some time and telling people about the good option they have for breakfast. Will not be a returning visitor!

Tried out this cafe for the first time on a Saturday morning. The place was really busy so that might explain the wait.. I waited nearly and hour for my food and then I was served a breakfast with cheap ingredients thrown on the plate with what looked like not much of a thought. They forgot our drinks and we had to ask for them halfway through the meal. Menu is also very limited. I won't be returning.

Needs to be more efficient. Busy wee place, but got a seat and ordered. The 2 tables that came in after us got.their food first - and finished them - before we got ours. Ordered omelette and chips and waited 30 mins for 1 plate to come out then another 5mins for the other plate - bring the 2 of them out together and why on earth did it take that long, should only take 5mins and how did they throw out the other full breakfasts before that?!?! Omelette - cheese and onions, hardly an cheese and small but alot of onions. Chips were ok, some undercooked and some overcooked and abit bland. No bad prices tbh, £4 for omelette and side and a £1 for a can of juice. But wouldn't go back as the waiting times are frustrating.

I decided to visit the venue after reading the reviews. Although I was the only customer, I didn't feel welcome. I ordered the "Traditional Breakfast" which includes a drink, I chose tea. The tea took over 10 minutes to arrive which I felt was excessive. The milk was served in an espresso coffee cup which made it difficult to pour. The breakfast arrived about 25 minutes after I arrived, again, I felt this too long to have waited given the fact the cafe wasn't busy. The food was acceptable, but poor value for money. Baked Beans were used to "fill the plate". I won't be using the cafe again, I feel it is to "up market" for the area.

Nice breakfast, however could of had a better menu like £5,£7&£9 Breakfasts.

Had a full breakfast (sausage, bacon, hash brown, fried egg, beans, mushroom, tomato, toast and black pudding) which was really good the sausage was especially decent unlike so many other breakfast places that seem to serve the cheapest sausages they can find. The staff were super friendly so let's hope the place is a success.
