Ordered korma and lamb biryani for takeaway, was really nice and service was great

Got the lamb dum biryani and chicken korma with garlic naan. Ordered it for collection. The staff were friendly and fairly quick despite being a busy restaurant. The biryani was delicious, had lots of lamb pieces and paired really well with the raita! The korma was a bit sweet but still very yum and; the garlic naan was very garlicky and also worked very well with the korma!

We had ordered a lamb shank with pilau rice. For 15 pounds it was really good quality and portion serving was absolutely massive! It had me stuffed like a samosa at the end of it😂. I also highly recommend the Rajasthani lal maans which was fiery and flavourful and when paired with the chilli coriander naan it was 🤤.The staff was also extremely friendly serving our food and drinks quite speedily! Also the Indian music in the restaurant also adds more to this illustrious experience at Delhi 76! Highly recommend coming here!!!!

This place has a lot of potential, I can only look comment on what I had which was a chicken madras, it was perfectly balanced and tasted fantastic, the chicken was probably slightly over cooked for my liking but it was still beautiful. Will be back to try more.

An early evening dinner so atmosphere was not present but music was interesting and quiet enough that a conversation could be held. The venue doesn’t look much from outside but the staff were very pleasant and the food was excellent. Don’t dismiss this restaurant on the basis of looks or where it is. It is well worth a visit.

Absolutely amazing food! We don’t eat meat so we could only try the veg options. Paneer Jalfrezi and Dal Makhani were really delicious, one of the best Indian food I’ve had in the UK. The nan and tandoori roti were also perfect in size. Last but not least, special mentions for the people served us - Sai and Sushma.

Do not order from them. I ordered for my name day and they did not intend to deliver in time. Plus the service is very bad. I had to beg to refund my money back. However, I hope I will get all my refund back. Seeing all these good reviews I thought they are going to treat me with respect. Disappointing.

Perfect place for having a lovely dinner with family. Excellent customer service from Sai.. please note to make reservation prior so that you can avoid any dissapointment. I ordered lamb chops and chilli chicken as starter. Chilli chicken was simply delicious, i would recommend every one to try this. Lamb chops was okay and well done. Chicken biriyani was full of flavour and provided with side (biriyani curry/yogurt)

If you want test good Indian food in coventry, then this is the place. I loved momos, mutton curry and chicken dum biryani

Good food albeit I can't take a lot of spice, slight intolerance to chilli and I have to be careful. Overall food looked brilliant and I'm sure I'm missing out on a lot of really great dishes of different cultures but I just can't do too much chilli!

Really good food. The taste is so authentic that is reminded me of my home Indian food. Starters are also very delicious. Garlic Chicken Tikka is one of my favourites. So good!

I don’t know what they playing with but £7 for 6 balls of Manchurian is a scam. Come on? At least fill the plate with food, I’m not paying money for salad and empty plate.

All the food that was served to us was absolute yumm and matched our indian taste buds. Avil suggested us few dishes to try from the menu and all turned out to be amazing. He also suggested some good beer options to go with the food. He was very kind and polite and was ready to attend to all our requests. In all, we had a good experience at delhi 76 and would love to visit again!!

I ordered a takeaway from here last night and the food was absolutely delicious. I throughly enjoyed everything and it tasted so fresh! Will definitely order again.

The management is very annoying. The short manager was disturbing us again and again. We didn’t like the vibe of the restaurant.

Absolute rubbish delivery times. They will minimum take 1 hour and more. They won’t pick up your calls or Uber eates would help you. Just keep away from this place if you want food in reasonable time of 45 mins. Update: The food was and is usually very delicious so will give 5 for that. The delivery person did communicate that they had lots of people for dine inn. But still I find 1.5 hours unacceptable and the owner must work on this aspect.

Amazing restaurant and service. Obviously, some people get very drunk and disorderly, causing mayhem, then put fake reviews on to try and cover their lousy backs (shame on you all) All these years in visiting, never once had any problems with food or service. Absolutely amazing, Restaurant.

The food tasted absolutely divine! I'll recommend kadai paneer and garlic naan, though the chaat was good too. The staff were friendly. Definitely visiting again! (Also, I was really put off by an image in a recent review. But google reverse image search shows it's a fake image, originally shot in 2010...)

Yesterday I had ordered a vegetarian dish and it tasted like chicken. Not a good experience here.

Delhi 76 is the worst place to eat at. There is a group of Gujarati uncles who sit there and harass other people. One of them was constantly eyeing at me. These uncles created an uncomfortable and hostile environment for me and my friends. One of them touched me inappropriately and the manager of the restaurant didn’t say a word. The manager did some inappropriate hand gestures when I complained about those cheap uncles. The manager of Delhi 76 also threatened me when I asked him to get a hold of his cheap regular customers. The female staff working at the restaurant is abusive. The owner is annoying and disrespectful and belittles people who are not their regular customers. It is definitely not a safe place to go, especially for girls. When I asked him if we can sit upstairs as my friends and I were feeling uncomfortable, he said “Sorry, I can’t do that and I also can’t ask these customers to shut up because they are millionaires.” The restaurant owner himself doesn’t care what kind of people he is letting in. Those uncles are harassers. The staff of the restaurant isn’t great either, they’re all racist and mean. I asked for an alcoholic drink, but there was no alcohol in it and when I sent that drink back, the female staff working in the bar completely ignored my request and started being rude to me. The manager is so cheap. I saw him lurking in the women's restroom. Free advice: only go if you are millionaire because the owner will throw you out and mess with your food if you are not one.

As pointed out by other reviewers, the problem of the gujju arrogant old men persists. Delhi 76 is home to these drunkards who act like they own the place! And who do you seek help from? The management itself is made up of a bunch of rude and spineless men and women. We’re paying for what we eat, but we’re told ‘these gujju men are millionaires, please do not talk on your table so they can enjoy their music’, as if we’re homeless or poor and that they’re doing a charity by feeding us😒. The woman there is quite rude too. Shame to have experienced this level of sexism in a country like England where the management openly asks you to stop talking if you’re a woman and they go on to define how a ‘decent’ woman should not hang out with a bunch of boys! They have the audacity to point out such things to their customers but won’t step in to help them if they’re being bullied by fellow customers. They can happily keep serving this group of entitled oldies because none of us are ever visiting again!

Best Nepalese and Indian restaurant in Coventry.

I visited Delhi 76 restaurant recently, and the experience was nothing short of disappointment. Not only did we find a tail of a mouse in our food, but it seems like cleanliness and hygiene are not a priority for this establishment. This wasn't the first time we encountered hygiene issues either; the last visit involved finding hair in our food. Additionally, the atmosphere was marred by the presence of three bald, older gentlemen who made our dining experience uncomfortable. They stared at girls in a creepy manner and boasted about their wealth, which seemed more like a facade given their behavior. Despite their inappropriate conduct, the restaurant staff seemed to favor them, even going as far as asking us to lower our voices when we were already speaking quietly. The owner's lack of accountability was evident as well. Instead of addressing the issues with the disruptive customers and acknowledging the poor quality of the food, the owner seemed to side with them, further adding to our frustration. Overall, Delhi 76 fails to deliver on both hygiene and customer service fronts. I would strongly advise against dining here unless you're prepared to encounter unclean conditions and unwelcome encounters with obnoxious patrons.

This restaurant was one of the best before but it has gone down to 1 star because of the service and the food that I experienced last time. We ordered a lot of starters but eventually in the end one of our food item that was chilli chicken had COCKROACH in it and the manager over there didn’t agree at all. We asked him to check the cameras but still he was not ready to listen. The max that he did was didn’t take the money for the dish. Next thing that I did immediately was checked their kitchen and it was in the worst worst condition ever , flies everywhere. Please guys health comes first.

I am a regular customer at Delhi 76 and I love the food however I visited today the lady was very rude her tone was bad when she said we have no tables available and when asked for takeaway she was extremely rude again. Never visiting again.

Came here because of good reviews and the food was actually pretty good. Had chicken chilli, momos, paneer tikka butter masala and Dal makhni. Really good value for money. The food prep takes a reallyyyyyyy long time though and hence the low rating.

Today I tried paneer balti and cheese chili naan which is extremely good. Cheese chili naan is most recommend to try. Apart from this I tried samosa chaat which is really really good. Thank you so much Sai for you wonderful service

The food was lovely. I had channa, veggie sizzler, naan. All were tasty. The service was a little sparse. Had to wait for service. The atmosphere was busy but very cold. We were sat by the main window and had a portable heater by us, but it didn't help. We were still cold.
