This place spoilt my 69th birthday. The food was mediocre the service was aggressive and considering I had booked a table for 10 an hours drive away because of the reviews I was devastated. We kept trying to order wine and they only had one bottle of each and when we complained that one wasn’t up to standard were told it was a matter of taste. We then found out it was changing hands the next day so I hope it is changing staff too. £800 for a really poor lunch was not what I had imagined . Don’t waste your money , I have no idea where these other reviews came from. I feel very sorry for the new owners. I never write negative reviews but this was dreadful, thank goodness for understanding friends.

The food here is pretty nice. It comes piping hot which is good, but it is on the more expensive side and you often have to wait longer than expected. Occasionally it's difficult to get a seat but that just shows how popular this place is. The variety in sauces is very wide.

The fine dining experience and food from here is second to none for eating in, (normal idian menu). They have recently added a new fast food kind of menu which inc a range of burgers (100% Angus beef), pizzas, kebabs, deserts and milkshakes. I couldn't wait to try this so i had kebab meat and chips, pizza(margarita), cheesey garlic bread, wings and chicken kebab in naan. I got to say I was pleasantly surprised since panka walla really specialise in curry dishes. Everything was spot on, loads of flavour and delivered hot. Even had 20% discount on order as its a special offer at the time of order. If I'm being picky and I mean picky I'm not sure of the doner kebab meat as it may lack flavour if not dressed in there sauce and onions, but that's it. We'll worth a try, and dining in is a must as place is spotless, homely, staff are really friendly and can't do enough. Delivery driver was pleasant also. Just an add on, just been recently and the place is still spot on. Spotlessly clean, staff excellent and food is beautiful. I believe they've taken the pub over now too and do a slightly different menu like mixed grills. Can wait to go back and try. Well done mabs, ashad and team.

Rara vez me pierdo por las palabras pero nuestra comida en Opheem fue una rara excepción. Había estado en nuestra ‘lista’ durante algún tiempo, pero finalmente llegamos a nuestro aniversario de bodas. En resumen, se colocaron cerca de 20 platos de comida delante de nosotros y no había un solo mis - paso. Cada curso que salió fue nuestro “favorito”. Por lo general, con menús degustación, la fatiga se instala, pero podría haberme sentado allí toda la noche y continuar. La guinda del pastel fue Aktar mismo trayendo algo de nuestra comida para nosotros. Le dije que “esta fue la mejor comida que hemos comido” y la mantengo. Mi esposa y yo hemos tenido mucha suerte de comer en algunos restaurantes increíbles en todo el mundo. Pero Opheem (y Midsummer House) están en la cumbre. Simplemente perfecto, y un honor absoluto haber comido allí (lo haremos de nuevo).

Hi ! I was recently here with my two mates for some food, and boy, was I pleasantly surprised. I had a steak and guiness pie, and It was the best pie I have ever had ! Gravy delicious, meat nicely cooked and falling apart, nice pie crust on the top, just 10 out of 10 dish ^^ . Good portion as well if you are hungry. Staff was lovely and helpful, the atmosphere was great. They have few craft beers there, which is a big plus for me. Massive beer garden with a stage for music performance! Definitely coming back there at some point :D. All the best!

Delicious food with a wide variety of choice. Encouraged to refill and try everything. Friendly, attentive staff.....even one of the chefs came for a chat and to check for allergies. We had a lovely evening and will be back.

The staff were as welcoming as always the staff always have a laugh and a joke but at the same time they always remain polite and professional I come to the Himalaya every time I come to visit my mother and my Nanna the food was outstanding

We had an amazing meal here last night. Poppadoms with multiple dips were lovely, service was exceptional. Main meals were delicious, and the staff gave us a complementary dessert, drink, and sweets at the end. Would definitely recommend, we will be returning soon!
