Another meal out with family at The Himalayan. As always we had a warm welcome. The food was excellent, flavoursome, great portion sizes and really good quality. Thanks for my Chana chat puri which as always was superb. See you again when we’re next down on a visit to family. Highly recommend a visit here if you haven’t been.

Lovely venue - excellent service and oh such delicious cakes and pastries! Popped in after the lovely river walk. Well worth a visit !

We came in just for a scallop to tide us over but everything looked so tasty that we ended up eating in and everything was delicious! The staff, Ant and Carla were fabulous and so patient when my partner left to ransack his van for change for a curry sauce! We will definitely be back! Thank you both x

Today we took our residents to the Portobello for lunch. Tammy really looked after us and made the whole experience stress free and enjoyable. Food was good, hot & reasonably priced. Great lunchtime experience we will be back.

Disappointingly average.. it was pretty quiet for a Saturday night but the service was slow. Took 20 minutes to get the bill. Food was okay, wouldn't bother to go again

I didn't know this place existed until I was invited to a wedding! We were pleasantly surprised. There is a good cafe and the surroundings are tranquil. We didn't have food, but what we saw on offer in the cafe looked nice.

Great service!. Limited but good selection of ales and larger. Nice snugs with board games in them. Very traditional and fun pub to be in

Came here with a friend and it was lovely. I had the espresso glazed donut and it was really yummy, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Would come again!

Walked out of this place as no social distancing, no perspex screens, staff unmasked and leaning forward to within 1m of customers. All of the customers complying with mask rules; why can't the staff reciprocate with mutual respect?

After not eating here for a *long* time we tried eating here again once lock-down had finished. Happy to report that we've been delighted with the quality of the food and have eaten here a few times since. Even better the food has been consistently good too.
